You would need like a full caravan legion and operating munition and farms on every settlement to get that armor set
Not really, if you just pick up most loot from locations and battles and sell it you'll make decent money, without ever doing the settlements I've had upwards of 30,000 caps because i almost never buy weapons or armor and just scavenge for it and use caps for healing items and stuff

@@thomasmolyneaux3700 Honestly. I was curious and got the Settlement creation club for I think it's called the Settlement defense, from the Creation Club. By far the best one ob that stupid market.
Anyways it allows me to send signals for my bases to get attacked. Meaning selling more loot.
And it's great for survival cause you don't even need to be there anymore when a settlement is attacked. Just plop a camera and your settlers will take care of the rest.
Farms would take much much longer. Just farm a few different locations and you should be able to build up the caps in Just a few in game days. You need beer, Grape mentats, make sure your inventory is empty other than what you need to fight and load up your partner. Pro tip: if you use the search chest command on partner, they can hold infinite weight. I've had Nick holding over 1400 wt on a farm run. Just place all your stuff in a random chest and repeatedly use the grab that search command

You can throw bowling balls by the way. Just pick it up by holding A and hold X to charge your throw. Then release to throw.
Splatter cannon from the nuka world dlc is pretty expensive not as expensive of the armor but it's still pretty expensive
Far harbour is my favourite! I love the fog and the whole island! I always get the full set and it really helps for the rest of the game
but that recon marine armor has the unmatched drip of a thousand pimps

You will need to complete the quest The Grand Tour in Nuka World and then the next time you return to Nuka-Town a new side quest called Amoral Combat will pop up. Where you will fight a challenger in the Cola-cards arena. Its repeatable and the first 6 six challengers are all unique enemies. The 6th challenger is called The Rogue Knight, and he drops Aeturnus after defeating him.

If I remember right, the Marine Armor also has a visual bug that makes it more black than it's supposed to be. One of the mods listed in The Midnight Ride modding guide I was using had a before/after picture on the Nexus page for it and it was definitely more blue in the after.

@@UraniumFever76 All you have to do is wait several days of making water while sleeping. Then make poison barbs. Easy money. Rex stores all the barbs in his inventory and I carry the water bottles cause I may need it for health. They are easier to acquire than stimpacks and basically heal the same amount of you're wearing power armor. Nothing is expensive if you have patience

I found the marine armor in a crate under water during a quest for Dimas science geek
There are two variants. There is the simple one that you can find in undersea crates after dima’s memories and then there are the unique legendary variants you can buy at specific vendors in the dlc. I forgot all about the legendary ones so now I have a new goal
Edit: just one thing. There is no unique pieces for the legs. There is one mission which when you complete it gives u a random piece of the marine armor called atom’s bulwark. I sadly got this as a chest plate but apparently you can get it as a left leg or right leg

I spent about 5 hours grinding for that gun, the ability to 5 shot swan is pretty neat though.
@@CheeseConsumer Playing as a low-charisma character is especially tough, so I max my charisma right from the beginning. Saves a ton of time, effort... and caps (:
(in case you didn't get it, charisma allows you to get the same rifle for free from Mason. Though this one comes with stock mods, whilst the Splattercannon is packed with a set of really decent mods and it takes ages to get all perks to upgrade handmade rifles by yourself).
In Cliffs Edge Hotel you can go check the terminal in a hallway and it says a room costs over $120,000 lol.

The Marine armor is the most expensive item in the game as buying all three legendary pieces I believe will cost you around 50k caps as the helmet is 25-30k caps and both arms are 10-15k each but you can get a set of non legendary marine armor excluding the helmet for 1800 caps including the wetsuit from the children of atom and it resets every time you travel back and forth between Far Harbor and the Commonwealth so you can get multiple pieces and outfit your settlers with Marine armor and handmade rifles
I have full lgendary and normal set, but interesting fact, now u really can create a good looking armor

Easy way for money just make 70 of those huge water purifiers at spectacle island and just grab like 1200 of the purified water and fast travel and sell. With the perk that lets you fast travel overencumbered

The Most expensive and most lightweight material is nuclear material. weighing just as much as silver but having twice the price effectively the same price as gold but gold is 3 times heavier. so it's more efficient to carry silver but it is the most efficient to carry nuclear material. you can even use it as a currency for everyone who like to duplicate materials it is the most efficient.
Fallout 4 vendors are fucking ridiculous. All these legendaries locked behind 15-25k that arent even useful by the time youve progressed enough. Game was lazy as fuck in more places than just that too. Loved it on release because i was still a kid, came back to replay once i had grown up a bit and the issues were staring me in the face.
I've replayed it alot, I enjoy it inspite of its issues but I get what your saying
@cyrinainskeep395 I'm ngl as a life long fallout fan, someone who played this game from pre order, has replayed it around 6 or 7 times, played all dlc and all endings, gotten like 85/90% of all achievements, I can honestly say this game is absolutely the worst fallout game and is lazy on so many levels I'd be sat here talking about it all day. Bethesda seriously dropped the ball and they're going to do the same for es6 and fallout 5. When it happens you can come back to this comment and congratulate me on being right 😂

You can actually throw items in fallout. If you’re on PlayStation just hold the X button on the item to pick it up then hold square and release and you’ve thrown any item that you’ve picked up

Best looking, I think, is the heavy combat armor but with the auto-stim sturdy (or was it even light, can't remember) chest piece and the synth field helmet.
But I do like the heavy synth armor, too. Combined with the wetsuit underneath. But some say it looks like made out of toilet paper rolls 😂.

I am the Marsh Water Company. I run purified water farms. I have all the expensive stuff. Warning do not decorate your Diamond city house with the gilded grasshopper. The game swiped it. Later I found it back on the roof. I really liked it for decor. The game swiped that recorder from the crashed plane near ten pines, too.
I just do the infinite caps glitch (buying the 3k weapon stands then scrap/storing them ..rinse and repeat) but yeah was surprised to see the fkn chest piece, for an armor that I already have that same effect on, cost 15k .. yea, mine was only 15k I dunno where this dude got 25 from

I’ve been playing for like 4-5 days and I have about 30k caps saved up and 9 power armor suits first play through
If you want to buy all this crap, a really easily make a fuck ton of bear traps. If you have Max charisma, they go for a round 60-50. And they are fucking great really easy to make. They also give you a lot of XP if you’re early levels.
I spent so long getting that damned armour. I ended up glitching for caps. Then duped it for display. I wear the entire set minus the helmet bc my ballistic weave 5 battered fedora is way better lol. I also wear ballistic weave 5 army grieves and i have all of the armour perks..... I am like level 215.....
Before i heard the fallout 4 part i immediately thought of new vegas and how even with my high charisma and discount perks i was still paying over 57,000 caps for the weapon from the gun runners

You can actually bowl... Kind of.. if your strength is high enough you'll be able to pick up the bowling balls and if you click on the joystick for 4seconds it'll shake and you can throw them

It’s only hard if you never put a point into luck or charisma. 100 Gs in caps isn’t that hard to acquire in vanilla if you know what to look for. Passively selling guns and armor you don’t need as well as a water farm will get you tens of thousands of caps
Actually if you have either charisma or int maxed you can get the big boy much cheaper as long as you wait to save for the full amt on the first time you talk to arturo. Got mine for 10 caps under 7k. Dont remember which stat affects barter tho charisma or intelligence

For the recon marine chest piece, does the higher damage threshold take effect if you’re actively ADS with a rifle, so long as you & your camera stay still?
