You’ve said a brilliant line here that resonated with me for both the driver and iron swings. First have an efficient, coordinated sequence then gradually increase the sequence speed to the maximum amount to achieve natural “clubhead” speed. In other words, if you lose the sequence at 90%, go back to the speed where you did it correctly. I think I need to go from a swing hard mindset to “sequence efficiently fast” as the latter is an enabler to clubhead speed, consistency and accuracy.
I think you’ve summed it up perfectly Tony, being able to give ourselves a bit more awareness time in movement is key. Another example would be we would expect to learn a guitar solo at full speed and expect to play it perfectly, it’s the same with a golf swing. It’s a learned movement and to help a lot with that, starting slow and building up is very effective. Many thanks for your comment which I hope many read, as you’ve nailed it 🔨 Warren
I had an indoor range session yesterday (launch monitor and screen setup) and the drill I tried with my driver was the split hand drill to take the club away facing the ball (not on the inside, which watching videos of myself I now realise I was doing). This worked really well and according to the launch monitor I hit something like 13/15 targets which is very consistent for me as I usually have a few wayward drives (e.g. ballooning up into the air , or fading off to the right!). I'll try this next drill next time, being able to trust where my driver goes would make a big difference !
Wow that’s an excellent return and I love that feel of the split hands too. I think I did a video on that back in the day, I’ll try and dig it out and send it over. It’s lovely to have a feel like that that layers so well, so I with you continued success, as like you say, sing able to drive the ball makes life on the course a lot less stressful. I used to say to the juniors I taught, “book end a hole.” Driving and putting and you won’t go far wrong. Many thanks for your support, it is greatly appreciated. Warren
@@warrenbennettgolfacademy Yes sorry I should have mentioned it was your split hand drill I had watched! I've been working my way through your back catalogue, it's all working well at the moment, it's not over complicated and focusing on a few key drills really makes a difference (the tea tray drill is another one I've been doing)
Enjoyed ! Loved your tracker / tracer and the way even you’re not so well struck shots looked. I like the Control you have over an impressive swing 🏌🏾♂️
Seen this idea from you before but it is a game changer. Still work with these little drills and really slows down an overactive steep body-ex slicer Awesome software for the golf tracer shot patterns. really awesome video production as well. Nice one
Software is great and shows how well you are hitting that driver, a lovely flight and shape. By the way my wife swears by your bunker tuition and says, despite lessons, it is the best advice she has ever had and now enters a bunker with confidence.
Great drill. I have been using this method for about a month or two and my driver has become very consistent with just an occasional slight push to the right (I’m right handed). But for the most part I feel a lot more confident of using my driver now.
Played Chestfield many times in 1980's with the Fruiters Golf Society, many happy evenings in the old clubhouse with your sfaff who joined in happily with our antics.
Really enjoyed watching. I shudder to think the hours you spent creating and honing that swing. It’s so fluid and dare I say simple. Reminds me of a certain South African of similar build!. Really deceptive speed in there too. Sequence is key.
This is the senior swing or arm swing. If you're struggling with hitting driver using your lower body, this is a good alternative. Obviously, it can't produce the same distance, but if you're slicing and hooking anyway, a straight drive would be an improvement.
Another great video. And so well explained. This moves allows time to get into correct hitting position. Keep well and you and family have a great xmas and new year.Hope trev does eat too much. Can you at sometime explai. How to hit a fade as my destuctive shot is a hook, keep well regards Graham
Great video! This really addresses the important distinction between trying to muscle the ball - and effortlessly letting the club swing. Does the green light/spot change as the clubs get shorter? If so - have you come up with a simple guide to where the spot is for the other clubs? - Thanks!
Thank you so much for this amazing video! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Usually this is easier for people with a tad head heavier swing weight in their driver. The sound coming off your TS3 is different to mine, so it makes me wonder if your head weight is heavier than standard?
Is that true about moving into ball to quickly which makes you move back ouT ? Ive asked multiple channels why i seem to have my best shots when im on my back foot ….obviously ive got issues going in lately ,but this really screwed my driver up (worse than already was) cause i couldnt learn proper weight shift /turn because “backing out“ worked .. Edit: natural speed is another great li aspect (for me anyways) …..for me to get on proper plane, release ,etc…my swing loses all the feeling of power and is definitely noticeably shorter …and even though its mostly a preferable outcome ,seeing it go shorter and not feeling powerful im guessing is why i cant stick with it long… may e if i start thunking “natural speed” ill have better / more success

Love the appropriately-dreamy edits for a wintry driver feels video.
Your the best I learned at from thank you for the videos that showed. 🎉❤

*Love your dog! Compliments to your advice definitely won't hurt anyone with this.*
Always great tips, thanks for sharing them 👍

i love that puppy dog
Enjoyed this one..Thanks Warren
Such a straightforward demonstration of a great practice swing, especially on or around the first tee as a reminder. Terrific, thanks Warren 👍🏻👍🏻
great video simple and easy to understand

Retief Goosen? One of the best swings ever!
@@zahimiibrahim3602 Take your pick - Retief, Wayne Ernie. Warrens swing is up there with any of them. Smooth effortless athletic and very powerful.
This drill looks excellent and so simple. I'm definitely going to give it a try.

I'm off down the range in a bit. I'll give it a try!
Nice hat. Detroit resident here.

Great video, check out Gregg from Overhand Golf ,( Holy Grail ) who promotes this type of swing for many years , cheers Paul
I think the last part of this will help my snap hook miss
