@kdefender7780 both Hutton and Freestone wrote what I consider to be extremely disrespectful books about Mercury's private life and illness. I know some fans want to hear those details and they probably needed the money, but that doesn't change what they did. Mercury was apparently surrounded by vultures; it's no wonder he was lonely, and no wonder he willed everything to Austin.
He looked tall here. And i loved that he maintained his slim body. Michael is beautiful, his beautiful face does not get compromised when he slims down or gets on the thicker side.
The previous year Michael and his brothers sold out the Forum for four nights in a row breaking records. Freddie here took a break after the shows and started working with MJ on Thriller and sadly none of the music was released.
Nothing against Michael Jackson and brothers but selling out 4 nights at the Forum was not a record breaker...Led Zep sold out the Forum for six nights in 1977.
I was expecting Queen and MJ to bump into each other backstage, instead MJ was walking quietly with the crew far back, how sweet and humble can he get ♥️ RIP to both legends
There is a Rolling Stone magazine profile from February 1983 where the author interviews Michael Jackson and accompanies him to the Queen concert. This precise scene is described in the article. Apparently, Michael was was remarking how pumped Fredie was to go on stage, and how much he envied that feeling!
i wonder if Michael got inspiration for the beat it video scene with the 2 guys pulling out switchblades on each other cause i thought it was that guy from the thumbnail.
AHHHHHH!!!!!! HOW FREAKING COOL WAS THAT!!!!!!! THAT WAS A RAD MOMENT RIGHT THERE!!!! MIKE HANGING OUT WITH THE BAND!!!!! one more time..... AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Lololol!!!!!
This may be one of those Queen concerts in Los Angeles where backstage, Michael Jackson suggested to Freddie Mercury and ultimately convinced Queen that "Another One Bites the Dust" be released as a single in America. Evidentially, that was some VERY GOOD advice because it topped the charts! And then shortly after, Michael goes on to release the biggest selling album of all time globally lol. Both LEGENDS in their own right. Respect
i believe jackson was a deeply spiritual soul whose decline was parallel to the world becoming a more harsh and plastic [ironically] place, to see him without a care in the world here and to think of what he became is deeply deeply sad
That is nonsense? what exactly he became??? he was exactly the same person, not any crazier or eccentric as the press said and lied about. the only that happened to him is he became depressed and lonely after those false child abuse allegations agaisnt him!! of course he guarded himself and closed off more, but he was always the same humble and kind soul ! but its normal his state of mind wasnt like when he was younger. Anyone would have gone nuts with those stupid trials
Freddie & Michael were in two different leagues, Freddie in rock & from across the pond and Michael in pop and American. Having said that and this is a fact, Michael adored & emulated Freddie. Michael was smart by studying Freddie. Too bad the American media never gave the kind of respect that Freddie deserved.

phartley58 Why is that weird? MJ was also a HUGE fan of James Brown who was his biggest influence and mentor. He said that James Brown and Jackie Wilson’s concerts were the best he’s ever attended in all his life. The Bee Gees Saturday Night Fever album influenced him to make a hit record. He also became very good friends with one of The Bee Gees band mates, Barry Gibbs, and they did a duet together which was never officially release called “All in His Name”. You can find it here on RUclips. phartley58 Yes The Bee Gees LoL. I was surprised when I learned of this too! But, Facts are facts. He ALWAYS stated this in his interviews and personal conversations. Michael Jackson NEVER stated that he was a fan of Queen. Even in the personal conversation that MJ has with his friend Brett Ratner in the video link that I posted for you above, Michael NEVER mentions Queen. He saw Freddie Mercury as a good prospect to collaborate with but it was purely just business. He did not idolize or was ever mind blown by Queen.

Mercury was apparently surrounded by vultures; it's no wonder he was lonely, and no wonder he willed everything to Austin.
Who else keep rewinding from the time he appeared .., gosh even his back is soo hot!
He looked tall here. And i loved that he maintained his slim body.
Michael is beautiful, his beautiful face does not get compromised when he slims down or gets on the thicker side.
I LOVE THAT BLUE BLAZER😭😭 it was so perfect with him❤️
You know you're the biggest band in the world when Michael Jackson is in your encourage
Umm this freddy he really is a freaking legend mj somehow silently follow them like good student 😝..
Freddy badass
@@deathchronicles6960 They were friends.
@@deathchronicles6960 MJ wasn’t a student lol he was the Principal
The previous year Michael and his brothers sold out the Forum for four nights in a row breaking records. Freddie here took a break after the shows and started working with MJ on Thriller and sadly none of the music was released.
...until 2014 or so.
@@marywealth6475 , they remixed the one song for an official release
@@1980Triumph how old were Freddie and MJ here ?
@@STARLIGHT_KSA MJ was 23 and I believe Freddie was 35.
Lololol!!!!!
king and queen of pop
I don't see Elvis Presley, so no king here.
***** Elvis did rock not pop
Norton on poistaa
Lol. Queen played rock, too, not pop as the first comment says.
***** did i say they did pop? no
I was reffering at Zemmed14.
Two legends together!!! ❤️😇
At the end you can see Michael shaking hands with another man. Very cool seeing his smile and how delighted he was at the time. What a time.
Thank you for posting this! Legends! 💜
красавец писаный. Обожаю этот костюм. Фредди в нем великолепен.
Two Legend's ...
Respect
'AOBTD' was 1980. 'Don't Stop Believin'', I believe, was 1981.
@@marywealth6475 This was 1982.

So Facts Only's theory is disproven.
Two big ones on stage... I get so emotional, guys. I miss them soooo much... Thank you for sharing!
Love this. Even before MJ turns his head in profile to shake hands, you can tell by his walk that’s it’s him.
God! Freddie just way too cool & having much charisma,
Hello Michelle, how are you doing?
When you see your favorite artists walk together
An absolute WOW moment in history of music!
how precious🥺 the only one to stop and take the time to shake that guys hand.
Great video! Something that happend and could never be replicated.
i believe jackson was a deeply spiritual soul whose decline was parallel to the world becoming a more harsh and plastic [ironically] place, to see him without a care in the world here and to think of what he became is deeply deeply sad
GriefTourist what did he "become" though? The man was innocent.
GriefTourist Shut the fuck up Don
You weird spiritual bastard
not true, don't believe the media bollocks
i agree, he doesnt fit into our era. he'll be far more famous after we're all gone.
Michael once again is literally showing you why he’s king....
Also MJ loved India & Freddie was Indian. They both had the same humble respectful attitude.
@@globalcitizenn No , he was Parsi from Iran , moved to India some generations before , because they were Zoroastrian and not Muslim . There is a big Parsi community in India for the same reason. He was Born in Zanzibar , were the father and family moved to work , then to England
Notice how warmly Michael smiles, makes eye contact and shakes the stranger's hand, at a moment when his mind could have been in so many places.
Soooo Queen walks out listening to Journey...and MJ is behind them? This is pretty damn Epic
Damn, that was really Michael Jackson. I didn't know he was a big fan of queen. :)
Alyssa Cruz MJ was more a fan of The Bee Gees (as a band) as he always stated. I think he and Freddie became friends and developed a fondness towards each other, as they both hung out in LA and had common friends. Elizabeth Taylor being one of them...
phartley58 Why is that weird? MJ was also a HUGE fan of James Brown who was his biggest influence and mentor. He said that James Brown and Jackie Wilson’s concerts were the best he’s ever attended in all his life. The Bee Gees Saturday Night Fever album influenced him to make a hit record. He also became very good friends with one of The Bee Gees band mates, Barry Gibbs, and they did a duet together which was never officially release called “All in His Name”. You can find it here on RUclips. I’ve put a link below of MJ talking to one of his friends about all of his favorite artists and influences in case you’d like to hear it coming directly from him and not me lol
ruclips.net/video/i92rA5OsgaY/видео.html
phartley58 Yes The Bee Gees LoL.
@@factsonly4124 yes he was, you JUST HATE THEM
Hello Alyssa, how are you doing?
Remember that Michael loved British artists - Queen, Bowie, Jagger etc and probably got as much influence from them as US equivalents
Nah MJ wasn’t influenced by them they were by him he was popular as a child before them and his style was impeccable
How did the world not blow up???
Michael encouraged Freddie and Queen to put out another one bites the dust as a single
We can see how beautiful Michael was…he was stunning among people
