great list! im so excited to see a great player like you put their twist on the deck and perform well with it! I have a question tho! What would you side out in this list for the phantazmays for example, i find siding is the most difficult part with this deck, esp. maintaining the attribute balance doing so.
You have a few options. Generally it is some combinations of extra durendals (or small worlds if you play it), the kash field spell, the 3rd pot or any hand trap that is subpar like crow. The nice thing with phantazmay is going second it is a pseudo starting, so cutting something like durendal doesn't feel bad because you still get phantazmay to dig for razen.
Moving forward to PHNI, would you still consider playing 3 durendal with how much tagging out is in the format? Also how would your nonengine change to account for the new best decks? Keep up the good work and content!
Hard to say this early on. Inscription is an option to consider, I haven't tested it enough to conclude whether you can break the fire king boards after using inscription or not. Some combination of hand traps is still reasonable. I'll still play at minimum 2 durendal; the third or small worlds will have to be decided later.
I personally think it's a tier 1 or 1.5 deck right now but after PHNI it will likely move down to tier 2. The fire decks in both fire kings and race are not good matchups. You at least have inscription and shifter for fire kings; race is brutal to play against since there is no real silver bullet. That being said, if it is a hand trap format, the deck should still perform well against the other variety of decks. It also has a great matchup into the other shifter decks (minus exo but that one probably won't be super popular) so the deck is definitely playable still. Just need a bit extra luck when performing at higher events.
The shifter shotgun is somewhat matchup dependent. You need to shot gun versus fire kings because their first action can be the normal summon of arvata which would turn it off. Against everything else it's probably safe to hold if you aren't scared of talents. Going in blind I'd hold it. There are a lot of shifter decks like Kash and VS that punish you for shotgunning and even if the shifter is dead in your hand it is still an attribute. I don't think I'd play princess; I find myself very rarely link climbing.
I don't have an abundance of spare time at the moment so I'll have to decline the coaching. As for advice with exosisters; the deck is similar to what it was in the past. I wouldn't play hard breakers in the main anymore (dark ruler or evenly), some combination of hand traps and thrust/talents. Vadis can steal games by itself right now so using thrust to get into that is very safe. Siding inscription is also a safe card for next format.
A lot of your tech cards (especially post side) trade well into lab. Caesar being able to force backrow is also very key. The lab matchup is definitely NOT unlosable but it should be favored. If you are playing versus lab, try to set up live caesar first turn so if they furniture you can just pop it, and play for advantage. Making so you also get as much value as possible out of your engine is the goal (so using rock add back more than specialing to get more bodies for example).
I have been having success playing 3 smallworld, 1 durendal and 1 rota. Which gives room for more no-engine and at the same time with smallworld you have access to fenrir/pank. Do you think that 3 prosperity are mandatory?
I would never cut prosperity, but the list that top 32ed Bologna played zero. His ratios are very different so if you don't want to play pot I'd recommend doing something similar to his build.
I'm emotionally invested in this channel. I've already told my grandma to subscribe
It’s about time you made a channel let’s gooo
Excited to see profiles from this 3v3 and Vegas three V 3 I see council of robina went crazy at the Costa Rica 3v3
Thanks for the insights! Great profile.

Hi Steven congrats for topping !
I was wondering, what is your opinion on the deck going into the PHNI format ?
Also It's great that you made a channel, I subbed

Loved the profile! Are you shutguning shifter in sp?
Also do you think it will be worth it playing princess?

Hey Steven, are you available for coaching or advice on Exosister in the current format?

@@SantoliYugioh Thank you very much
Kind of new to this deck. How is it that VS has a good lab matchup? I normally get cooked. What can I do to improve my matchup?
A lot of your tech cards (especially post side) trade well into lab. Caesar being able to force backrow is also very key. The lab matchup is definitely NOT unlosable but it should be favored. @@SantoliYugioh Thank you. Do you think VS stands any sort of chance in this wild fire meta?
Yet another top for my king

Good content
I know there isnt any 'perfect' replacement for fenrir package, but would anyone have any recommendations to replace it?
You can try the superheavy samurai package if you want, but fenrir is basically a vanquish soul card in my eyes.
Yeah! Fenrir is an absolute house of a card! Def gonna try the SHS stuff. WIsh fenrir was more accessible or better yet, banned.@@SantoliYugioh
Can we get a post PHNI profile?
It is on my list of things to do, but it will likely be a bit while I fiddle with other decks first.
Do you think Pantera is mandatory?
Yes, let's you put a body down if they interact with your first summon. Also the spell/trap pop comes up.
as much as i dislike small world i think vs should play atleast 2
even with prosp at 3 the deck is bricky
anyways congrats on your top
Great video. Just slow down, sounds like you have to go use the bathroom and are talking too fast to get the video over with
I think talking fast is just a Canadian thing I watch the happy console gamer and he also talks really fast
Rock is the best card in the extra deck tho...
Which means it is the biggest choke point.
Cutie 🥵😍
