this actually seems like a good family to go to. not throwing away or trashing things, just taking them away for the time being, never yelling or saying super harsh degrading things as soon as the kids start to act up. they weren't perfect by any means, but loads better than other families that straight up made the teens do things like child labor, or physical punishment/screaming and yelling.

This show isnt about strict parents. Its about the abusive lazy, spoiled parents who let their kids become scumbag leeches. The "strict" patents in the show are just normal, civilized people.

I dont think this family was necessarily strict per say. They were reasonable with expectations and house rules. Honestly, my parents had very similar rules when i was growing up
