I like to think when a poker player has the nuts and theyre pretending to spend a long time thinking to make their hand look weaker, they're just thinking "Where am I gonna go to dinner tonight?"
16:25 seeing torelli ask phil if he had more yellow chips hidden is.. kind of amusing.. given that torelli has a naughty naughty habit of hiding big chips to trick players into thinking he has less than he really does..
Some network or RUclips channel ran a segment on him constantly doing that I'm pretty sure....kind of funny how i start making judgements in big tourneys based on simply how people stack their chips. Value wise that is.....
Hellmuth is bad looser, but Tony is bad winner and that is worse. If tony tryed that shit against some bad people they would beat him and took his chips and that is the reason why people got shoot in the old days
That hand by Patrick was very well played (and lucky). I wouldnt dare try to say how any of these professional players should play their hands like so many other clowns have. However, I've had checking the nuts comeback and get me in the nuts too many times. Scooping a min. pot with a boat, nut flush, or whatever it was trying to set up the big hit. When it works out like this hand did their is nothing better. But it's very rare that I try this play anymore. I'll just put some small sizing out to start with and if they fold after the river then so be it.
Is it ego or ignorance that prevents a skilled lay down??? Fine line between them for sure. That lingering doubt is what causes the best to bust. Also frustrating is make best decision and STILL not cashing the MTT or leave up for a session. Game is very S&M orientated. IM ALL IN ...
That was as standard play to check the flop out of position as you can think of. How is that even considered to be a mistake? And that game was recorded like 10 years ago with a totally different, ultra tight meta game back than. The fact he took that 1 minute to even consider folding, and called 9's full is impressive. think before making any comment.
I was guessing that hellmuths full house was stronger with an ace? is it because Black has x3 of 9s and thats what counts first hand? How many of 3x rather than 2x you have? Please enlighten me
Kinda new to poker in the first clip I’m confused how hellmuth lost. He had a full house with his A,5 hand and lost to three of a kind 9s can someone help me out lol
For sure...I just commented somewhere else saying I could play this hand 100 times and I'm calling every trip. I'm not good enough to lay that down. Then theirs people who fold but they fold any time their stack is at risk. Then you have those that can either make great reads or just that good who can actually lay that down. But with that texture I'm always calling.
Watching the poker vids, training the game all while listening to music that makes me sharp and able to achieve. I like Delta Parole, AFi, etc as music, what you guys listen to focus I am curious?
Jesus Christ. that EXACT hand with Phil happened to me a few nights ago. except I had position and they other guy was just calling my bets, then shoved on the river. called lost $70 on it lmao
What happened in the first clip did Phil fold or did he call, bc he said he had a straight but if he won, which he had the better hand so he should’ve said his cards
In the laak and Schwartz hand, why was he flopped dead? If Schwartz hit running queens his quads would have been good over laaks boat. Unless I missed some information like someone else at the table folded a queen pre flop meaning there aren't two queens in the deck for him.
Got them when people didn’t have a clue , i haven’t seen Phil do well for a long time , he’s turned himself into a franchise and that’s all he cares about.
Alec Torelli brags about laying down bottom set in multi way pot when his opponent flopped a flush but then loses 50k with pocket aces when his opponent flopped a straight lmao
The Patty because everything you say at the board is readable. It shows he was willing to risk it all for a turn or river draw, thus maybe saving himself a hand later in the tournament when someone would think he’s bluffing
Homeboy spinning his chip making that scratching sound in the first clip was driving me nuts
Check.. check... check. What a play by Antonius. Hook, line and sinker.
That third time check by Patrick was fucking stone cold.
The way schwartz chews his gum makes me wanna rage hard
I can't stand it
I bet it’s even worse if you were next to him because you could also hear him chewing.
Both opponents seem to know their respective ranges pretty well, actually calling out each other’s hands. That was impressive.
I like to think when a poker player has the nuts and theyre pretending to spend a long time thinking to make their hand look weaker, they're just thinking "Where am I gonna go to dinner tonight?"
Is it weird that I like Phil Hellmuth as an announcer.
Phil lying makes me happy
That Mr Antonius was insane.
Hellmuth may be a terrible loser, but the guy is a poker genius

@@Thynqikan you can muck your hand after calling the final bet.
Who won that hand? Obviously the guy with the full house but he didn’t make it seem like it just wanna make sure, just curious

8:16 "you owe me 400" LOL I didn't think Phil was going show him at all, what a baller move
I see in the comments that everyone keeps asking why Schwartz was a 0%.. it is because someone folded a Q so there was no chance for runners..
It’s not because of Q is out but it’s because if Q come he can’t win full house with that. Full house with K is better than Q.
@@3-fullstopofficial966 if he got four queens though.. which he couldn't so he had a 0% chance after the flop
16:20 Jungleman looks so high in this shot. Probably took a hit with Laak. At least Laak was clever enough to wear shades :D
it seemed to me that he was stoned by marijuana
"There's a European Hellmuth!?!" For all the blowups, Phil is still a good sport
Hellmuth is the best poker commentator
I don't even know how poker works and I'm watching this
Love how concerned Torelli is with Laak's chips being out of his line of sight. The irony. @16:32
Johnathan S Still think he’s a shitbag for that angle shoot
I love that the biggest angle shooter got owned by Laak
Nobody in the history of earth has ever wanted good fortune for a guy like Schwartz...nobody...

Patrick played Tony G like a banjo
I knew Phil is in this one, he is always in one of these
Ah for the life of me I was sat there wondering why on the first hand the guy with Ace 5 lost, he obviously had AA555 and the other guy had 99955
2nd one was so fun to watch lol
Torelli should be embarrassed. In no way shape or form were aces good on that board
Laak catching Schwatz is so great

It's so sick.
Any man chewing gum with the mouth open like that deserves to get punched in the face
I like seeing Tony G lose.
Richard Broski I love Tony
He and Hellmuth both have painted bad beat targets on their head. But out of both of them, I hate Tony G with a passion. Hellmuth is the Goat though.

We're all Phil Hellmuths.
I'd like to know wtf was thinking Torelli when he called the turn and the river, too
Why do I like Hellmuth so much?? I just don’t get it!
Was this a joke,

Quads vs Quads should definitely be included here
Phil is always on the highlights yet in the losing position tho hahahaha!!!
It may look that way and I for real cant stand that guy but his play is elite

Phil Hellmuth is totally a great player.

Not just that, when they bet or call they just throwing the chips and let the handler fix 😔
I was guessing that hellmuths full house was stronger with an ace? is it because Black has x3 of 9s and thats what counts first hand? How many of 3x rather than 2x you have? Please enlighten me
Not a poker player, but by my observations of all the videos I've watched, I believe that the higher ranked 3x wins.
hahah best video ever. Dumbasses schwartz and tony g both losing big hands. Love it
Kinda new to poker in the first clip I’m confused how hellmuth lost. He had a full house with his A,5 hand and lost to three of a kind 9s can someone help me out lol
Longlive Nutter With a full house, the player with the higher valued 3-of-a-kind (in this case, 9s beat 5s) wins
He also had a full house 3 9’s and the 2 5’s which beats 3 5’s and 2 A’s
No way that Torelli should've called that River bet. Terrible call, so obvious that his aces were cracked....
wow Marcel Luske... how old is that vid?
13:36 why obrestad has more chances to win than him if he got As and 4s? what does she did?
What’s a better hand
Full house 9’s full of 5’s
Or...
Full house
5’s full
Of Aces???
John Smith 9s full of 5s
It’s always the 3 number that matters. Whatever you have 3 of take that number compare it to what the opponent has 3 of, and whichever is higher wins
Ex he has 3 9s and 2 5s, so take 9. Compared to Phil. He has 3 5s and 2 aces. He has 5. 9 is higher than 5, 9 wins
Impossible lay down for phil

Torelli - great macaroni, bad poker.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but if Tony G got 2 kings on the turn-river he’d win? So how is it 100% chance Antonius won on the flop?
A wise gambler once told me. It's better to not bet and win than to bet and lose.
Why did Phil lie about his hand?!
he's a gross loser
BCS it's a poker moron xD deception !
Because he's one of the lousiest losers of the game. Disrespectful to the very end.
I don’t understand it either
He won with the full house in very confused
@@happ0bapp0 not sure why he lied but his full house couldn't have won, three nines beats three fives doesn't matter that Phil had a pair of aces

such a bad play by Torelli..he should have folded on the turn

Rafal Les some people just can’t fold aces
Rafal Les he thought that he could “hero call”
Can someone explain to me how 3 of a kind beats a full house on the first clip with helmuth??
kirk bowman He won with a higher full house - 9s full of 5s beats 5s full of Aces.
kirk bowman
If Phil had pocket Aces then he would’ve won
For example
3 3 3 2 2 - 3’s full of 2’s beats
2 2 2 3 3 - 2’s full of 3’s
2nd hand. I tought there were 2 selbst 😂

I can’t even see Phil win a nutted hand. What will it take??
I am new to poker , so why is at 1:30 the triplet hand better than the Full house?
Isnt it usually the other way around?
tanyel klein because he had 9 9 9 5 5 Full House, so his tripple 9 is higher then tripple 5 - so better Full House
tanyel klein he has 9s full house cause the board is paired
Hi
One question
Any time can leave table or must stay until take all money
Why does Hellmuth always make the pots so big, he sets himself up for this
Because that is how you win big pots....by making big pots. Do you know how many champions bracelets e owns?
Got them when people didn’t have a clue , i haven’t seen Phil do well for a long time , he’s turned himself into a franchise and that’s all he cares about.
pop9095 he flopped a full house, why wouldn’t he want the pot to be big lol
You can look at Schwartz's demeanor and tell he doesn't feel good about his hand... lol

Poker dictionary
Epic = Phil Hellmuth cant lose
And epic is a common word.
The first play, Who win?
999&55 win😅
Black wins because since they both have a full house, the player with the best 3 of a kind wins. Black had 99955, Helmuth had AA555.
joel sullca must have been Helmuth because Ace high...
A full house (Boat) is ranked according to trips first, followed by the pair.
Phil , fullhouse AA555
oh my......!!!!! At 9:15 who is that beautiful girl behind Patric antonius?????
Is it against the rules to play with a full burka on and sun glasses over the small slit?
