No disrespect but seriously... I have friends an know many others that won all Ireland boxing titles an they wouldn't beat a there way outta a cardboard box... you must know this too, many a person won all Ireland's an only had 1 or 2 bouts an even then amateur boxing is like tag rugby.. its point scoring for touching opponents... it is not a true measure of how good or bad a guy genuinely is... Teddy says it in this video, the ring is the chamber of truth... but the amateur boxing ring is the chamber of lies... as I've said no disrespect you may be a good fighter but Ulster an all Ireland bouts dont mean shit in the real world of Boxing.

Mr. Atlas you are a gentleman of the sport deserving of all the respect you've been given and more. If I wrote "but" I'd be erasing my accolades. AND if Michael Moore wasn't wary of even a jab from GF he must not have been listening.
In HS I tried this with my best friend. I was taller and better looking and I laid that jab out there a couple of times like a fly fisherman dropping a dry fly on a pool. The third time I intended on setting the hook with my right. His right was more right and it came over my jab. I punched back. At the telephone pole that had been behind me. In my defense my friend was like a blonde 150 pound Tyson before we had heard of Mike, peekaboo, rolling shoulders and trouble where ever he went. As an aside I've often wished, even back then, he'd fallen in with a trainer who would teach him to be self-disciplined first and then a boxer.

Great video Ted love seeing stuff like this just shows the technical side to the sport really well. I couldn't be a boxer myself I ain't a big fan of being hit or hitting another guy but I love the training and technique and have a real respect for boxing and the great skill of the fighters.

That’s what Brook was trying to do to Crawford before he was countered and eventually stopped. Crawford timed the right hand perfectly and threw the short hook right over the pawing jab.

Very Interesting. If I was a boxer I would want Teddy Atlas teaching me. I strongly believe in learning things the easy way from other people who have learned it the hard way. I have no desire to learn anything the hard way, especially in boxing.

Great video. Awesome teacher. This video would have been great video clips of the instances the techniques were actually employed by some of the fighters mentioned. Again, great video.
