I agree, Bob Odenkirk is great. And I think the term "one of the GOATs of tv drama 21st century" is funny, if you think about what "GOAT" actually means.
Generally I dgaf about awards shows but it's absolutely insane Rhea Seehorn hasn't gotten an Emmy nomination. Her and Keri Russell in the Americans are the two best actress performances of the past decade.
Agreed...she's sitting there talking about Mr. Odenkirk and I'm like "This is like Ali saying Tyson is a better boxer than him". She is simply amazing.
I agree. I was kinda weirded out when she was on Colbert recently using what I assume is her regular speaking voice - much lighter, higher pitched, and more relaxed.
Odenkirk has been making us laugh for decades, wether you are aware of it or not. He’s been putting in work for a long time. No one deserves this more.
These two are great actors and appear to be really genuine good people and friends. Love Better Call Saul and wish it could go on for a longer time! Wishing them the best of everything along with their families and cast and entire production crew.
Mr Odenkirk is for me one of the best, if not the best actor of our day. I find his acting to be extremely entertaining, while retaining an enigmatic sense within his performances. He has an aura of intrigue and gravitas, just a highly entertaining man. I wish there was more of him to watch, where he is the lead character. Well done sir and thank you for all that you do.
I envision a seperate spin-off. Kim McGill Public Defender. We already saw the backlog of files in that one episode in season 5. What will she do? how about resolve things from all the side characters? for instance: Walter wanted to make sure his family was taken care of. Los Pollos Hermanos as a franchise was busted as a front for meth distribution. The one franchise that Gus was seen to manage might have been "headquarters". Stands to reason that property would have been siezed by Hank and the DEA right? So...Kim swoops in, and voila, Walters son and wife now own and manage a Los pollos franchise of..2 or 3 restaurants? not bad. Jesse's parents set up a trust? Kim has banking experience. Kim discovers some lascivious background with Jesse's ex-dead-Girlfriend and her "Q" dad? How about our man Huel?!? maybe he could be "Hawk" in "spencer for hire" to Kim but in a Better call Saul way. I'm thinking something reminiscent of the Song "On the side of angels" from the musical 'Fiorello" - where we the viewers understand the people of new mexico understand this about kim - *sings* "Sure, they say you're very smart but more than that, they say you got a heart just like the angels! (like the angels!)"
That one scene in Better Call Saul S6E11 where Rhea (Kim Wexler) bursts into crying while on the bus was phenomenal! That looked so real and shows how talented she is!
I have always been able to separate actors from the characters they play. Always. And with these two, I just cant do it. That's a compliment. I care about them so much and I can't separate. I mean talk about pulling an audience into an imaginary world that feels so real. I can't compliment enough.
Rhea made one of the best speeches ever on the Walk of Fame. Plus you could tell she meant it Not just blowing smoke, like most. I was glad I went that day. Shocked to see Carol Burnett there not knowing she would play a pivotal role months later.
Not gonna lie, before Breaking Bad and then Better Call Saul i had never heard of this guy. But now i cant get enough of him. He truly deserves all the praise and adoration and most importantly recognition that's coming his way.
To think a comic relief could turn into a nuanced, tragic and morally complex character, with a level of acting rarely seen on TV, is nothing short of a triumph. Glad to see two masters of their craft in this event. Bob deserved it and Rhea's words are unmatched.

I've had the part of occasionally get immersed in the day to day life of a young family and I can tell you this: The parents are living in the King's castle. Guess who are the servants.
Rhea Seehorn is such a classy person. I finished watching BCS last night and as much as I understand that all good things must eventually come to an end, I will miss her and Bob and the rest of the cast very much. Bob deserves a star, but so does Rhea.
To me the word genius equates to hard work and talent (high intelligence or high creativity) and I feel that Bob Odernick has both. Whenever a co-star speaks about him his hard work ethic and high creativity are brought up.
