You should definitely extend the Gigas pole! I've got mine growing up a pole and it's less than a meter tall with leaves that are bigger than my hand, they're so rewarding to grow 😍 Also, congrats on 100K!!! Just as you say about keeping up with the watering with the Crystal/Mag, if you pop a layer of sphag around the top of the pot, a nice thick layer you'll both get some nice aerial roots growing down into the pot to boost your root growth and it also keeps the water and humidity in there a bit better. My anthurium seem to do well with this treatment :)
My Hoya sun stress really well I under my soltech light. Also, New Guinea ghost is even better in person, Got one last week and i am in love. Fav Hoya at this point

you know what ive discovered lately with velvety plants. the best way to get dust off of them is using tape lol I just go around lint rolling my plants basically with a piece of tape
That Gloriosum. Oh my. GOALS. 100% struggle town with my gloriosum! My first one was huge and stunning when I got her and within a few weeks all her leaves went yellow then crispy and dropped off! She did push out a new leaf though and I chopped the stick in the middle because it was so long with roots all the way along and I felt like I had nothing to lose so it is now pushing out growth at the chop point too (there's a video of it in my shorts) so fingers crossed but oh my, I so badly want her to thrive. I feel you on changing plant tastes, I never got the hype of Adansonii or Thai Constellation but now, obsessed. Totally obsessed.

I have a variegated trailing jade which Ive had a little over a year and received as a very small plant. So pretty and does go pink in the sun. It has one short and one long piece. I would love to have a full plant like yours.
