In this Boxing Training video, Teddy Atlas teaches the Peekaboo Boxing technique.
Teddy Atlas is a prolific boxing trainer and sports commentator. This is an preview of his eagerly anticipated series that focus on THE PEEKABOO METHOD of Boxing which will be available exclusively at DynamicStriking.com.
Dynamic Striking was started by a pair of black belts (Bernardo Faria & Michael Zenga) who feel that nothing is more important than improving your striking skills as much as possible in the least amount of time. Their aim was to create a shop for students interested in striking who don’t look at mixed martial arts as a sport - but as a lifestyle.

As a coach I can't tell you how much Teddy Atlas inspires me. When he talks about boxing it brings tears to my eyes - he is boxing, he feels boxing and cares about boxing. I would love love to meet Teddy and sit down and talk boxing with him. LEGEND
🤗👍🏻
Lol, can't imagine him inspiring anything but speech therapy lessons.
Me too. I wish i coukd get him to train me.
🥲🥲@@williamstiltner531
I wish Kevin Rooney would do some tutorials
For Sure, it would be legendary to learn some peek-a-boo drills
Mike mentioned in the book that kevin rooney now has demecia
I love his energy
🤗👍🏻
Teddy is a character. He forgot more than most of today’s trainers know. I have great respect for him.
Damn Teddy is passionate af!! 💯🥊
🤗👍🏻
I train in the catskills with one of Teddy and Cus's old fighters..... love the style...

If i had half the fire of this man...
🤗
I can't watch Atlas without immediately imitating his hand movements. 😂 BANG! 😂
It's a Staten Island thing
5"11 here...this style is so amazing. It moves and explodes just like taekwondo's base, add the calm and relax nature of a taekwondo fighter, and this style becomes tbe real life "Power of Nothingness" 😂😂
Tyson had the satsui no hado"
Cus D’amato create peekaboo style
Teddy Atlas is the most knowledgeable
person of this style
Mike Tyson is the best person to use this style
Cus D’amato 🌹
Teddy atlas 🌹
Mike tyson 🌹
🤗🤙🏻
Don't forget Floyd Patterson, Jose Torres, Joey Fariello, Dan Florio or Kevin Rooney
Francis Scheets
I wrote the best
@@francisscheets6604 Its sad Floyd Patterson kinda gets forgotten. He was poetry in motion. Tyson was an awesome force, but Floyd was a beauty to behold.
Teddy trained Mike as an amateur, and Kevin Rooney trained him as a pro.
I love him
Always Great
🤗👍🏻
Super cool
🔥
I wish there were footages of that dude slapsie maxie
i wish you become my trainer
🤗
I find this style to be the most difficult to master.(keep in mind, this style isn't for everyone) I tried learning the peek a boo style and you need tons of stamina (lets not forget about head movement). At the same time it is perfect for swarmer boxers. Its also great if you're going up against a taller opponent or if you're shorter than your opponent. I did give up the peek a boo style because I was absolutely awful when it comes to slipping. I respect any type of style. I really love the peek a boo style. But if someone asked me what style would be the best for closing in distance, I would always say the peek a boo style.
You slip jabs in a left to right letting it go in between your shoulders and you do a u and come up against the hooks and what’s so difficult about that
I would Teddy Atlas, Kevin Rooney, or Anyone in that training circle/fighters they’ve trained to make a dvd or blu ray dedicated instructional on the style. It’s still very uncommon and needs more love and is the style I aspire to learn and use one day.
What happened to the peekaboo videos part 123 and four?
Tony Atlas is a beast hands down one of the best to ever do it!
The volume on this is extremely low. I have a Bose speaker that's loud enough to make neighbors complain from down the bock when all of my windows and doors are shut tight when on full
volume, I am sitting kissing close to the screen and can barely make out what they are saying with the speakers all the way up.
What's wrong with traditional boxing side way stance
Can't slip as well and counter at the same time with either hand.
@@1stNeoSpartan of course you can
@@languidquid no as effective
Your right hand is alot further back meaning it takes a longer time to land
i think of LOMA when he talks about it.
I’m 178 cm and 94 kg up coming heavy weight boxer training in peek a boo, boxing out of Melbourne Australia. Watch this space 👀
That’s really big for your height. Are you mostly muscle or fat?
@@Njsksksnsk 🤣🤣🤣 thanks! Glad you did it, I'll save my karma...
I made a peekaboo boxing video mind giving me some tips?
it’s just so damn beautiful
🤗👍🏻
👍💪
🤗👍🏻
I am hoping this instructional does not have the demonstrations in the ring, with the camera outside and the ropes partially obstructing the view. No matter how minor. It is best to see every detail.
I'm convinced that as man get older they get bigger the supposed prime of males is 25-35 but teddy wasn't this big at 25 35 same thing with my father and all other people
💪🏾✝️❤️
Teddy should have trained Tyson for the Jake Paul fight.
From México manopleas muy mal
Teddy This is Castamados style not yours
As well as being punchy, the guy mumbles...
can't understand half of what he's yammering about.
