I do the same thing, I’m slowly finding and organizing a space for everything in the house because it helps ease my anxiety and depression knowing there’s a place for everything, I used to just try to hide stuff away but when I would open it again the mess would overwhelm me.
I have problems with depression and anxiety too! I always clean as I go, I’m literally neurotic when it comes to cleaning anything!!
I also love having things clean to help my anxiety. I find I am more irritable and anxious if the house is a mess. Thank you for these videos! They inspire me to clean when I don't want to, but know I need to!
I love watching cleaning videos. I also love organization and cleaning too. I think having a tidy home definitely plays into my anxiety and depression as well. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with twins and I haven't been able to clean my home for most of my pregnancy due to hormones, being tired, and now pelvic girdle pain. So I definitely have been watching cleaning videos more than ever now and it does make me wish I could be cleaning my home too. However, because I spent a lot of time organizing and creating homes foreverything, its been an easier adjustment for my family to pick up my slack because they know everything has a place and it gets returned. So I definitely am proud of myself for having done that for my family over the years. Thank you for the entertainment! Hopefully in a couple months I can bounce back and get to my spring cleaning and really clean my home really well since I've been MIA for 6 months now.
Would love to see your garage cleaned purged and organized or if you have an attic that would be interesting too.And also would like to see front yard and back yard work too.Blessings

Funny, I thought i was the only one who had depression , and cleaning and organizing somehow helps me with that . I also think everything has a place, and organizing is a great way to live.
I am what some people call a clean freak. if there is a dish in the skink it needs to be rinsed and put in the dish washer, if there are clothes on the floor they need to go in the hamper until laundry is done. nothing wrong with being organized . I appreciate the videos and happy to know I am not alone when it comes to depression or the fact that messes make give me anxiety .

I have a schedule that I try to stick to everyday that includes dailies (20 minute tidy, dishes, litterboxes, etc) and weeklies like cleaning the toilet, doing laundry(apartment with no washer/dryer) vaccuuming, etc . Having a schedule helps it to not pile up on me and it helps to make it not overwhelming. And if I fall a little behind I just pick up on the day that I'm feeling better because I know the things I missed will come back around again. Also organizing with the knowledge that it is not a one and done and you will have to re-organize as part of your chores is important.
I totally agree. If I'm in a stressed/depressed mood, having a clean house helps. Like you said there are times when I don't even want to clean, so it is a vicious cycle. But I LOVE organization. It is so calming.

I usually clean up as I go but since the death of my son, I've kinda lost it and watching these videos helps me get back to it.
Definitely a person who cleans as I go! I grew up sharing a room with my big sister who was a total hoarder (lovable hoarder, though!) and never cleaned her side of the room, and it gave me immense anxiety all through childhood. In adult life I've found a lot of peace in establishing my own spaces and keeping them at the caliber of clean I'd always wished my childhood home had been at. Cleaning is a form of therapy for me too :) Love your videos!
I'm a grad student on a tight budget and aldi is the best! I save so much money every week grocery shopping there.

I clean as I go and for deep cleans on the weekend where I move furniture and vacuum everywhere. Also, just like to watch you clean😁 too. I agree, when everything has a place, it is less stressful and makes clean so much easier.

This resonates with me so much. I came from a home with severe clutter and not the best hygiene. I had a lot of health issues growing up and I developed an anxiety depression quite early. It wasn't until I adopted a cleaner lifestyle as an adult. I was effectively able to care for my mental health. I had to teach myself organisational skills I was never taught as a child and it was hard to get into the daily routine. Sorting and cleaning is my now my therapy. If my house is untidy my mood is down but I have now gotten to that point where it doesn't take a lot of effort for it to be a place I can relax too. 🤗 Just need to teach my parents now. Fyi they're amazing and I love them. Now I just want to tidy and organise everyone's house cause I have been there!. Anyway love your videos, they get me motivated and give me new ideas xx

With two young children I prefer to clean as I go otherwise it doesn’t take long for the house to turn into a mess. A clean and organised home does wonders for my mental health too.
I clean as I go during the day & do a full clean every Thursday. Then a deep clean once a month. I also have a designated place for everything. Makes cleaning so easy n fast. 🚮🚰
I’m here because I’m a new SAHM (when we had only 1 kid I worked full time) and I’m having a hard time adjusting to being the main person that cleans our house. I’m wishing I could organize things the way you do. 😫

I clean up everyyyyyy day all day lol. I usually try and do one big chore at night after I put the babies to bed (mop,clean oven, deep cleaning, etc.). Sometimes I am exhausted but I still just have to get up and clean no matter what. A load of laundry a day too. It never ends!!

Normally i love to clean up 10 minutes at night, so i have a nice place in the morning, but lately my sleep and mental health haven't been great. I try to get into it more, because it used to be a slow down routine and your Videos help immensly!
I like cleaning as I go to avoid pile up. But some days, I get this burst of energy and just clean and organize. Scares my husband. XD You're such a motivation. Al the products you recommend are great recommendations! Can't wait to try out boutique rugs!

I like to clean as I go. I used to be a real slob and hated the thought of cleaning so much (but also had some depression mixed in). I didn’t even realize how much the mess was effecting me until I raged out about losing my replacement social security card (to replace the one I had recently lost... in my house... because I never go anywhere) like a week after getting it.
After screaming and crying like a child, I found the old one in a random wallet and the new one in my current wallet........... yep.
So I got rid of 90% of my stuff and now it takes me so little time to clean. But now I actually like cleaning........ so I watch cleaning videos to get my fix.
Clean as I go. Uncluttered horizontal surfaces are a must for my mental well being.
I love watching for motivation. I clean throughout the week so I can chill and do little to nothing on weekends. My hubby works Mon - Fri, and I'm a housewife. Due to medical reasons I suffer from, we don't have kids. It's something I've accepted years ago. We have a dog & he's our fur child. But I love doing tiny cleaning sessions within the week. One day I'll focus on washing & drying all laundry & allow it to sit on our guest bed. One day I'll focus on vacuuming the main carpet area. Due to my medical issues, the mop & sweep alone can murder me. So, to help get me started, I'll watch YT to get me out my funk.
I did shop Piggly Wiggly, but I recently switched to IGA.

Slowly reorganising my house one room at a time, but I physically cannot clean every day because I have a back injury. I do however make sure the kitchen is spotless before bed and I pick-up as much as I can during the day while kids are at school. Do big/deep cleans on Sundays 😚
I might just be tired but I spent a good two minutes giggling about how the black plus signs in the rug pattern would dance when you were vacuuming them! Amazing clean, and as for the plaque I can not think of another channel that deserves it as much as you!

I always watch these really late at night while in bed or when I’m at work on a break. Makes me feel like I really want to do this when I get home or tomorrow! But then tomorrow hits and it’s another story.
Also for some reason watching you do this video made me feel so tired for you. I’d be exhausted by the end of that. Sheesh. You are definitely goals! I have 1 daughter and it’s hard to keep up. Not sure how you manage to do so much and you have 2 little girls.

Carissa have you ever thought in doing a entrance where you can leave the street shoes like people do in Canada, Germany and Japan? , that also helps to keep the floor a little bit cleaner. We use a trunk and that make visually nice to hide all shoes.

I’m a pick up compulsively as I go through the day bc I can’t handle messiness but cleaning I could def do more of. I like satisfying cleaning videos. I wouldn't want to clean during a video because I'd miss the video! I like to clean as I go with deeper cleans once a week. I do Kroger pick up. Walmart for what Kroger is out of. Aldi & Trader Joes on occasion.

I'm more of a clean one or two rooms a day. Kitchen, living space one day, bedroom/ baths together and other rooms together. Have you heard of the company called Beddy's? I think your girls would love having the bedding on their beds. It is almost like a bed sized sleeping bag. There's a fitted part for the mattress, then a blanket, sheet and top comforter all sewn together on the end and one side that just zips closed. When the child wants to make the bed, they just straighten the inside layers and zip the side. Done! Nice neat bed. No lost bedding during the night.
The bars ar to fit adult size hangers. I moved mine too one my daughter outgrew baby hanger I had to put the bar back
