Many landlords are very intrusive. They come in our apartments when no one is home. Good to see you again. I was a new follower and then you disappeared. Hope you find a place soon. Keep your positive attitude.
Martin, thank you for the follow up. I love your positive grateful attitude. Something is going to work out and I think not rushing to get a place until you feel it is a comfortable safe environment is the best idea. Please keep us posted. I wish you the best ❤
You can actually use your vehicle as a camper. I did it before signing a new lease. OR just camp full time and get a gym membership that offers shower. You can gain financially in the long run. If you sign up for library card it would keep you occupied. Good luck!
Yes I've looked into sleeping in the vehicle. It doesn't look hard and people even make it seem like it's pretty fun and easy. However I know it's all fun and game until it gets dark and I have to do it for real.
@@hiitsmartin if you live in cold areas ,cars get cold at night.be careful. Try asking a church to see if they would let you park at night, sometimes they give free gas cards or have resources for other places
Living in your car isn't becoming more normal because housing has become more expensive. Living in your car has become more normal because people can't depend on their family like they used to be able to. If you didn't have a place to stay, 20-30 years ago, 9 times out of 10, you could rely on a family member or friend to let you live with them until you were able to get back on your feet. These days a lot of so-called family members and friends will let you live on the streets before they let you live with them.
Now that fall is almost here and the temperatures are cooling down, car camping can certainly save you some money for a couple of months, if your car can accommodate you for sleeping comfortably. If you know people who would let you park in their driveway or back yard and not care, it would also let you feel that you were in familiar surroundings. For people who have never had to be in their cars, it can be a bit scary to wake up in a Walmart parking lot. If you finances are stretched, you may want to consider it. Even for a few days, it will give you an idea about whether that "lifestyle" is for you. Many choose it because they love it, if they have the right vehicle. I find the whole idea of car camping very interesting and I watch videos of others who do it.
I slept in my car for about a month several years ago, usually parked in Walmart parking lots. It was not pleasant for me lol. I had a 24 hr gym membership so that's where i showered and went to the bathroom. Having to pee in the middle of the night or early morning sucked. Especially as a female 😂 I also didn't have window tint and the brightness of the street lights made it hard to sleep. I remember being woken up a couple nights by the street sweeper that was going around the lot, very close to my car. It was so loud!
What will you do if you cant find shelter/a place, within 2 days? Depending on how populated your city is and availability of housing, 2 days is very very short turnaround to get a place to live.
Landlords are leeches. Housing should be subsidized by the government and the rent should be tax-exempt. The government can employ property managers to inspect the properties if maintenance is an issue. You have a strong mindset. Keep pushing.

Thank you! I realize that there are people who watch all my videos and I need to keep posting.

Our landlord does not have -- nor does he expect to have -- a key to our apartment. This was a surprise, and I am so glad.

Landlords from hell. Sounds like a Netflix special.
Hi Martin, you have a car and can have some place to sleep. Watch videos on how to do it temporarily. I would not tell your landlord anything.

It's how you spin things to people. If you like how you live, no one can say anything if you are happy
