I don't like the confliction with leading ext. I also think it is not that amazing this format. A lot of maliss combos play through it, even paired. When you can use the body for fiendsmith combos, it gets a lot better. But in pure the body is a liability, so I just rather not play it.

I am playing at Orlando. I think pure is a reasonable call and Mitsurgi is a scary matchup going second. Puralia and droll are good tools against it. I'm trying to figure out something better but that is where I am at currently. Crossout is a fine card. It is good especially with the starliege lines but it is a card that makes decklists and siding a bit more awkward so I opt not to play it.

They are a higher ceiling but somewhat clunky. I think mitsurgi ryzeal, pure ryzeal and fiendsmith ryzeal are all decent decks and it's a matter of preference on what to play.

I think it's still worth the spot. You have SOOO much room for non-engine, I rather have 1 sub par draw for increased ceiling.

You naturally get to field spell through your combo and it isn't a dark to use with allure. So while the card is good, it isn't so good that you want to truly max it at 4 copies.

I would not. Side patterns into FS Ryzeal are: 3 slayer, 1 called by, 1 Fuwa You can prevent that deck from comboing, and cut off the FS engine with Bystials. So that if they lancea you on the pass back, a TyPhon + non-engine can break the ryzeal set up and force them to build up their board again to apply pressure

Ryzeal Cross

The ryzeal matchup for vanquish soul is surprisingly decent. Maliss can be a bit harder but you can play the blow outs for the matchup (kurikara and belle). The biggest issue is the consistency of vanquish soul is just really rough with 1 pot. That needs to be fixed before anything else.

@ Good to know! I assumed detonator would be a problem cuz it could pop Razen for example when you attempt to tag. Is it imperm/fenrir baiting it out first that makes the match up decent?

The only engine I cut is 1 desires, called by and field in the mirror going second. After that, I side out tech cards for better tech cards. Don't just pile in all your tech cards in every scenario; you need to choose the best ones for the room that you have.
