first impressions of the Goldtop Quilted Cafe Racer motorcycle gloves

After twenty years of riding i've bought my first pair of gloves that are not of the ultra-budget variety! Do they measure up to their higher price tag?
Goldtop are a British motorcycle outfitters that have been around since the early 50s and their gear fits nicely with the rockabilly style and has a great reputation, but are the gloves i got from them any good?
Here's a vlog of my initial thoughts.
