I am glad we’re able to zoom in on the announcers while a huge hand is going on I totally want to squint to see the bet sizing, turn/River card, and equities
I've been trying to figure something out - who at PokerGo woke up one day, and decided "Hey, I think we should focus on the commentators and NOT the Poker when there is a big hand going on. That sounds like a great idea! But hey! When the fans who pay for our services complain about it for months, let's continue to do it! Yes!"
I have to say, the producers of No Gamble No Future have really outdone themselves, cutting to the announcers during every single crucial moment of every massive pot is something never seen before in a poker show but i think it really works. Poker should never be the main focus of the poker show
I'm with Keating at 13:50. Sometimes the chair is comfortable and the game itself is enough. They could all still play musical chairs or whatever without him if poker isn't enough for them, so he's not ruining their fun.
@@robertwinkelbauer3244 He won that big pot first, which helped finance all his losses throughout the rest of this video. Most of the hands were from the same game.
@@Glastoki We don't really need them to know the new jargon anymore, because we know it. I very much doubt anyone is watching these shows anymore that isn't very engrossed in the poker world. I like Ali and Schulmann but Gabe and AJ have the best chemistry of anyone and it's so awesome that they're back, brings back all the feels of those first few great seasons.
Man I love seeing all these old faces. Total nostalgia. I started watching poker back when Moneymaker had just won the world series, and I had all the time in the world to do so.
Watch it again, they actually edited out how long she waited, then they edited out Garret thinking about it before he folded. Clear video editing on this one. And Jen Tilly is not a slouch at the poker table!
#20:20 if he really wants his opponents to call/bet, why even do the intimidation? He did the same thing to Garret too, by calling even before Garret placed the bet
😂😂😂😂😂 I want to take Persson's photo and put it on my bedroom's wall so that in every morning I get up I see his face and smile. I haven't seen a single piece like him in my life...😂🤣🤣
The look on Perssons face at 20:31 is painful for every player that's ever screwed up in a game. A confident grin when we know he just put his gonads in a vise. Even if you don't like the guy you had to cringe just a bit. Then he asked Hanks if he was going to shove, Hanks is thinking I've got you by the short hairs, don't make it worse for yourself. He told Eric you shouldn't have showed that card, Eric said ' I know'. Everyone is thinking no Eric, you don't know, not yet anyway. Hanks almost didn't know what to do, it's not often a guy says here's all my money, please take it from me.
E.p. Tried pushing his stack around and when that didn't work he tried to talk his way to a win, he showed alot of fear that hand. " you know I got position right "? " im gonna be chip leader " and just before the turn bet " i wouldn't do that " and he also loves the old holding the chips and getting ready to throw them in the pot trick!
It seems Eric gets his money in bad a lot. His best skill is hi recklessness. Other players can’t get a read on him, but if he snaps all-in he tends to be bluffing or have the worst hand.
Why do you guys want to split the screen so that th we viewers can see you guys talking? We don't really need to see your faces. Just the poker video . Thanks
Game 2: Why do we want a split screen with the announcers so that we can’t see the details of the hand? Fail. Glad they figured it out before the hand ended.
Persson’s biggest weakness is his own ego. He showed Hanks he had the King high flush and Hanks didn’t fold or show any slight sign of weakness. There should’ve been alarm bells going off in his head that Hanks had the nuts.
About 14:30 someone suggested a stand-up game. Keating was too comfy in his chair so it didn't happen. Don't you think they could have played it and let Keating stay seated? It's not like they couldn't keep track of whether or not Keating won a hand along the way.
the 8:51 hand .. should prob be in front of the other hand he was in .. Persson is on 750 k here .. other hand around 300 .. so kinda easy to tell who will lose this hand
The zoom on the announcers is annoyingly obnoxious. Seems whoever did these edits doesn't play poker and should be replaced considering this is a poker show.
It seems to me that with the first hand and the second hand you see players go all in as a bluff or semi-bluff basically but they are only going to get called by better, doesn't make sense to me to do that because if their opponent has the hand that is better they are always going to call. Am I missing something or are Negs and Hanks actually ever going to fold to an All In in that scneario?
the fact nobody clocked onto Perssons vibrating ring on his finger for so long now is crazy, thought it was a Samsung galaxy ring but he's had it for a long time so most likely some form of vibration to make him aware of others hands etc.
0:15 is it ok for the one guy to be playing with his chips and making noise like that when he's not even in the hand? the sound is grating and putting me on edge. is that a tactic people use at the table?
Just saying, Garret was in the hand. And yeh apart from that the ones who play poker are very used to this since it’s a playful emote in a certain way while playing poker.
On the first hand, after the flop (1:25) and turn(1:58), then he bluffs the river, Adelstein’s mouth gives it away on the side view when the camera is looking at Negraneau. He’s relaxed and natural on the first 2 streets, on the third he’s pursing his lips (2:42), the corner of his mouth is curved up, unnatural.
Imagine if a recreational player 4-bet with a marginal hand, checked flop, checked turn and then led the river with a bet twice the size of the pot. Daniel underrepresented his hand, inducing that play, regardless that would only have worked on a scared-money playing amateur.
Yeah. Does he really think Tilly, someone who plays fairly tight, is going to call him with worse? Maybe if she has an overpair or AJ, but what else is calling here?
I am glad we’re able to zoom in on the announcers while a huge hand is going on I totally want to squint to see the bet sizing, turn/River card, and equities
My knee just farted... is that normal?
Lol exactly. Like the cards are barely visible. The editor must be dumb.
thats exactly what i came to the comments for.... i wanted to see Hanks 4 bet size against Eric AA vs QQ
Who cares about the players, the commentators are what the people asked for!

that 7 on the river was sick

Man, Gabe Kaplan and A.J Benza calling a high stakes cash game again just sounds so damned sweet to my ears. 22 years since they started it all.
