@@crackhead3651 that’s like a plant channel,
I literally laughed out loud when the Crystallinum smacked you in the face and you said, "How rude!" The look on your face was priceless!
Probably only me every video "hello everybody, glad u could make it, my name is Kaylee Ellen" I just haaave to say that😂
You’re not alone, I’ve said this before and many people also agreed and said they do it too. It’s a ritual at this point 😌
@@joshuaadams1178 For some reason I do love thinking about it as a ritual! Well said! 😊
I do it toooooo! 😂
SAME!!
Guilty!
"He's not the longest boy I've seen"

....I caught that girl. lol
Lol its funny because of course he is 🤣
@@KayleeEllenOfficial hahaha, I just related to that whole moment. I constantly say things that probably should have been said differently. Love your channel and your energy.

Not easy to care according to Kaylee:
46:48 A. peltigerum
48:37 A. corrugatum
I bought a clarinervium a while back and i was really scared thinking ill most likely kill it but it is absolutely thriving! I definitely recommend this to beginners :)
Same!
Can i ask you what kind of substrat have yours? :)
@@Sarah-xd5cq for me it is still in the coco peat based substrate it came in. If I would want to repot I'd probably go for perlite with sphagnum. And if I really want to spoil it, I'd wrap some moist sphagnum around the stem...
@@joankennes3230 okay thank you!!!!😊
🤣🤣 I will now be drinking when Kaylee Ellen says "this is not the best example", when a plant smacks her or she zooms in on a very expressive facial movement.

alcohol poisoning, but make it FUN
Would you consider listing the plants in your description that way those of us that have attention issues can have them there without having to rewind?
I was thinking the same thing. A slide at the end with name and picture.

Still obsessed with the Beach Goddess vibes
You are my inspiration Kaylee... the 1st time I saw your video about rare plants, your journey, The Wall and everything. From Philodendrons to Anthuriums and to whatever presentations you created , I just love it and you as a person. I’m a plant lover myself but I lay low because I want to travel . When pandemic strikes, I have to stay home.... and back to plants. That’s how I know the names of my plants... before I just pick whatever fancies me and when I watched your videos, that’s the time I realised how precious they are... thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and views on plants. With this we can always be reminded of how awesome The creator of everything... beautiful and wonderfully unique in it’s every special being. ♥️🌱 God bless you🙏🏼.
I am living for the comedic editing and interludes in this! 🤣
Kinda wished you did this video 2 weeks ago, haha! I in my delirium, I purchased two Warocqueanums, one baby plant and one that was separated from the mother plant. The latter had a very damaged leaf but was healthy and dark green - damage caused by the initial shipping and acclimatisation of the import the seller did. Now, this guy has healthy roots, but the leaf has gone so pale and turning yellow and I've repotted it in perlite and bark and in a mesh pot and bagged it up. I can see the life force getting sucked out. The baby was been in sphagnum moss, but suffered a bit of rot, so I have removed the moss and popped it in a mesh pot with perlite alone in a saucer of water and bagged it. Fingers crossed it will get the stumps all powered up. I've never been so fucking nervous over two little stump bastards. Had they been potential boyfriends I would have dropped them ages ago - the anxiety is sooo real! 😫
Update? Don't leave us hanging here!
I can vouch for the Clarinervium and the Vittarifolium, I have both and they require sooo little! The only time I had yellowing leaves on my Vittarifolium was when I dared to water it twice instead of once a month and apparently that was too much. But even then it kept pushing out new leaves! Now I'm back to watering it once a month and it's growing like crazy! They really do love drying out between waterings.
Pretty please leave the text for the names up for the duration. I usually “watch” videos while in the kitchen so keep having to go back if I want to see spelling or if I missed the name
I've quickly come to love you, Kaylee. Your no-bullshit approach to plants is honestly the best thing, ever. As another painfully blunt, and to-the-point person, I really appreciate your content. You've got yourself a lifetime subscriber. I wish you'd ship to the U.S. lol.
She does ship to the US with the new shop!! ❤️❤️
You have the most addictive youtube channel! Love all your videos and i just love your demeanor and personality ❤😊
I love how you’ve been wearing your hair! It’s very natural looking and pretty!
I need a video on compact plants! These are gorgeous but I don’t have room for in my plant cabinets!
You made me fall in love with the Vittarifolium first time you showed it on your channel. Found myself one some months later and I adore it like Harry Styles adores that fish ♥️
And yes, I agree with everything you say about it, as well as the Clarinervium and Veitchii. Mine haven't grown much but they withstood the chaos of shipping and my repotting them from one medium to the other and moving house during winter. Now they are all growing again.
OMG Kaylee. That mortal kombat moment :D :D :D I laughed so hard. Such a great video girl!
You couldn’t have posted at a better time! Thank you Kaylee i love your content 💐👑🖤
Hellooo, the early gang, I love what you are doing on the channel, Kaylee, keep it up and have fun
I totally agree with your assessment. I really love my magnificums. The statement they make with their new leaves coming in blood red and maturing to green.Chef kiss!!
I can't believe I forgot that it's Friday because I literally look forward to this video all week long!
The plants... They're starting to turn against Kaylee, they're starting to fight back!
Your videos have inspired me to get into Anthurium and YOUR VIDEOS HELP SO MUCH! They’re amazing!!! YOU ARE INSPIRATIONAL!!
Plain green can be lovely when you have different shapes and shades together with different richness levels.
YESSS!!! BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE !!
22:00 best part of the video, please upload this amazing 20 seconds on its own so I can rewatch it another 20 times. I’m dying. Such a meme. HOW RUDE
That's true, Kaylee, crystallinum is easy to care, it grows fast, I have seen here 28 inches long (6 leaves out of 15 leaves) massive one!
Perfect timing! I just got my first anthurium 🥰
Hello Kaylee Ellen! I really love your content. I'm now into rare plants because of you...I'm saving my money to buy a Monstera 'Albo' Variegata because I saw you video...until now I'm still saving money. LOL. Thank you for inspiring us, your viewers.
Love this new series of yours! 🌿
Always keep waiting for your new video 😍😍
the high pitched “through!” 🥺 so cute lol
Pajamas, snacks and your videos are making my Friday nights! 💚
I love how you keep defending your lineolatum. "It's not his fault, it's my fault. " true plantmom!
i have been binge watching your videos and not a single regret!!
Love this video! All the times she hits her face and gives that funny look is HILARIOUS 😂😆
I love the abs on the king. And the plant after (crystallinum) is my favorite. I need to get one
I love these videos 😍 I’m really interested in your opinion on different types of potting mix for rare plants - do you prefer leca, moss, or soil? And why? I tend to over water so all my plants are in terracotta and a chunky aroid mix
So many Wishlist plants from this video! Even the anthuriums I've seen before, I'm seeing in a whole different light 😍
Great content as always!! I have forgettii on my list now!!
I definitely agree on the Anthurium Silver Blush-- i found it quite a bit more difficult than my Clarinervium and Forgetti
Love your videos! Will you do a video on pon as a substrate and/or self watering pots? Would love to hear your take!
Just got my first vittariflorium. Can't wait to see how it grows.
OMG the gauge on that Elho pot is adorable! 🌱
Kaylee: I'm borderline sexually attracted to that.
Me: FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS ME!
Bahahahahaha
😩😂🤣
I love my vittarifolium!! Super easy. My clarinervium on the other hand gave me a lot of trouble with root rot after importing.
I'm lucky enough to have a vittarifolium and a lineolatum and I totally agree. Love them both. Theyve been very forgiving when Ive been ill and neglected my plants. The lineolatum has those very chunky roots too and that definitely seems to help the situation. Would recommend!
Wow ok Kaylee. I had been eyeing the Veitchiis from NSE all day because Enid had stealth added them to the website... and then I watch this. Just had to get it!! My first Anthurium!! So excited :D I need more long bois in my life
I recently caught the Anthurium itch and imported a Clarinervium, Crystillinum, Magnificum and a babeh Regale. Thankfully they've acclimated to pon in my home rather well. I need to really control myself now as I might be getting ahead of myself by eyeing up a Forgetii and a Villenaorum next. I'm just head over heels with Anthurium atm!
Oh girl don’t feel bad I recently did that with syngonium! I bought a pink splash now I have ten different rare varieties of syngonium 🙃😂 I only have the crystalinum when it comes to anthurium but I’d love a regale & forgetti!
Can we take a minute to appreciate how Kaylee uploads every Friday 🪴😌 thank you
Looooove the vibe in today’s video
Yes! My girl the Clarinervium is Back!
Great post! Super informative. Although I'm always up for a challenge, I'm still terrified of Anthurium 🤣
Love my vittarifolium, I got it from NSE and it’s one of the easiest plants to care for that I have.
love this video! laughed alot, you seem so much happier :)
I greatly greatly appreciate these easy care for rare plants videos. I'm glad you don't put price into it. What I'm interested in is will it live if I out money into it lol
Lovely plants, I've seen a couple of corrugated foliage plants in the wild, interesting specimens indeed, they do well in my climate and if kept at home also, outside in the yard under diffused light, and kaylee I'm still loving your new hair, fabulousity. !!
Kaylee: "Anthurium Clarinervium is tough! It's probably the easiest Anthurium you can get."
Me: *staring at my A. Clarinervium which has 2 yellow leaves and looks very shit*
well uhm I guess I shouldn't try other Anthuriums 😂
🤣
I looked at my Crystallium and said the same thing lol
I've had mine for 2 years.... Hasn't died yet. But only has 3 small af leaves. The most recent just came in a month ago..... 😔🙃
@@OkayPakaLolo But it's alive!
My clarinervium was imported to California from Hawaii last summer. Put it in a chunky aroid mix. Did well all summer and then in the fall all the leaves got bacterial spots and I’ve had to start over. I repotted it into self watering pon a few weeks ago and it’s finally working on a leaf. Hoping that this is the turning point. The two chunk cuttings I took also pushed growth super fast as well. It’s funny because I have a lot of other anthurium including quite a few that I’ve imported and the clarinervium by far has been my biggest fail.
I'm obsessed with anthurium at the moment. I'm glad i got some of my collection when people still crazy with philodendron. Tho i have to say, if you want to buy a plant for "investment", i think anthurium isn't the right choice for that. I know some of them has hefty price tag, but i find they're not very easy to propagate, well at least it'll took a bit longer (to a sellable size), compare to philodendron.
I may need to consider anthuriums. I have been avoiding them. Thank you 😍
I love watching how you propagate philo.plants...i wish i will have my own plant garden
I need an anthurium macrolobian! It's stunning 🤩
Fridays are the best days🙌🏻
FR!! 👆💯
Yep.. still too scared to try them..but I will go and re-watch the philodendron one and revamp my wish list 😍 ( the 1st time I was just too mesmerized)
I would love to see some type of syngonium video, I have gotten into them like crazy &. I now own 10 different uncommon/rare varieties. I would love to see all the ones you own!
I enjoyed every second of this video!
Luxurians is bullate, that's the word you were missing in opposite to corrugated. 🙌
My Anthuriums are going good as a beginner.
Love your tips though it helps lot
Peace!
Anthurium Corrugatum is really beautiful and rare in Taiwan. Thanks for your introduction for this so beautifully plant.
Omg this Owen Wilson reference was on point 😂
I bought a Clarinervium like 13 days ago and it arrived in pristine condition. Last week I ordered a Crystallinum that is currently on its way! One thing that worries me is that the Clarinervium supposedly grows slower - but realizing yesterday that it's thriving so much and already asks for a repot (roots are coming out in the bottom) makes me a little scared for when the Crystallinum arrives 😂
Thank you for this! I’m not experienced with anthuriums. I’ve been hesitant to drop money on them.
The regale veins remind me of the face suckers from the Alien movies. I love them
I am so excited to be picking up my Queen and my Crystallinum this Friday. I was debating if I should grab the Forgetti also from her. After this I definitely will!
Off topic but I really want one of your florida ghosts . Love all your videos
your makeup looks so great in this video! Also your hair looks great :)
I love how Kaylee personafies the plants so much lol
Enjoyed the video. Very informative.
By the way Kaylee I have ordered a syngonium erythrophyllum and a variegated Burle Marx per your recommendations in prior videos. Thanks for the suggestions.
OMG!!! I am a little bit crushed. I so love the Peltigerum. It is so understated and elegant and 🤤...
Going to admire it from afar for now 😔
Thank you for your video. Concerning your last plant..transfer it to pumice. It works.
Based on your recommendation, I got anthurium clarinervium and it´s simply awesome - beautiful and super sturdy
LI-VING👏WALL👏LI-VING👏WALL👏
*id love to see an update on how she’s doing ❤️
Good day/evening to you Kaylee! Love watching your videos! Thank you for taking the time to educate us all!
As a new owner to a couple anthuriums, here is a quick question for your fantastic self.
Does a bigger pot for anthuriums give a better chance for bigger leaves?
My Crystallinum was bought in Dec 2020 for a single leaf. It has now been split into 4 Divisions with 4 leaves each. But my leaves have stayed around 15cm. Yours are huge tho! Slightly jealous.
In Australia Anthurium Clarinovvin sells for $650 on eBay.
Yessss!! I just got a clarinervium.. I hope it thrives this spring in Berlin. :)
Love your videos, love your journey! I starten with calathea / Ctenanthe /Goeppertia... Now its aroids 🤩🥰🤩
When the Chrystallinum punched you 😂😂😂😂 also yess for the good old Clarinervium, mine is putting out the cutest lil' leaf at the moment after a long hard winter! Love it 💚
Agree with you....clarinervium is a must for beginners....my most fave anthurium ❤️❤️
I love this video 🥰 You are so fun
Gotta agree with the Silver Blush! They’re not impossible, but just doesn’t grow nicely unlike any other anthurium that I have. Very picky plant
Even easy plants dye in my care. I’m cursed! I use self watering pots for the ones I really care about
I love the A. Vittarifolium!! I was surprised at how easy it is to care for them. I had an accident 2 weeks ago where it fell and 2 leaves broke off (I set the leaves on my desk because I was sad 😭) AND THE LEAVES LOOK THE EXACT SAME... I'm curious to see how long it'll take until the leaves look visibly wilted
Anthurium are my favourite plant group. My Clarinervium has survived a really nasty thrip infestation and is throwing out gorgeous MASSIVE leaves. My Warocqueanum is just beautiful 😍 have a Forgetii White Stripe on the way from South America. Really would love a green Forgetii though. They take really well to Pon/Leca too.
I don't know what it is, i just love how Kaylee says "Anthurium" 🙈😍
Great video, I will say though I found my king anthurium to be harder than my queen. I gave them both pretty much the same conditions and the king got root rot and now is a stump sitting in a bag of moss 😟 and my queen is doing big girl queen things lol she's growing strong. And yes my crystallinum and clarinerviam are blowing up on me out of nowhere lol. Thanks for always providing great info
Thanks for your great videos I discovered your channel not long ago and I'm already member 😉 I wonder why you grow your plants in leca and water. Do they grow better this way ? Do you use hydroponic for all your plants ?
I love you for writing Forgetty Eye in the timestamp :D
