I adore the Veitchii!! I got one from EcuaGenera and he literally was the most low maintenance, most chill beautiful exotic looking plant! He is truly a King! 💚
One anthurium that’s underrated is anthurium sp napo Or Anthurium Nigrolaminum Gigi It’s just so easy and gets so glossy and dark I’ve been currently obsessed with kartel Daun Indonesian anthuriums Red spider king of spades Blue pap They are all just 🙏
I fully agree on the Sp.Napo. I absolutely love mine, which I just got recently after it being a wishlist plant for ages, and it has just given me a huge leaf measuring nearly 50cm. I can't wait to see what the next one is like. And it is super easy like you say.
Long live the King! Love my Veichii. Id love a red crystal mag, but so much $$! I picked up a doc block F2 and it’s gorgeous. So many anthurium…not enough room 😂
I would so love to have veitchii... But I also saw King of Clarinervium a few times, and I think it's one of the most beautiful anthurium I've ever seen 😮❤
No! I'm so sick of Monstera! Does no one know what monsters the broad leaf ones turn into?! That's probably why they have "monster" in its name! Lol! Space hogs!!!
By “broad leaf ones”, are you referring to _M. deliciosa_ specifically? Yeah, they’re actually more of a landscape plant with their huge size, but only if you live in the appropriate climate, of course. I’ve seen them here (in San Diego) growing 30 feet wide, and crawling sideways along a steep forested hillside, in balboa park… and up trees, vertically, etc. It’s like, nobody who is into “trendy” plants seems to realize how massive they are. Then they even feel “bad” pruning the roots once they start becoming unruly. Or they dip the roots in cups of water! Wtf? Don’t cater so much to the plant like that, or individually give EACH aerial root its own cup of water, if you want it to stay small. Bizarre!! Of course I’m not referring to _M. boursigiana_ which stays somewhat smaller-leaved, but the vine can be equally as extensive as deliciosa. I like my $20 Home Depot wide-form _adansonii_ just fine. It’s vigorous and easy to manage. But with the roots-No need to feel bad pruning! In a week you’ll see new ones! It’s like a succulent-the roots are kinda optional, as far as the plant goes. That’s how we’re able to mail leafless cuttings around the world, because they’re not bound to their own roots. Cut those aerial roots off if you have or want to! It’ll just grow more! Haha.
@@skan55-55 I'm particularly fond of the pinnatipartita! When its young it fools everyone into thinking it's a Peru, but it's not! I have a decent sized juvenile, whole 26", lol! It working on growing taller - would help if I added to its moss pole!
@@erikm8372 makes me wish I lived somewhere I can plant my tropicals outdoors - I'm in Indiana- best I can do is take them outdoors over summer! I'm building a greenhouse and hoping I can actually succeed in keeping it warm enough over winter to keep alot of my plants out there! May take way longer for my beauties to grow ginormous, but I have patience ❤ and mycorrhizae to help them zoom a bit! Lol!
I got my first one after watching you at the start of lockdown (clarinervium) and have been obsessed since, especially with the pendant/long leaf anthurium. They are way easier to grow than I thought and I love 'em so thanks K!
seems to me that anthuriums are pretty much the "it" thing now, I don't think they are underappreciated to be honest. can't blame the planty people for it though, they do keep you on your toes. there is just never ending excitement around growing them, due to their insane natural variability etc. just a magnificent genus in general to grow. as more and more hybrids hit the market they will be more and more affordable too, crossed anthuriums tend to be more resilient and vigorous, which makes them relatively easy.
You're right! Anthurium Crystallinum is one of the best and is my ultimate favorite Anthurium of all because of it's stability and easy to care; of course it's unique appearance. I propagated via top cut method and it's doing well now.
I'm an orchid girl for the most part, but I came across your videos one day and fell in love with anthuriums. I've purchased a few and I'm still learning their care.
Oh wow I just finished watching the videos I missed so far!! What a timing!!! I used to think Anthurium were overrated but I've been getting into them more and more!! My absolute dream anthuriums right now are the veitchii, the warocqueanum (probably dark form from what you said about the care, cuz I'd want it to be out in the room instead of a cabinet), the cutucuense and the delta force (if I ever get a really really good deal on them because, well, it's still very expensive, understandably so) I know I don't have the space for them right now though, so that's a purchase way in the future for me. Right now I am quite happy with my clarinervium, crystallinum and my pride and joy, my luxurians. I am so glad I bought it. It had been on my wishlist for aaaages and pictures really don't do it justice!!! And while I was really scared getting into more expensive anthuriums but the luxurians has been great to me, and I don't have a cabinet or anything, so it's been doing really well in "regular household humidity" (Mine is a constant of roughly 60% cuz I only have a small room that is full of plant lol.) So I definitely agree on you about the luxurians being (able to be) very easy care!! I would love to see your list of either Monstera or Alocasia next!!
My crystallinum is doing so well and I’m loving it more every time I look at it! It does seem to size up pretty easily. I would LOVE to have a red crystallinum one day 😍
I bought the 2nd anthurium that you talked about this morning before I watched this video! It’s my first anthuriums. How do you prevent the rush bacteria?
I know this video is about the more uncommon varieties that you have personally grown, but I think a lot of people underestimate the common grocery store Anthurium andraeanum. When mature they are practically a vine they get such long stems, and the leaves often get large with ruffled edges. I have a pale purple flowering one that is over 9 years old and a mottled red one that is even older. Both have leaves over 8 inches with prominent lime green main veins. They are easy to start your collection and practice on, and if they live are well worth letting occupy a nice bright corner. Also please do Hoyas next!
I bought my veitchii in Oct 2020 and it's always been a sturdy, yet slow and steady grower. Finally 3 years later, it's pushing 2 beautiful LARGE leaves, wootwoot 🎉🙌 I love them for the ease. I've otherwise killed my queen within a month of getting her and my clarinervium and crystalinum have been dramatic. Veitchii for the win!!
If anyone likes the forgetii dark form, check out the anthurium peltigerium! Also has no sinus and low veins, looks very alien like the veitchii as well
oh wow I just googled the peltigerum and it looks a bit as if it could have been a veitchii forgettii dark form hybrid with those looks (Not saying that it is!! Just that they look like it!!)!!! Really cool!!!!
Totally agree! I love my Dr Blocks Crystal hybrids! I bought multiple with the last release of the Zara x Michelle F3, and they are all at full size already and have been putting out inflos since spring! I started cross pollinating them and they average about 275 seeds per inflo, and I can't wait to see what all of them grow up to look like. I love learning new things! Thank you for all you share as well!
Can I blame you for my Red Crystallinum obsession? I now got a few RC hybrids and 5 baby RC seedlings. Lol😅 I’m also loving Doc Block Michelle, Zara x Michelle, and Carlablackiae. BVEP seems to be really hot at the moment too. Would love to know your thoughts about all these trendy fancy anthuriumsss.
Interesting I really regret buying Vitchii, yes I agree with you, it doesn’t grow. I also agree Crystallanium has to be on top. You will never meet some one saying not liking or having a problem with Crystallanium.

Just got a baby (4 inch pot) crystallinum about 4 weeks ago. She shared her first new leaf with me and it’s beautiful! Please do Alocasia, then monstera next.

I’ve only had the most basic anthuriums with the red/pink flowers before but I have a clarinervium in the mail on the way to me right now! I’ve wanted one for so long. I can’t wait! I vote syngonium next or calethea.
Couldn’t agree more about the vittarifolium, I have a small one and the 1st leaf its given me is like 5x as long as the little ones, its so shimmery right now but is equally gorgeous when it because real leathery, I love it 🤩
I haven't had time to keep up with your videos lately. This video you kept mentioning "getting them to size". Do you have any videos talking about what you do to achieve this? Be interested to see what the process is like, what you look out for etc

Hey Kaylee, do you ever take care of seedlings or grow seedlings from seeds? If you do, it’ll be very helpful if you felt like making a video talking about how you take care of different seedlings of different plant species because you’re the rare plant queen!
The A. Veitchii is the one Anthurium I really, really want - I don't have a single one as of now, but that one is on my wish list. But yes- it's not as easy to come by (in Norway, too), and I am still waiting for the price to match my ability 😅🤣❤️
I have been into plants for about a year maybe a little less I don't have a single anthemium yet but I really really really want the antharian vietchii They are so beautiful
I think Anthurium veitchii grow very unpredictable and wild. They take up a lot of room and don’t look that nice. The leaves are amazing and if it grew more compact and on the same direction, it would be so much cooler.
I love anthurium but I struggle with most of them 😭 HOYA HOYA HOYA please! I’m so curious to see what your Hoyas look like now. It’s been a long time since you have shown them.
Would love to see ALOCASIA next!
Someone needs to send Kaylee a photo of anthurium red spider

Just got a baby (4 inch pot) crystallinum about 4 weeks ago. She shared her first new leaf with me and it’s beautiful! Please do Alocasia, then monstera next.
I think anthurium papillillaminum is a worthy mention. As for the veitchii, the super narrow seems to be quite popular. At least in Canada.
Veitchii always reminds me of whipped cream. If you use a hand mixer it makes trails in the cream that looks just like those leaves.
I’m was unsure about veitchii and then bought a big one and oh my gosh!!!! Love it!!! I do agree it’s the big leaves that make it
I’d also recommend the anthurium dorayaki silver and anthurium silver blush.
I expected Anthurium besseae on the list. But love this list regardless. I definitely would love to purchase a dark boy from you when I move apartments next year.
I want to see all the “top 10” videos but the one I’d love to see next is the syngonium video! ☮️🪴
Love the video and was wondering if you might be able to do a video specific to the Delta Force and go into detail how you can spot the real one from the fakes, maybe with different pictures for reference to explain the differences? Would be awesome to have some insight into this for someone who is not an expert on this subject anf would love to buy a real one 🤗🥰
P.S.: Alocasia and Monstera Favourites would be awesome next 🎉
I would love to see the alocasia for the next one 😊
Do hoyaaaaaaaa and also open shipping up to the US!! We want that fertilizer
I have a veitchii king, 2 clarinervum (love how the white veins glitter in the sun!!), 2 pedato-radiatum, 2 podophylum and on the way are two Crystal, and two Vitt's!
I highly recommend veichii it's so beautiful and easy I have two narrow and a variation form. In Europe it is in most rare plant shops available.
I bought baby clarinervium in 2019. And its like the slower plant to grow. The diameter of the biggest leaf now is only around 15 cm. And you know, i have it for 5 years already
I found your video because I was just gifted a baby red crystallinum x lux and its my first anthurium! Now I'm even more excited than I was.
Love the video, monstera (and rhaphidophora) and scindapsus next please!
Syngonium!
Alocasia
Monstera
Hoya
Epipremnum/Scindapsus
Great video, as always. I’d love to see a Monstera & an Epipremnum version of this too
I love the floppiness of Vietchii. I can't wait for mine to size up!
Anthurium Papillilaminum 😭 probably closest related to the Crystallinum so care is pretty similar but omg. Pretty boy.
Orchids. Do you have any? Do you plan on getting any? I think at some point you had a terrarium with jewel orchids. What other orchids have you tried?
I have a huge, mature veitchii that I adore! I will say they do best hanging as they get very long petioles and take up a lot of space. However I also agree that they aren't much to look at as small specimens, but if you can deal with them and grow them large, totally epic plant that's an easy keeper.
Alocasia would be amazing ✨
I just bought an anthurium vittarifolium as my first anthurium and I’m so excited! Glad to hear it’s a hardier plant
I have a veitchii and love it! Huge long ripple patterned, it was not easy to find here in Ontario Canada, but I was lucky to find it from another collector who grew it. Looks amazing amongst my plant collection.
I’ve only had the most basic anthuriums with the red/pink flowers before but I have a clarinervium in the mail on the way to me right now! I’ve wanted one for so long. I can’t wait! I vote syngonium next or calethea.
I’m not an Anthurium fan, but I am a fan of you!! So I’ll watch!
Couldn’t agree more about the vittarifolium, I have a small one and the 1st leaf its given me is like 5x as long as the little ones, its so shimmery
right now but is equally gorgeous when it because real leathery, I love it 🤩
ALOCASIA!!!!!!!
I love the way you talk and pronounce the words... music to my ear :) Love your videos - from the Philippines
I haven't had time to keep up with your videos lately. This video you kept mentioning "getting them to size". Do you have any videos talking about what you do to achieve this? Be interested to see what the process is like, what you look out for etc
Love this! Loved the last one too. Do monstera next!!!
This is the video we have all been waiting for!!!!
Would love to get your top 10 alocasia next too! Xx
My favourite atm is besseae aff, but hope in future I will be able to get the real besseae. And I love my michelle from doc block. On wishlist I have ace of soades, bvep/antolakii, goliath and clarinervium lithium
I want a King but I want the narrow form and I can only find the wide form in my local shop.
Kaylee, alocasia next please :-) I´d love to see marantaceae too :-)
I agree with your anthurium list except for no. 10 Veitchii ) - for me I´d place there anthurium villenaorum - very nice, sturdy and very easy-going plant that one simply can´t dislike 🙂
I LOVE my veitchii!!
I have the luxurian and it is so beautiful and requires almost no work and I have a king and its doing well. Have to watch the humidity though
Veitchii and warocqueanum are plants I’d love but fear getting them as I’ve only had experience with andreanum
Alocasia!
Just got my fertiliser today hope it dose my plants well

I am not an anthurium person, but the veitchii is on my wish list. I see them here in the states but they are expensive.
Alocasia, Epipremnum, and Monstera!
My favorites would monstera deliciosa as well! Also lemon lime maranta ❤
Wow your makeup looks amazing
Crystallinum is my top 1 and love the dark form forgetti I bought by accident and love it
Ooh! What about goth plant RPI for October? Love the videos
YES
Oooo so… Veitchii is totally on my wishlist actually! Really think it’ll be the next one I get. I just think it’s cool, dunno why 😂
Love you video i have not seen some of theses in shops
Tezula dreamweaver x necromancer is my dream plant 😍
I love king, and how easy it is to thrive.
I think Anthurium veitchii grow very unpredictable and wild. They take up a lot of room and don’t look that nice. The leaves are amazing and if it grew more compact and on the same direction, it would be so much cooler.
Thank you for the video it was great!
I love anthurium but I struggle with most of them 😭 HOYA HOYA HOYA please! I’m so curious to see what your Hoyas look like now. It’s been a long time since you have shown them.
Alocasia gets my vote!
Loooove the forgetii dark form !!
I did see Clarinervium in a garden centre (box store) last week, in The Netherlands. Don't know whether it is seasonal here as well
Would love Alocasia next❤
I just bought a Veitchii I can’t wait for it to get here
Yesss new video up!
I would love to see Syngonium next 🥰
Sooo can we start calling the hybrid of A. Pedatoradiatum and Clarinervium a “Delta FALSE”? Or perhaps, “Delta FARCE”? …maybe? …thoughts? ha 😂
The #4 your mystery dark boi is a Anthurium Modeanum
I'd like to see a hoya, alocasia and marantacea lists too!!!
Please do Alocasia next😀
