Excellent video. I really like it when you tell us the Tour averages because it puts things in perspective. If the men and women that play golf for a living don't hit the greens or fairways 100 percent of the time we mid to high should not expect to either.
It's great that you talk about realistic tour averages Chris. Way too many bellends in the media who make it sound like every shot is a horrible mistake unless it's in the hole. Gets hard to watch golf on TV if I'm honest
Good video. My course has a lot longer par 4's. Expectation management is very important. Just not realistic to expect to land on the green in regulation every time when you're hitting hybrids and fairway woods to well defended greens. Often I'm better off playing for bogie with a chance at par if I lay up short of the green and avoid bunkers or short sided chips.
Watching golf on TV the top players tend to be focused on with the wedges to the green and then the birdie putts. It is better to watch the full group coverage and see all shots from a player in a round, so you soon realise how the pro's scramble around a course.
Really excellent tuition, Chris! Dave is the perfect pupil for many of us old guys 😊
Good one Chris. Always important to be reminded about appropriate expectations.
90 to 110 yards I expect a birdie putt 0 to 10 yards. 160+ yards is the problem
I love Retired Dave. Chris and Dave are like the the Reeves and Mortimer of RUclips golf content.
Great content. I really enjoyed the tour averages that you bring into the discussion. More please.
There's always something to learn and it's always entertaining and a joy to see your interactions with Dave. Bravo! Keep it up!

Good stuff. Well done.

Let's be realistic Chris. Rory and Tommy aren't the natural pure ball striker that is Dave Harrison😁

I would switch to pitching wedge not the 8 iron on the closer shot!
Really good content again

Can you please fix Dave's trail arm elbow & stop letting it get behind him 😂
