I love a thrift flip! Most of the things in my house are finds I flipped. I love how the terra cotta pot came out! I love how the baking soda made the paint almost like a chalk paint! Definitely trying that!

Makes me want to go to the thrift store for sure! And I think you should go with a gloss seal. I think if you want to have a cup of coffee in bed, or a glass of water, the glossy finish will help protect the wooden table top.
