i can confirm this 100% i have been suffering from severe anxiety for 10 years. 6 years of this i had the severest insomnia one can imagine. My panic attacks lasted for days without stopping...when they stopped then only for some minutes until they came back. The only thing that helped me overcome this nightmare was to invite the panic with utter acceptance and let it do whatever it does. by welcoming it it became less and less...it is possible to overcome this. The result of this journey for me was a very softened heart and compassion for all beings.

I love how the true practices and traditions all have their own way of boiling down to the universal truth: we are the loving awareness aka universal consciousness watching all of these "objects" of consciousness. Everything we take in through the senses is not us, but something we're noticing. A tip that I contemplate often is this: if it's not permanent and is fleeting, it is something I'm watching and not who I am and thus is not where sat-chit-Ananda lies. We are perfect soul, or as the Buddhist say the golden buddha covered in mud and nothing can take that away from us. Paramhansa Yogananda has taught me so much about this truth. Christ said this perfectly: To the one who is victorious (overcomes the world of senses), I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne." The throne being the seat of consciousness.
Many are expert but aren't able to explain it. Mingyur Rinpocheji is one of the people who can explain it in the simplest words. And I love his childlike manner.

Yes, the host is beautiful. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. In Pidhauli (Vaishali) the local deity is Bardiha Baba. Bardiha means the Baba who didn't allow us to stay where he was staying. Bardiha Baba is the Buddha no doubt because he didn't allow the crowd of Lichavies to stay with him in Bandagama. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to Buddhists.

Yes, every body has his own base line, due to his Sankhara, feelings, thoughts, belief and actions he do. I.e. Level of Consciousness, or awareness, hence we find so many people of different thoughts and their nature.. though we look similar..!
It is important to renounce the world for enlightenment because in family life we are attached to material things, relationship etc and these attachments stop us to enjoy mental and physical freedom fully.
It is absolutely untrue that you have to renounce family life or anything else. Being enlightened myself, I know this to be true. The outward life has nothing to do with spirituality. You change inwardly, not outwardly. All you have to do is to see life as it actually is, to see what awareness truly is. In fact it is to see what is right in front of our nose, what has always been there. Our rfeaal nature is very subtle and abstract; we only need to see that. There is no such a thing that spiritual and mundane lives are separate. Everything is whole. Even death and life are together inseparable. So most of my Indian friends are mixing the things with each other. They think they have to give up so much from their mundane lives and turn into a yogi. This is not right. This brings chaos into the society. If everyone is after God who will take care of the cities, education, health, handwork, environmental issues, helping the needful ones? As the master says there are many ways to achieve enlightment. Why cannot be someone a dentist or a tailor and still get enlightment? By the way the monks are supported either by government funds or donations of working people or both. So if everyone is a monk who will pay for them? Thanks for the upload. It was great interview 🙏💝
Awareness : Love & Compassion : Wisdom to know our true and real nature is enlightenment itself. So, our primary essential purpose for inner happiness and external success is to become this! Be good : Do good! ❤🎉❤
The biggest problem is, In India there are lot of stigma and lack of awareness around mental health issues the only reason people recovery and suffering goes for longer time due to this...and So nobody give importance to meditation Practices, Self Journaling, affirmation and taking therapy in early Stages of experiencing Anxiety or depression but we need to do more of this. 💯✍️

I just wanted to impart this information to Rinpoch because I hope one day he will preach in these places.

‘’All my spare time I would spend my time looking at myself and this brought an end to my mind. In the stillness of the mind i saw myself as I AM. I AM is the goal, the final reality, to hold on to it is contemplation, when spontaneous and natural that is self realization“ Sti Nisargadutta Maharaj & Sri Ramana Maharshi.
