the first part of the video was funny because someone was pushing the button which made 31's act like they're doing march time. but i do know they only do continuous when they are not on a panel.

How come AC horns are only used for scoreboards and other purposes and not for fire alarms anymore
DC devices are more efficient. You can get more devices on a single circuit

Do not pull fire alarms in public buildings unless you have permission which in this case you do or if there is a real fire but if it’s not for those reasons do not pull fire alarms in public buildings as you can get fined $500 and go to jail for 6 months

@@kansasfirealarms5101 as much as I respect the grandfather act and older systems, this place definitely could use an upgrade. At least a system that can latch into alarm with automatic detectors.
@Marc Leslie I mean I’ve seen systems with old 120 VAC horns on dc panels. Just an AC power supply and a relay is needed. However replacing the system probably is necessary
