  • Thanks for checking out my tutorial on how to crochet the perfect knit look-a-like ribbing!
    I absolutely LOVE this ribbing. It's got a straight edge, doesn't curl in on itself, and you don't have to spend time counting stitches. It's also very elastic and really beautiful!
    You CAN use ANY yarn size for this type of ribbing
    Materials I used:
    Crochet Hook size 3.5mm
    Hobbii Acacia Yarn | color: Ecru | weight: 3, Light | 51% acrylic, 49% cotton
    Scissors
    Tapestry Needle
    If you make this ribbing for your crochet project, I would LOVE to see it. You can contact me by DM on Instagram @Totally_Stitchcraft

    How do you go about connecting it? The usual or is it different?

    • @Totally_Stitchcraft
      @Totally_Stitchcraft  Год назад

      Just the usual, you can use a slip stitch along the side or seam using a tapestry needle

    Is it possible to crochet ribbing with fluffy yarn ? Will it be too loose after some time ?I think it’s already loose enough but I’m just a little curious

    • @Totally_Stitchcraft
      @Totally_Stitchcraft  2 года назад

      It is sort of possible, but you will lose the effect of "ribbing" with so much fluff - i.e. you lose stitch definition. It won't get loose over time, but it may not turn out how you imagine it

    I hardly keep mine straight. Keep on loosing stitches along the way.
