This was such a well thought out, interesting and in-depth review! I love your analogies and how you make skincare tech accessible to everyone 🤓 Definitely adding this to my Christmas list, and I'll do Santa a favour by including your code 😝
Thankyou! This means ALOT - to anyone reading this comment and reply, this came from the OG and Currentbody Pro herself! (So if I could star a comment I would 🫶🏼❤️)
My first time trying this depth so it seems to tick off a lot! So glad they included it and making it more mainstream and accessible👏🏼 thankyou for watching your a pro on these things
I'd love to know your thoughts on the Maysama LED mask. It also has a submental flap to address the chin area. In addition it has pulsating light which apparently enhances efficacy. Interesting unit, but not sure how it stacks up to the CB MkII.
Hello! I took a Quick Look, and the mask you mention has only NIR but adds magenta which is mix of blue red, as this mask from CB is focussed more on collagen synthesis and rejuvenating, it’s in its own lane due to this. As I said in the video the deep NIR Is the nice to have and gold standard i’d recommend to ensure it’s getting deep enough to stimulate collagen - I hope this helps
I was considering this mask until I read or heard somewhere that NIR can trigger malasma as there is some heat that is generated from it. Is that of concern? Or should I simply purchase only LED?
Totally valid concern! But as it’s used so widespread in the industry and because of the benefits of NIR I would still see this as offering more benefits over any risk, that being said it depends how sensitive your skin is but I’ve noticed no increases in pigmentation since using it. When we go into getting a device with a concern id always take a while to think it though as everyone’s skin and needs is different, but the saving grace with this mask is the outputs and bulbs are tested and consistent, something that other brands don’t readily prove - hope this helps ❤️
Yes I started recording things for the next review, but I’ll be mindful of your time and not tease or cliffhanger 😂 I got 10 treatments - and this is more than enough, I wasn’t expecting it to last this long! 4 I’d have been content - thanks for watching and your lovely compliment
My CurrentBody mask stopped charging. I saved it for traveling and hardly used it. The company was not helpful. Do you know another company that has LED 1072? I would never buy from that company again. Thank you. Reply
Hello! Firstly persist with help if this is an issue they are at fault for, and I can understand why you’d want to look elsewhere - I took a look and nothing anywhere near the price range or available consumer level I’d trust - having the clinical and veritas behind any device is a huge deal of approval - so many brands sadly don’t follow this up and rely on customer perception or before and afters - hope this helps ❤️
Is it only Current Body that have this tech? I so love using my LED mask though it does need upgraded. Was a cheapy Peppy skin, but I still think it helps some? I simply cannot afford this price. Please, are there any similar options on the market that I could afford to purchase? Just found your channel by chance. Have subbed and look forward to viewing more content! Blessings from Australia. xx
Hello 🫶🏼 Thankyou firstly, and honestly speaking I’ve only seen other masks use the NIR around this price point, the deep NIR is what really excites me with this one, I know cost is a massive contender and it is for me for so many things, though for this level of tech and the fact they can provide proof of how effective each bulb is, they could have listed this for 50% more and still been in line with market trends - I can only recommend looking at only NIR if you wanted to save a bit more, wait for Black Friday (and maybe see if a discount code works on top?) or with a discount code alone etc - hope this helps and I love at home treatments or things for wellbeing so I don’t need to book for treatments ❤️
P.s Also the LED can definitely help some, so that’s a win! I’ve noticed there’s so many differences between brands so from years of seeing and working with this tech, for a real reassured benefit I’d say only devices with NIR and Deep NIR can give you results you’d expect more from salons etc
@@StillInLuck Thank you for your very kind and informative reply. Things cost so much more over here due to the exchange rate-I am really excited with this tech though. Your Black Friday plus discount code is a fab suggestion. If it works, I may just bite the bullet. Thanks again, mate, Your response and advice is greatly appreciated. x
That’s a real shame to hear re pricing but hope my advice can help save or atleast if spending - making the right choice! No problem at all and welcome to the channel - I film a lot about a lot 😂🫶🏼

I love that it addresses the under chin area. I’m adding it do my birthday/xmas list
Really unique addition that didn’t need to be there but so great that it does - actually fits around the face
Does the company tell you what the irradiance range of this mask is? Thank you.
No problem it’s 30 mw/cm2 - thanks for watching too and hope you enjoyed 🫶🏼
@ thank you.
Great review! Have you tested now how many minutes you get per charge?
