If they are still alive, even serving life in prison, they can still have a chance at a shift in power and the possibility of release one day. I actually didn't know about any of it, and it is interesting in its own right; a big indicator of the complete and utter mistrust the populace now has for the journalist class. When people learn about the lies, the deception, the dishonest narratives, they tend to attribute any inconsistencies to malfeasance right away; the worst thing is, jumping to conclusions isn't entirely unjustified these days.

Who describes a car hitting a bike and taking off as a "bike crash"? Absolutely nobody!
The murder was LIVE STREAMED so no, it did not take days for people to see it. Police have already stated they had the video from the beginning. The reporter is just taking credit for getting it to the police. Even if someone let them know about the video later, it is a given the existence of the video would be reported. I am sure the conversation included mentioning of telling the police but anyone with an IQ above that of a stop sign would have said that so.....
The police knew it was a murder already so this reporter had nothing to do with moving that along.
