My doctor couldn’t believe our weight loss and huge improvements in lab work. They asked what was I doing, I said I follow Autumn Elle Nutrition duh you’ve been life changing. Hubby no longer needs cardiac rx, my cholesterol & triglycerides are great after yrs of struggle. Thank you!!❤ me -81lb hubs -95 and maintaining 😊
If I’m craving soda, sparkling water most likely won’t work as it’s the taste of a specific soda I’m craving and not just the carbonation. Sometimes I’ll have sparkling water. I like the Stur water mix-ins if I need it a bit sweeter.
I have kicked so many bad habits and lost a lot of weight, built a lot of muscle, but I drink 100 oz of diet soda a day and I feel it has to be the very last habit I kick, since I couldn’t have done all the rest without being super-hydrated and I just can’t do it with water or sparkling water. Closest I’ve gotten is fermented dill pickle lemonade.
Autumn, I just wanted to say I love how quickly you talk! I am exactly the same and it's nice to have so much information but in a short video. Please don't pay any attention to the negative, slow down comments and just keep being YOU! 😊
I wouldn’t say the comments requesting her to slow down are negative. If someone has a problem following how quickly she speaks but is invested in what she has to say, how is that negative?🤷🏾♀️
Autumn, thank you for educating the public about making true healthy food choices and to decipher real healthy food over food that are deceivingly marketed to appear healthy. It is possible to learn the truth about foods it just takes some education and you are a great teacher!!!! Thank you!
Oh my word, so much critical info here!!! I've got marked bone loss from years of PPI'S so I've been taking calcium and K2 supplements. I had no idea full fat yogurt had K2, and here I've been thinking the nonfat was the way to go. Mind blown too on the plant based protein powder being poorer quality protein. Such great info, thanks once again! ❤
I used to have my own chickens. They scratched everywhere! and ate a very natural diet. The eggs were much much more filling than any store bought eggs.
Autumn, I love your videos. I learn so much. I have slightly elevated ldl and my doctor always wants me to go on a statin which I refuse to do. I’m post menopausal and would like to up my protein and use plain Greek yogurt and eggs. If I understand this correctly these would be safe for me to eat? Also, is it true that sugar is more likely to raise ldl? Thanks!
Ezekial bread is my absolute favorite. I’be recently started looking into making my own sourdough starter so I can make my own sourdough bread! Still love and will eat my sprouted grain bread though. It’s just so wholesome
Hi Autumn, as always so much amazing info. Wondering what you think about home made naturally fermented sourdough bread? I make my own with a sourdough starter. Is this a healthier option that is consistent with weight loss? Thank you 😊
Looking at the store brand diet cola you grabbed and-thank you for indirectly supporting my paycheck. The grocery store I work at is part of Albertson’s.
Thanks, Autumn. 😊 I put cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, & a splash of grass-fed heavy cream into my organic coffee. It's delicious 😋. Question on the eggs: Are pasture raised eggs a better option than just organic? If I had to choose between the two. I'm assuming organic pastured raised eggs are the best option, but with a family of 5, that's a little harder to swing monetarily since we all eat eggs like they're going out of style. 😉😂 Thanks for your input. Have a great day! 😊
I’m doing good, I don’t eat any of these foods! I’m drinking a protein smoothie as I watch this. I’m kind of addicted to them, I can’t wait to have it every day 😊
Love this info. Sadly I can’t do protein powders, they don’t agree with me. I believe it’s because of my histamine/ MCAS issues. Thank you for sharing.
I've found "Gerolsteiner" to be the best option for mineral water. I get it at Trader Joe's. It's a bit more pricy comparatively, but it's definitely worth it, in my opinion.
I sometimes use a fermented vegan protein powder made from various beans, peas etc. Would that be as good as sprouted and would the DIAAS be good on that as well?
Regarding protein powders, in case this encourages anyone else, pea protein actually has a solid DIAAS score of 1.0. For my family of 6, grass fed whey protein isolate simply does not fit into the food budget. We buy Orgain - I feel good about using it and my family loves it. No shade to Autumn at all! If my budget were larger I’d love to buy your product. 💛
I don't have a video on this specific topic, however I've added to my list. In the meantime, I recommend checking out my video of the pasta alternatives I enjoy instead here: ruclips.net/video/quSEp5S9YEg/видео.htmlsi=J75X9yE1h5nV-bGC
What is your thought on the Barilla "Protein Plus" pasta that was shown in the video? I have been buying that one over regular white pasta for a while. Does that one have a higher load too?
Awesome tips!! When IF, Would you have to open/close your window at the same time everyday, or as long as you stick to your preferred window? Let’s say I was doing 16:8
Yes, agreed! I’ve been waiting and I can’t wait to be able to get it here. 🇨🇦 In her Spring challenge video she said it’s very close to being available to ship to Canada 🎉
So are you saying that it is okay for someone who is very lactose intolerant to eat yogurt? If so what kind do you recommend? What about cottage cheese?
I don't consume bread anymore nevertheless my most favorite one is sourdough and Italian ones (focaccia and ciabatta). I don't consume pasta either, however zucchini pasta is amazing, and I am not on a low-carb or ketogenic approach to my nutrition. When it comes to dairy, doctors advised me to eliminate dairy consumption for a while, the only dairy product I consume is whey isolate protein (if it can be considered as dairy, anyway). As for dairy products, it has become the new controversial source of food. It's not just the lactose factor or the full fat vs low fat. Full fat is better, the fats in dairy are healthy fats and the protein in dairy products is better absorbed when it's full fat. People that have no issue with lactose and still get indigestion with dairy are due to the A1 casein which is most present in cow milk products, therefore you should consider consuming goat or sheep milk products. Egg whites aren't that much of a problem, still you shouldn't only consume whites; whole eggs are a bomb of nutrients compared to just whites. As for diet soda or coke either opt for unsweetened ones or consume carbonated water. Low calorie sweeteners become a problem if you use them in abundance, Autumn explained why; my favorite is stevia. The reason I've never appreciated plant-based protein powders is because of the GMO factor. I never liked either ground turkey or chicken; I'd rather have skinless boneless chicken or turkey breast any day. Thanks Autumn.
OMG! what strain of probiotocs did you take for pregnancy!? I really want to know because I never heard anyone talk about that when I was pregnant and I tested positive for group B strep. It was super annoying because the doctor wanted to give me intravenous antibiotics during labor. I did NOT take the antibiotics during labor, and my daughter and I are doing completely fine. However I would be interested to know for the next pregnancy if it's at all possible to prevent it.
Stevia is not really a great option for sugar. Many have sensitivities to Stevia, causing itching mouths, throats, and GI issues. The Stevia plant is in the Asteraceae/Compositae plant family, which contains ragweed, marigolds, daisies, chrysanthemums, and other plants that many are sensitive to. If you use Stevia and are experiencing the itchy mouth, throat, or gas and bloating, it could very well be the Stevia.

Yes to a soda blog/video! Diet soda is the absolute hardest thing for me to kick and the sparkling waters can’t seem to cut it for me.
If I’m craving soda, sparkling water most likely won’t work as it’s the taste of a specific soda I’m craving and not just the carbonation. Sometimes I’ll have sparkling water. I like the Stur water mix-ins if I need it a bit sweeter.

Thank you Autumn for so much info on these foods that are not necessarily good for our wellness goals. 👍❤️🇨🇦

I ordered the vanilla protein powder. It came in only 2 days and had a cute little message to enjoy with a smiley face 😀
Thank you so much for this video, as usual I learned so much! Could you please make a blog post on alternative soda options?

Rather than owning chickens another option is the KFC family pack

I was taking an expensive probiotic for a while, but you've given me a different option with this video. Thank you Autumn!

I’ll try red lentil pasta from Harris Teeter Grocery Store! 😊

My nurse daughter says that the heart doctors at her hospital hate the keto diet.

What are your thoughts on coconut sugar thank you
Great info🎉
One bread I swapped to is purple package carbonaut bread. Find much better taste
What do you think about allulose sweetener
I actually use diet soda as an after dinner sweet. It satisfies the craving for dessert. I like my Diet Cope.

Did I see that right? $17.99 for dr bronzers coconut oil?? I pay up to $23 at Whole Foods. Wow! Checking out thrive market today. Thank you!
Good info thanks. I have quit alcohol but still drink too much diet soda 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
Thank you for your videos. Can you do a video about low iron. How to get more iron from foods and what are the best supplements for low iron?
I have iron deficiency (without anemia as my red blood cells and hemoglobin levels are normal). I’ve had to do rounds of IV iron twice.
I sometimes use a fermented vegan protein powder made from various beans, peas etc. Would that be as good as sprouted and would the DIAAS be good on that as well?

What is wrong with diet soda? Low calorie, no added sugars and high in potassium. It’s pretty much the same as flavored sparkling water.
Artificial sweeteners - manmade chemicals
