Nick's mum is also to blame for keeping secrets. Every child deserves to know who his father is. She is also contributing to an extent towards his behaviour.

Personally, i think nick and his mum really need that talk, but it couldn't happen until he acknowledged where his anger and pain stemed from. I say this because my 18 year old son has had his moments in life where he has tried to find some kind of connection to someone he never knew. When i was pregnant, my sons biological father was killed. I can understand nick having so many questions and feeling like he carries the blame, as i went through that with my son. Once they can have that heart to heart conversation, they will see that the light at the end of the tunnel can be brighter.
