I sell used sporting goods for a while. A lot of conditioning, cleaning, and refurbishment goes in to it. I’ll tell you what tho, the best way to clean soles and solid pieces of the shoe is dawn dish soap mixed with water in a spray bottle, spraying the shoe liberally on the outside, spraying your magic eraser so it doesn’t flake, and going to town. If it’s wet it won’t remove any factory finishes or glossy material, but tears through dirt. Use a soft bristle brush for everything else.

Wash it with water then dry it with paper/an old newspaper,it works for me!
use less cleaner than you think you need and wipe with a cloth, then wipe with a another dry cloth

Another pro tip for cleaning the rubber parts: a normal everyday eraser you’d erase your mistakes with work wonders! :-)

when your tooth brush is old don't throw it away, re-purpose it.
Make sure you wash off the baking soda very well, else it will make them feel gritty.
Throw the laces in a oxi clean and warm water container, the oxi clean will help them whiten up more

i suggest using a mix of toothpaste, baking soda, and vinegar with water for the entire sneaker. It cleans them really well for me!
