Rebecca Shaw's books are definitely a really quaint, 'feel good' read. I enjoy them so much.
I am also pleased to read that you think my recommendations are 'rare'. I do enjoy bringing old, forgotten or unusual books, back to people's attention. I really do hope you like them and read them if you can get copies. I try not to recommend the latest or the most popular books, but those that have meaning for me or that I have enjoyed immensely.

Rebecca Shaw's books are a beautiful, quaint read - just that 'comfy, cosy' type of novel/series. I do recommend her writing.
The cookbook by Jimmy and Jane is truly lovely. I will let you all know once I have cooked from it.
