Thanks for sharing Floss, looks like a brilliant week was had there. I thought I was pushing my luck going to Alpe D'Huez at the end of February given there was so much melting going on and the snow line was so high! So a bit jealous now as my trip feels like an age ago now... Here's to next season though!! 🙂
You raise a good point with level 3. Not sure he w many people realise that it is a combination of factors that are all rated at 3 so the scale increases exponentially. 3 is usually when the best powder is to be found and the stuff that's fun to ski is over 30° both of which are in the risky area. Looks like there was likely wind slab around where you are. That's the difference between a professional like yourself and an amateur such as myself, my lack of experience would keep me away from where you were skiing. Just got back from Madonna where the first day there was so much snow falling you could get fresh tracks every run and by the afternoon there was no need to find itineraries as the pistes were deep and fluffy and pretty much empty as I'm sure many of the beginners that the resort attracts would have found it very hard work
Hi Stephen good to hear from you...La Grande Caisse 👉ruclips.net/video/vYy1KemZBvM/видео.htmlsi=geGYQ-E7zB3ZVEGH it is this video ...haven`t had the fitness and weather window for it yet...
Hi Floss, Hope you are still getting in some great skiing but for those of us who's season has ended do you have any tips for putting away our skis for the summer?
You are working where? I am feeling a little better everyday. Will finally get to see the orthopedic surgeon later this week and I suspect/hope he will say I am doing fine.

enjoy the reports but please, try not to wave so much at camera, its distracting!
I have to agree, edit it out and then the video will truly be first class! Thanks
😂 the waving helps me getting my words out ...talking to the camera is difficult ..will try to wave less
@@FreeFloFloss nice one!
