It has been an interesting relationship with cutting my hair but I am now on the path of learning how to take care and style my beard. This man is a saint. A beard shaping by a million cuts. I have got to give him credit. This is why I would be more comfortable with HIM trimming my beard or shaping it. He is SO MUCH MORE PATIENT than I am. Which is why I end up with OOPS ! Or go to a Man Barber or Lady Barber who are licensed with a blade to cut. Me = I just grow it. Or try. This nice man seems like a GIANT in the MAN BEARD WORLD ! If he were not shy, and smiled once in a while for the camera = he would have the audience MELTING. (guaranteed).

Great beard man. I love that it really follows the shape of the face. I wasn't sure what the technical name for this beard style was, now I do. I have a round face, so this style will definitely benefit me. Because currently, I can bring the sides in when I style it out of a shower, but eventually they will just poof out and look rounded. They key is to trim more on the bottom corners of the chin/jaw it seems,
About what length should my beard before styling it, I made the mistake of trimmin it close and then deciding i wanted to go with a ducktail.
I've been growing my beard since lockdown started too. But i notice my beard is getting really wavy which takes of my beard shape. Any suggestions as to how to make it less wavy?
Nice 💪 Not sure how long your beard is but for some people the waves become less with length. If not; have you tried using a hairdryer and comb? Or a beard straightener?
@@DHRME Alright..i havent used a hairdryer or straightener as of now as my beard lenght is about 3 inches long.. i comb it regularly but the waves remain the same.. anyways i will try a hairdryer or straightener..Thnx..

My beard is only really thick towards my chin and over my lips (moustache to be specific) what do I do about that or should I abandon this idea?

My natural beard consists of essentially a ball of steel wool and it's incredibly thin around the cheeks 😂
Even longer stubble on the chin is perfectly fine for the van dyke. Google balbo as well.. might suit you too.
