I watch this one every time it comes up. One of my favorite final tables of all time. Antonio has Vanessa's number. Sorry, had to edit this- Don't waste your time if you want to see the best part of all this- Why post something like this, when you've had the original segments with ALL of it up, many times before? CLICK BAIT from the WPT? Wow.
Found out this WPT Bellagio 5 Diamond was played in 2005. Many of these players would go on and bigger and better except maybe Ted Lawson & Kirk Morrison. V. Russo slowed down in being competitive in tournaments. IMO, Robl went up the highest; playing the biggest games in Macau and in the Triton Series. Esfandiari would win the big 1 Drop, Racener would finish 2nd in the 2010 Main Event. RIP Chad Brown and Mike Sexton
If Ted thinks he had rotten luck with the triple 9s and Qs, there was another incident like that, except it was with quadruple 9s and Qs! Imagine having four of a kind only to find out your opponent has a higher four of a kind!
It's so obvious she got a buzzer, the game is live and it just needs 4 people. The buzz, 2 fans and the player ! It's up where only a female officer can look

She wasn't upset that time was almost out. She asked him how much time is left, he waits a bit then starts the 10 second count down. All he had to do was let her know she had 15-20 seconds left when she asked.
@@jeffswanson3417 she's actually wearing a watch and she should be more time aware herself, asking how much time you got left shouldn't have anything to do with your decision, you're telling me you're gonna make a different choice dependant on how much time you got left? she got frazzled and blamed the director for her indicision, if I was the director I would have just folded it out exactly on her 1min self call.
@@blackmancer the point I was making was to the original poster who claimed she was upset time ran out. I wasn't claiming she was or wasn't justified in her reaction but just that she was upset not with time running out but with the director not acknowledging her question.
Vanessa is my celebrity crush. Extremely smart and smoking hot. Everyone thought I was nuts for watching poker on tv back in the day but I sure did enjoy it. And how about Kara Scott? Good lord almighty, that is one attractive female.
nah it made sense when he waited and then said 1 minute that was really weird. She wanted a quick a response of how many seconds were left, not an explanation that calling clock = 1 minute... she already knew that so yeah very odd for that to be his delayed reply
Especially since everyone and their dad knew she was going to fold when she said "I have a monster hand here." with a sketch pair of 7s and NO heart against three on the flop. I mean, I suppose it was some kind of mental game she was attempting there, but with her talent as a poker player, there is no doubt in my mind she had no intention of calling that.
fair question the raise before him was quite large. large raise means that the raiser has a very strong hand (like AA, KK, QQ, AK, etc.), making QJ (non suited) less favorable in comparison as well as having to deal with possible other large hands as there are other players to act as well.
I played poker professionally and I've played different tournaments and cash rooms. I honestly can't believe that Andrew would call with just Ace high when Vanessa had the trip nines. Amazing amount of chips to lose by calling with Ace high. Even if you think she's bluffing you have to fold and just move on to the next hand. He must take it pretty personal. The call is almost narcissistic. 🤔
Agree, should have folded turn imo. Players back in the day just weren't very good by modern standards, we got Vanessa raising flop with J7s for top pair on a monotone flop and then tanking a long time thinking about calling lmao, calling there is absolute suicide.
Kirk thinking he's cool saying pass to fold everytime is wild. Played w that guy a few years ago in a 400 at cherokee and he's just as much of a broke loser as you'd expect.
where can i watch it till the end

Absolute killer on the poker table. One of the greats.

Vanessa made the worst fold in history to Antonio when she had two pair and folded. Omg!!!
Vaness calling clock on herself and then being upset when she runs out of time...pretty dumb.
She wasn't upset that time was almost out. She asked him how much time is left, he waits a bit then starts the 10 second count down. All he had to do was let her know she had 15-20 seconds left when she asked.
