I am of course against harming innocent civilians. Given that, it has been actually proved that Israel has harmed more of its own citizens during and since the 7th compared to what Hamas did. Israel have mistakenly targeted civilians and civilian cars during the 7th, and some ~60 hostages have died due to the bombings in Gaza. And actually it's a well-known tactic of Israel that they'd rather kill their own civilians than letting them be hostages to Hamas. It has been proven (see the IDF shared names of victims who died on the 7th on X/twitter), most of them are generals or lieutenants, approximately two thirds.
Also, speaking of hostages and prisoners, have you ever learned about Palestinian children who get stuck for tens of years in Israeli prisons without any charges and for the pettiest of reasons. What would you even expect after exposing people to all this abuse and injustice for years and years? Ass kissing??
And if I'm gonna just go along with you and tell you "okay, fuck Hamas, they are fucking terrorists". Can you please justify wtf is happening rn in the west bank?? Regarding these protesters, it just shows that once they are challenged with a different point of view, their thought patterns start to collapse. I was pretty neutral when this conflict first started, but after observing the pro Palestine people lie about absolutely everything, I am firmly sided with Israel. That doesn't mean every pro Israel person and the Israeli government is always honest, all the time, it's war, people will always seek to manipulate, but the Israel side is the only side even attempting to be honest.
