Thank you for your wonderful videos. I would love to see some outfits that "stand on their own" and don't need the visual support of a handbag. A number of us work or volunteer and do so without a handbag which "completes" a look. Occasions needing a handbag aren't the focus of our outfits. Thank you.

The US brand WHITE HOUSE BLACK MARKET used to sell exclusively black and white clothing. LOTS of white tops, sweaters, blazer etc. In the dressing room were baskets on the wall that held hair nets. They were constructed of a sheer net material in the shape of a shower cap, with elastic edge. They were disposable, reusable and of course inexpensive. Anyway, you were encouraged to cover your face of makeup with them as you tried on their clothes. It worked so well. You could see through the sheer netting, and often wouldn't need to take it off as you could recognize the clothes were a winner or not instantly. Then the brand branched out into colors and I never saw the face covers return. SO BRILLIANT. ~ If you don't have a silk scarf do consider a shower cap/ hair net. THANKS Ellena!

Ellena, I found your channel by accident, then watched every one. I have probably watched a few twice. In my previous career choice, I graduated for Color, Line, and Design with retail management. You started mentioning "old masters," color theory, and I immediately thought of my younger years. My color wheel was flashing!! You brought a big smile to my face and I went "clothes mining", as my husband says. My collections over the years came to life again. Thank you for the inspiration. I am a recently retired ER nurse. I can't wait for the next video. Scarves would be a good one. Showing it as a scarf shawl, or belt hacks. I did subscribe!!❤

Ellena you are a gem. I have just discovered your channel and I am in love. Please help with cashmere how to maintain it. I usually dry clean them or use special program/special cashmere shampoo for the cashmere that can be washed in the washing machine. A few years back I bought a 800 dollar Bally cashmere turtleneck and washed it in the special program in the washing machine but it came out a few centimeters tighter and smaller. It hurts me when I see how it turned out. Any hack how to extend it back to its original shape/unshrink it without ruining it? Please help...!

Dear Ellena! I'm not the kind of "commenting below videos and being a fan" person, but I just want to say HUGE THANKS AND CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!!! I've found your channel last week and I really, truly LOVE YOUR videos, your professionalism and your personality!!! Finally somebody who wears colours, who have strong energy and what I like the most, you are a friendly, easyminded and "how-ot-look-rich-without-robbing-the-bank" kind of stylist, with a superelegant style - fine mixture of modern minimalist but colourful feminine, with a hint of masculinity and with a bunch of "this is who I am" :D. My stlye is just like that and I'm also a kind of think outside of the box person when I'm choosing my clothes, but watching your fresh, glamourous videos you gave me sooo many good ideas (e.g. previously I was searching for loose-fit pieces in my normal size, but it was quite a new thing for me to check the one size bigger clothes instead. I could continue how many good ideas you show us in your videos, but time would be tooooooo short to list all of them. :) Your style, your energy and your funny personality combo made your channel an "OUTSTANDING LOVEBRAND ON THE TOP-TOP OF THE OTHERS" for me and I can't wait to see new videos from you in the future!!! I just want to THANK YOU again and I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND SUCCESS IN YOUR LIFE! Make the World more more stylish and colourful!!! :)

Very useful video - I love learning the hacks I probably should have learned years ago, but I was too busy hiking and camping to care about fashion. And now I have no clue how some people manage to look so polished. And yes, a clothing care video would be much appreciated. I've always just thrown things in the wash after wearing them. If you aren't supposed to wash them every time, how do you handle odor, cat hair, and the occasional food stain??

I'm 72. My grandma used that scarf hack all the time! And my mom did, too! They were both impeccable dressers.
Will that hairspray hack also work on the shirt collars of button up shirts?
    Thanks!

I would like to know this too - as well as whether the hairspray can be used on all types of fabric or can it do damage?

I love the hairspray trick I’ll give it a try on my cotton turtlenecks - but I would be terrified to do that on my $300 - $400 cashmere, sweaters and turtlenecks.
I’d like to know do you really spray your cashmere sweaters with hairspray. I’d like to know what type of hairspray one could use or not use? For instance, I have a very strong hairspray and I think I should get a cheaper hairspray that just does a light spray. Can you talk more about that?
I just discovered you I love your channel!!!

Fantastic video. Some of these tips I already know and use, but I learned some new ones! Thank you. A video on caring for our clothes would be great if you haven't already done one. I'm still working my way through your videos.

Hi Ellena I’ll wait for you to share more about summer dressing! Because my 365 days are very hot here, we really can’t wear cashmere and thick clothes here
