THANK YOU Joker!!!! Great video!! My only complaint with the game was the save feature. I get what they were going for with the save function but as a father of a one year old, I cant exactly dedicate as much time as the game would require to play the way the dev wanted.
Exactly! The save state should be defacto standard feature in all games these days!
I just recently got into this game and wanted to add some simple improvements. If the way Joker shows doesnt work you have to make a mod folder and put the mods in that and they all start working.
holy shit that performance mod worked a treat for me, it took out all hitching and stuttering when panning the camera, actually cant believe how well that worked... 8700k and 1080ti here.

tbh i wont be using it. I prefer it without as it makes you think twice about what actions you are taking and how it may impact you like dying . With constant saving you dont have that and as such takes actions as it wont matter anyway.
if youre running older equipment.. I found that just turning the shadows to MED and the shader complexity down to Very High.. youll do well. I haver a 4790k and a 1070... I get 60FPS on ultra with those two things tuned down almost all the time. Some parts of some cities still talk FPS hardstyle but thats what i use and its good

For some reason, PCGW took off the heapsize setting for this game and I actually just had to copy what you had Joker. Also, installing mods like these were prepatch 1.3. Now you have to have a Mods folder and you gotta have a mods.manifest file. Not sure how to even start with that.

Nothing's happening for me at all. I have devmode on, I've put the mod into the data folder, and when I type in "cheat_" nothing, I've even copied and pasted things from the page into the console, and it didn't work. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I just tried, its on 1.9.5 version now so it doesn't work, it worked on 1.9.4

I wish I knew kingdom come had mods when I started because I thieved the entire town of Rattay feeling like hot shit. Then get caught by a guard for apparently killing someone, have to go to jail and can't pay him, load my last save and find I'm loaded at the very first house I robbed.
They removed the last mod (memory allocation) from the wiki.

That saving system pisses me off about that game, there was a time when i was doing 2hrs worth of stuff and i got ambushed by cumins, died, and then realized the last auto save was 2hrs before, i was livid...can u use nexus mod manager for copying the mods in or does it not have support for that yet?
I want to improve my FPS but when I open the properties on my shortcut the only things that appear are; General, Web document, Security, Details and previous versions. Im not exactly sure how im supposed to add the target XD can someone help?

well that's really annoying hahah and cheat engine doesn't seem to be working either i used to use it to modify my carry weight but its not doing anything as of now

@@qwite9309 I also found it's compatible with nexus and it's system vortex. You just need to fullscan since quickscan only scans steamapps

my pc texts are in finnish and i have windows 7 and i cannot extract files for some nice reason. WHY DO NEXUS MOD DOWNLOADING HAVE TO BE SO COMPLICATED. vortex says the mod is downloaded and in use but it does nothing.

check the file changed to a cfg file and not stayed as a txt file if it has google how to change it thats the best way
Post the User.cfg file here "Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance" Not in the Bin file. Worked for me at least

I thought the user.cfg file should be in the root folder of the game? It also says so in the mod description for the arrow rectile mod?

right click kcd shortcut --> properties --> add " +exec user.cfg " to target line ---> apply

So I downloaded kingdom come deliverance off the Xbox app because it was free. I can’t find a folder for it though, so is there anyway I can download it onto there without buying the actual game. Is there some kinda Xbox app folder or something? I eventually made the game a desktop shortcut so I could try to access the file of it, but I can’t get into the data folder.

Is this game have already mods like - Extended View Distance (Witcher 3), Darker Nights and Immersive Detection of NPC (Skyrim), Insane Rain and Realistic Weapon Damage (GTAV)?? Something to delete white glaukoma filter, extra bloomy and simply kill virtual people from meat with metal objects or it is still a buggy spongefog simulator??

To sum things up I love nuts You cannot download mods from Xbox game pass as it is against Xbox’s policy. You would have to buy it on steam

Don't put the cfg file in the Bin folder. Save it in the Main directory. "Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance" Bow Dot mod works for me now

Why do certain mods cause my game to crash?
The "increase fps" part is not shown anymore on the wiki page. Any idea why it was removed? Isnt it save to use?

I read in a reddit thread that this option is nothing more then "snake oil", because it is an option from the source engine, and has nothing to do with the CryEngine at all.
so you can ignore that "optimization" completely, IMHO.

I'm waiting for balance mods.. This game gets way too easy at a certain point, and I'm going to hold off playing until they're out. Not sure why you would want a reticle for the bow.. Landing arrows without it is one of the most rewarding things about the game imo!

I have 12GB of ram........ what would it be fore me to get the fps increase? I have 12GB of ram cause I have an older CPU, its a i7 960 Bloomfield so my motherboard has 12GB atm. oh and just saying that this old CPU still holds up today even with this game paired with my GTX 980 as the CPU usage only hits about 50% average during this game.
Your CPU hits 50% because it's fully utilizing all the physical cores. In other words, taking all the available juice out of your CPU. Time to upgrade.
MadFinnTech - hmmm not sure about that as I have a gadget on my second monitor that shows % of what each core is being used as well as a overall total. The other thing is that I monitor my gpu usage and in most games it’s hitting 99% that indicates to me there is no bottleneck as the gpu is working at its max. If I’m wrong please explain in detail what I’m missing cause I’m under the impression that if the cpu isn’t hitting 100% on any of the cores then it’s doing fine and if the gpu is hitting near 100% then that also shows there is no problems.
unfortunately that is a older card. It also depends on your cpu chipset. you need a certain gigahertz range to be able to run a cpu with out bottle necking and loosing resources.

I don't know how I feel about the unlimited save MOD. On one hand it's convenient, but on the other, it kinda ruins the developer's vision for the game, and makes it like any other game where you can just exploit the hell out of it, and makes the game less risky.
Then don't use it. Some of us, on the other hand, want to able to save anywhere anytime as many times as we want.

I finally had enough of the howling from that fucking Mutt. What a stupid design decision. I'm stuck inside during this pandemic, and my neighbor's little yippie dog will NOT stop its whiney barking all day...compounding that supreme annoyance with Mutt's howling was pushing me to the edge.
