Awesome can’t wait to finish my terrain and get started on learning to play great videos they helped with all my minifigs
thats great, I really hope you enjoy the hobby. Its a lot of fun
This has been an awesome series Michael, I love a bit of terrain, think it’s great you’ve picked out details whilst making sure it doesn’t distract from the minis on the board too!
Thank you. I'm not great at terrain so I this method of just washes and dry brushes makes things a lot easier. I have sent you an e-mail by the way if you didn't see
@@TableTopReadyRUclips I think it looks really good. I can imagine you could get lost trying to pick out every single detail if you weren’t careful so this is a great approach!
Will have a look now!
I've got this terrain sitting around unpainted so this will be useful
may as well. this is a really quick way of painting it, you'll do it in a weekend
@@TableTopReadyRUclips I'm happy to say that basecoats are down! For me this is a big deal because this has been gray plastic for so long, thank you for this tutorial!
Hey, you’ve been doing amazing work! Can’t wait to see you paint the new 10th Edition boxes!
Thank you. I’m so excited and eager for 10th and I’m already thinking about what I want to do 😃 it can’t come soon enough
Amazing stuff! Just about to start painting my first terrain and will be using this!

Great tutorial as always Michael. Have you seen the 10th edition reveals? Can't wait for your new Tyranid videos when they come out
I'm super excited. I'll be making plenty of content for it as well when it's released
Nice one, thanks!
🙏🏻
I just watched the official painting tutorial for this set, yet this is infinitely better and even closer to how it looks on the box.
I really appreciate these tutorials! Any chance for a how to of the Ork terrain in Kill Team Octarius? Thanks to you my Ork Kommandos look great
Thank you, I really appreciate the comment. I do want to do more Terrain tutorials, its just having the time to do it. hopefully one day I can have other people helping me on the channel so we can get more content made. :)

Very great content !!! TY
thank you, I appreciate the comment :)
The best 40k painting tutorials on RUclips.
Fantastic job as always, Michael..... Keep up the excellent work 👌
1 quick question: what would you suggest as alternative base colours for terrain which is more metallic/industrial? (Thinking along the lines of the Ork Kill Team terrain and the Ad Mech terrain that is available).
Thank you :) watch my painting Ork Vehicles. Undercoat silver, washes and dry brushes etc then paint the details.
Nicely done.
thank you
Great video 😊
Thank you

@@TableTopReadyRUclips Thanks Michael, love your videos.
why didn't you rotate each element of the terrain separately on camera?
🤔 I guess I was running out of time and completely forgot to sort this shots out 🤦🏼♂️
Alr
Lets watch it
lets go
@@TableTopReadyRUclips are you too exited for 10th Edition?
Alr
Is there will be any dreadnoughts?
There will probably be dreadnoughts when the new edition comes out 😁 hopefully
@@TableTopReadyRUclips noice
I mean
I love these mega chomkers
You should make the same kind of video for Age of Sigmar!
That's the plan, as soon as I can fit it in somewhere :P
@@TableTopReadyRUclips Nice
I think you are making a critical mistake here Micheal; why on earth would you paint in all the coloured details before washing and drybrushing the largest part of these terrain pieces; the bone coloured wall sections ?? i looked up the official warhammer guide of this, and they tackle just the bone colour first; washing, mutiple stages of drybrush; and only then move on and colour in the red doorways, metallics, cables, etc etc. I just got them assembled and primed in wraithbone, and this thouroughly confused the hell out of me. Simply because i know you are an absolute unit of a painter, even following mostly the Eavy Metal way of painting?! Ive seen you hitting all those lovely painted in details with the drybrush ment for just the wall sections?
I dont get it??
This is a tutorial in a series of videos made for absolute beginners. using a limited amount of paints. I wanted to show people who have never painted before how they can paint terrain in a very basic way that still looks good using very easy techniuqes
