@@matthewtemkin4726 Very nice. There is an excellent interview with Allard by Massad Ayoob over on ProArmsPodcast. I posted a small clip (Tales of the Gunfight) of a crazy shootout involving Allard and Cirillo. The full interview is very interesting, to say the least.
@ me too!! I’m sure he would have had you in his kitchen for a cappuccino and a story any day! I find people posing about him every now and again and I think “dang… he was something alright!!”
@@katrinacirillo1396 a while back, I posted "Tales of the Gunfight - Bill Allard" Bill was your grandfather's partner at the time. The clip I posted is a description of a crazy fight that they got into, with a link to a full interview with Allard.
I miss your Grandpa he was was like family to me and my siblings. Uncle Jim used to eat at our restaurant all the time and tell us stories about when he was our age.
Working with Jim was always a blast; he had a great sense of humor and always had your back no matter what. I felt just as safe with him as I did with my fellow Marines in Southeast Asia.
We are so fortunate that Jim lived in an era where his wisdom could be captured and preserved in video in addition to print, and now digitally. Years after this presentation was filmed; years after his passing, everything he says still rings true although the landscape has changed and now there are fewer with badges, more predators, and in many places, more citizens carrying firearms who also need to hear this.
One of the greatest gunfighters of the 20th century, thank you for uploading this.
Absolutely. Thank you for watching
I met Jimmy at a training conference in NJ (IALEFI) in the early 2000’s
I also used to hunt at the same hunting lodge with his partner Bill Allard.

This was my grandfather. It’s indescribable to randomly hear one of his many many stories again. Amazing upload
Very Cool. I wish I could've met your grandfather. And I wish I had more recordings of him. Thanks for commenting.

That guy kept the grave diggers working overtime back in the day 👍
And the shop stores owners safe
Just how many people did he shoot?.. Most cops never get to pull a gun out...
A wealth of knowledge!!! Great writer as well. His books are great.
Its important to hear the real deal from the real deal.
Yes indeed
Great upload.
Words of wisdom 😊
