I love how many people talk about how brilliant Brad Booth's play with the 42ss is, and it's only because it somehow got through. Had Ivey called, which easily could have happened, the same people would go on and on about how it was the biggest punt ever. Yet what no one says is "what a punt... that happened to work."
It’s brilliant even if Ivey called . He had the nuts blocker and Ivey probably tot nobody will dare to do such a sick bluff on him and that he’s behind
But it did work…so therefore it’s brilliant
IT's the type of move that high level players make he knew Phil had Aces or Kings and sensed he could make Ivey fold to a big bet sometimes you have to play nothing hands strong to make your play look unpredictable I mean you saw Ivey win a hand with 7-2 same Idea

Dwan hella smart, he knows phill ivey loves money that 2k offer would spark iveys interest, ivey allready gave information by asking Dawn if the deal goes tru if he only shows his cards to Dawn, that already tells phill had jacks or better. Dawn got information without really paying any thing.

Yeh... That's if you believe that Ivey was not joking. Although we, the audience, knows what he had; I can't say anybody who didn't see his cards would take his comment as a sign of anything.

Miss these games. Everyone is older it’s cool. But nothing will be like this Era for everyone. Even the “Rookies” atm. They were treated with a level of respect like everyone else. I can’t wait to win my bracelet
Ivey doesnt bluff or bloat pots like he used too, more of a grinder playstyle these days, similar for Dwan. Just look at his play at Triton cash games and modern Poker Go highstakes games with the older High Stakes Poker show.

@@bbertgilo1574 Phil tank folded, I think Daniel probably gave him credit for a weak T. Patrik's never bluffing there, and Daniel probably thought Patrik would never raise on the river with anything but a higher full house.
Daniel's sizing was half pot ish on the river, Patrik probably thought a higher full house would raise more.
another great read by Negreanu, yawn. He usually says a hand that beats him, calls, then people act like he made a great read.

If you're wondering about the Daniel fold at the end he did a whole video on that hand. Bottom line is the only hand Daniel can beat is 55, but it makes no sense that PA would have that because why would he raise with it? First time I watched that hand I was so confused, I thought maybe he was turning it into a bluff. Maybe he was?

If he called with that 6 against dwan, that play would need to be study. Why was he tanking so long? Dwans story added up.

Bad fold on the first hand with the Kings. I’m surprised he folded I really am. Awful fold. Ivey is a beast and made a bad fold. Even legends can play a hand like garbage.

On one hand it was a bad fold but on the other not enough money in the pot relative to the all-in for it to truly be. If you are Phil you are either facing a flush draw or a set in that instance with the KK suddenly looking like a boxer's legs after getting dropped.

Kind of can’t blame Daniel for that fold on the last hand. Given the way the hand was played someone easily could’ve had a better full house. Antonious may have even considered that Daniel would fold 99 or 109 to the shove there.

Why, can you not see the cards? Or do you not understand how poker works? You should watch poker with Ali Nejad commentating, you'll love him. He does nothing but call out the cards and the bet sizes, and gives you zero insight or analysis.
