You can turn (kinda wide turns) full speed. Transmitter seems good to so far. Jst 2s lipo fits and works (fuckAAbatteries). I'll keep you posted after this weekend bash I got coming. Hopefully I don't break both typhons lol

Does it kill the slipper clutch and gears that way? I just turned mine up and am slightly worried about the gears, so I also turned the brake setting all the way down to help a little when racing around with my senton.
does it wear the drive-train excessively by leaving it at 5? or are these over-built where it can handle it. Seems like a 17T pinion and going to punch setting 5 will get you an increase of both low end and top end....... at the expense of some wear & drivetrain stress?

Oh maybe goto a 20T pinion and hot racing diffs from my granite in my mind it will be a beast, let's fucking hope it is
I recently got the Granite and wanted to compare it to my Redcat Landslide XTE before changing the esc settings. Punch 3 feels weak and delayed to me. Oh hey buddy, when you were installing the new dumborc in the 124019, I noticed you didn't set throttle or steering end parameters, or whatever the heck it's called. ALLEGEDLY, from what I've read, it could potentially squeeze out a few mph's by doing this. I just remembered about that and thought I'd say something. And if I'm wrong or misinformed, please do me a favor, call me an idiot and explain it to me correctly please and thank you.

I had bad servo and hit reset button few times. Now when I hit reverse even a little it guns in reverse. If I turn remote off car starts reversing automatically. I did esc reset. I’m stuck. Any ideas?
Ok. Sorry if this is a stupid question. But you have 3s in the title. So this is the 3s version. The program card on the back has the correct table. I believe it is table 2 if you don’t have your book handy
@@heavymetalrc7520 I have gpm metal driveshafts, hot racing aluminum diff gears and hot racing aluminum motor spur gear. Everything metal. I think granite is ready for lunch level 5, right?
@@runnergt8594 power on the esc then hold down the set button tell it flashes green and makes a beep after that each time you push the set button you change the menu to a different setting so just keep pushing the button until you find the punch it will be in your manual then adjust 1,2,3,4,5 I believe that's your option on 3s if it's 6s it goes all the way to 9 for punch
Just learned from you dam program card works on arrma esc!!! Finally got to make my own cap pack so I can put 6s arrma ecs in my outcast 4s. What a pain in the ass to set my mx3. Felt like a idiot and jackass. Between programming esc via on/off switch and stupid mx3🥴🥴🥴😖😣🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Got it!!! Really dam card works on arrma esc go by your manual esc settings!!! 😩I'M A JACK ASS!!😫 Thanks for the stupid felling!!! Saw your new vid. They are the same size. The 6s has more weight and hugs the ground more. I have both 6s and 3s. 6s is now 8s and 3s is now 6s. But they are very similar other than weight, durability and cost. I love both of them

Sweet vid. Good to know. I prefer out of the box. Has perfect control and I prefer 4 wheels on the ground.
I have mine set to punch 5 with a 20t pinion. I run laps on it all day just fine. Doesn't overheat and acceleration is still manageable.
Oh yeah, it's a beast with 20t. No overheating especially with that wtf fan.

No way, turn it up. A slipper clutch is cheap to replace. And so is a spur if anything happens.

Just a little cogging. Bigger pinion alway makes mine cogg a little. Thanks bro.
Yep, same happens with mine. It could be the battery but it does it to me even with smc batteries, just a half second less of it though. Gearing

Try to bind the receiver again. Make sure you didn't change the switch on the controller

Ever notice if punch 5 eats through gears faster
Not really. Really depends on the driver lol. It will but put a hot racing yoke on the diffs and use a metal spur and your just about bulletproof.
I got the yokes but with plastic gears
@nathancunningham8717 they'll hold. I beat the living crap out of mine and never stripped the diffs after I installed the yoke.
