Beautiful shots and beautiful gliders, the JS3 is amazing. Also very nice to see that manufacturers are switching to electric engines so we finally have a replacement to the current unreliable combustion engines.
Thank you! Yes, agree with the electric propulsion. We had 4 land outs of gliders with sustainer and self-launch engines, only at the SA nationals. That's really a bad statistic. Let's hope the electric systems are more reliable.
@@SteFly Wow, I knew they were unreliable, but didn’t think this unreliable!
I had the most down time in my 3000hours of flying self launchers the 2 weeks I flew an Antares23E. First the hydraulic broke down and the engine would not retract any more, then a balancer in the wing failed. Sometimes (Namibia) the system would not let me start because of temperature.
This type of flying is amazing! Had a chance to go up with a friend in Switzerland 41 years ago. Was the best experience of my life. Be safe and thanks for the video.

Sehr schöne Bilder, der Sonnenuntergang klasse. Frage: Müssen segler nicht auch nach Sonnenuntergang ein Anti collision light einschalten? Bei einem E- Segler ist dafür immer noch genug Energie in der Batterie.🤔🇫🇷
Nicht dass ich wüsste. In Europa dürfen Segelflugzeuge bis zum Ende der bürgerlichen Dämmerung fliegen ohne eine Beleuchtung.
@@SteFly Danke Stefan, in USA müssen alle ,auch UL , PPG , Gleitschirme etc. Nach Sunset ein ACL einschalten . Für 30min kein Problem, dank Duracell😊🇫🇷
