Love the tips! And please don’t talk slower like the annoying person keeps commenting. Your cadence is perfect and I appreciate you don’t blabber and waste time. Thank you!!
Hi autumn, I’ve been watching you for maybe 4 years now and I have been tempted to get your cookbook and other products but until now I couldn’t see myself using that many of your recipes because a lot of them were vegetarian. I’m glad to see recipes now with red meat because it’s an easy way to get in protein, which is hard to do and so critical for maintaining muscle with age (I’m 59). I’m impressed with your food choices and recipes and being a researcher by nature and trade, I’ve kept following you because of your fact based information, consistency and relatability (though I’m not your age or physique!!)
Love this video, especially the magnesium tip! I started taking the one you suggested in my sleep, and my husband sleep has improved tremendously highly recommend
I stumbled onto your account last week and have been incorporating many of your recommendations in an effort to balance my hormones. I am already noticing more stable blood sugar, less anxiety and better sleep. I don’t eat meat but am still able to make it work for me! I appreciate when you suggest plant based alternatives. Thank you!
I feel like between the full fat yogurts, cottage cheese, nuts and eggs (even egg whites), I’m eating a lot of fat. When I track macros, I’m over fat every time. I’m hoping this doesn’t hinder my progress
Great advice and tips. Thank you for the suggestion about adding protein powder to the oatmeal. I have not thought of that before. Thank you for sharing.
Autumn, I went to Shalhoob Funk Zone hoping to see you there last Sunday but you weren’t there! I tried the lettuce burger with the kale salad and coleslaw too.
I have a Q re point no.15 - Beef. You specifically mention ground beef! While beef is high in protein, a nutritionist once told me that it is low in iron content. What do you think??
Love this as always!! What is the coffee/expresso machine that you use? I have always wanted to get one and make my own, but the machines seem way to big for 1 person. Any recommendations?
Hi. Come on please can you tell me beside the cauliflower the jalapeños, the red onions, the red bell pepper and it looks like raisins can you tell me what else is on that dish you just showed that you’re putting in the oven it looks delicious what spices I would really appreciate it. I can hardly see and I’m 78 years old and I would love to know the whole recipe, thank you very much. I love your videos..
Which type of magnesium are you talking about? There seem to be different ones, i.e magnesium citrate, magnesium oxide, etc I found 10 different types listed in an article about magnesium.
Season meat. Sear meat. Sauté minced garlic, onion, celery, carrots and thyme. Add meat, tomato paste, beef stock (1 to 2 Cups) baby carrots, salt and pepper to taste- slow cook until tender. I use 6Q instant pot 20 minutes pressure cook - NPR. Remove lid. Cook on sauté mode until reducing liquid to desire thickness (5-10 minutes extra)
Really appreciate the contact! I’m trying to drop about 20 pounds after having my fifth baby. I had gestational diabetes this time, so I already had been moving more and more toward eating a lot of protein. I did wonder about eating so much beef if you tend to have high cholesterol. Or, just in general, I know recently there has been some thought that beef is related to an increase in cancer risk. I love beef, but my cholesterol results have been ticking up, even though I think I overall eat a pretty healthy diet, I am relatively young, and not overweight. Thoughts?
Dr. Ken Berry on youtube talks about this all the time on his shows. He's a great resource for that if your interested. I don't subscribe to straight carnivore yet but his wife niesha is a keto nurse and she is a great resource as well and has her own channel.
Just wondering something maybe someone can give advice. Where I live in the desert southwest it gets extremely hot in the summers. I don't feel like eating becuase the heat is awful. My question is would it be safe to consume only the smoothies or cotttage cheese bowls for my 2mad?
I have a couple of videos where I share what I ate during my pregnancy, like this video here: ruclips.net/video/K48qpvTzmBs/видео.htmlsi=0txi0lTIk6aZYvr0
Plant fats are generally healthier (and easier to digest) than animal fats, so why not get the low or no fat dairy/ meats and supplement it with plant fats. I understand that it is situational like you shouldn't cook with plant fats but why not add some EVOO to non-fat yogurt. This way you get the benefits of the healthier fat and the healthier protein.
I have a question Autumn, I have a picky teen and I’m trying to gradually transition their eating habits. What are your thoughts on adding stevia to the Skyr with some black and raspberries? Just trying really hard to get them on track but I need baby steps
Hi Lily! I'm sorry to hear you have a picky teen! Adding some fruit to Skyr is a great option, and instead of stevia, for extra sweetness you could try cooking down the berries first before adding to the yogurt. I share some tips in this blog post that may be helpful for you: www.autumnellenutrition.com/post/is-intermittent-fasting-good-for-teenagers
In one of her videos, she also mentions adding a little vanilla adds a little sweetness. Maybe that could help? I've also tried her idea with the frozen berries which has worked well. As the blueberries soften they release some juice and then it kind of looks like the store blueberry yogurt.
Confession time- sorry Autumn 😬😬😬 The LMNT video you used to have where you sit by the pool. You smile & casually open an LMNT sachet & pour it in your water bottle. I was always like pffft ….. she’s totally cut that sachet a bit, as I struggle to open sachets, giving up & using the scissors. Nek minute…… I see a teeny tiny line on the sachet, so I try tearing it there & Whaddya know? It tore open….. easily. 😬😬😬awks!
Why drink so much water? I would need to drink 3.5 pints a day . On top of tea/coffee? Is this for hot countries or globally? Need an explanation of the science.
Fish, chicken, pork, beans (many different options and ways here. Including chick pea pasta that is great in tofu chili!) , and chia is a good addition to granola bites. I also have been loving protein pancakes with oats. Oo, I also have been roasting chic peas for my salads. Pepitas (de shelled pumpkin seeds) dried berries, and other nuts can be added for extra protein. These are just some of the things I've found to help. Also, non dairy protein shakes with nuts and beef jerky is a nice post workout snack for me. Food aversion can be tough when trying to get new habits and food in order. Good luck!
Girl I love your content. So helpful and informative, but take a breath already. It's okay to have a period at the end of your sentences. Don't mean to offend, just thought you should know.

Automn videos, walking 3 days strength training per week& her eating approach helped me trimmed from 300 to 220 lb 12 months
2p0 more lbs to go 😀
Awesome!!! Congrats!
I suggest hearts of palm rice as a sub for regular rice. Tastes good and the texture is much more like rice than cauliflower rice.
Autumn cottage cheese bowl & her smoothies makes awesome breakfast
All great tips Autumn! I hadn’t thought of roasting riced cauliflower! 🙌🏼💗

Autumn, your channel is one of the best on nutrition I've come across. Love the content and knowledge. Love it!
When it comes to canned tuna, one that is low in mercury is skipjack tuna. Thanks Autumn :D.
All great tips to help achieve results. Thank you for having me in today’s video! I feel like a rockstar!!! 😎❤️🇨🇦
Get used to fame chick 😂
You are!!⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great tips here- thanks! Btw - I think the way you speak is great - wise words, high energy and so positive.
I found adding cottage cheese over scrambled eggs is really great (omelet style if my eggs stay together!

Is there a recipe for the roasted cauliflower rice? (Temp and time in the oven) This could be life changing, thank you!!

Regarding chewing is this why sometimes a smoothie is better?
Following up on this any tips on how to mentally transition to having a smoothie or bowl ?

Hi, Autumn. Where can I find the beef recipes you show? I've been eyeing that roast recipe for a few videos now. lol

What kind of watch do you have? (In tip 16 it showed it encouraging you to walk a number of steps, looks really helpful!)
I have an app on my regular I phone that tracks my steps. Not an apple or anything fancy. But it’s so helpful and motivating
I use the Fitbit Versa 4. You can check it out here: amzn.to/3LkUtBC

Is it possible to have a body recomp goal during pregnancy? Do you have a video of what you ate, how you exercised during your pregnancy?

If you have high blood pressure, is it safe to take electrolytes since they add sodium?
Your dog is so well behaved!! I was expecting him/her to eat your food when you laid on the grass!!
Hi is heavy whipping cream safe to use in coffee ?

How do you manage having to urinate ALL THE TIME when you drink the right amount of water?
I used to take magnesium. It makes me sick now.
Why drink so much water? I would need to drink 3.5 pints a day . On top of tea/coffee? Is this for hot countries or globally? Need an explanation of the science.
No tip on eating more fruits and vegetables, which are low-calorie high density foods?
I really need more protein but can’t do any dairy, egg whites or red meat.
Nuts
@@GraceKelly-ni5jp I do eat macadamia nuts and walnuts but they’re also high in fat so I only eat them once a day.
Tempeh, tofu, tvp, plant based protein powder, seitan, kite hill Greek yogurt, PB2 powder
@@twoodward5283 Unfortunately I can’t have any soy or peanuts. Thanks though.

What about people with high blood pressure can they drink that electrolyte?1000 mg of sodium in one serving 😮
Don’t need magnesium supplements if you eat plenty of fruits and vegetables :)

Autumn, stop speaking so fast in your videos SLOW DOWN!
Her speaking pace is fine. If you can’t keep up, playback at .75 speed might be more your pace.
She has addressed this already. And yes, you can change the speed!
I like it! I hate slow videos! Get to the point haha
She doesnt talk too fast...she is clear and gets straight to the point...i dont have patience to watch super long videos by people to who talk slow
This is so tiresome, if you can’t keep up please move on
