@@RushFan-2112 Depends on your version of the bible. Lucifer is a title, in the Latin translation of the bible this title has been attributed at least once to Jesus. Satan is a job, a persecutor in service of god. The devil/Beelzebub is the personification of evil. Samael can be that too, or merely the angel of death alongside other archangels. Usually the devil was a fallen angel who used to be satan. The most popular English translation of the bible combines all figures into the same but this isn't historic.
They popped up in my recommended feed for the first time because of the show. I've watched it 2-3 times on my own and I've watched multiple RUclips channels react to the show. It's a fantastic series.
I found it at the beginning of 2020 on RUclips through that clip with Luci and Rick on the roof in S1xE8 and fell in love with it. Got my mom to watch it as well.
I have to say, I've watched a lot of Lucifer reactions, but this is probably the first time I've seen that Trixie being compared to her parents which color me impressed. I've underestimated how much scrutiny a subject matter can be questioned when it interests them.
Yeah some people who have watched Supernatural before this usually have that misconception. The only Character(s) who has to possess a human body is Lucifer’s mom and possibly God as well since at least she’s a being of energy.

@@sopdox Yes but I'm talking about Lucifer in the TV show universe. Lucifer in biblical lore isn't a name, it's a title so that doesn't apply here anyway. Sama'el in a historic biblical context is a very different being from the devil as well.
In this show, Lucifer is the devil but he is not evil, and he is very upset by the fact that people blame him for all the evil in the world. However, he does punish people who do evil things. Love that you're watching Lucifer, because it's a great show. It has its dark moments, but it's usually just a lot of fun. Don't get hung up on the case of the week. The cases are unimportant in themselves, because this show is very character driven. But the police procedural framework is just that, a framework to hang the show on. But the cases do usually reflect something going on in Lucifer's life.
@@callmemartian8955 demons are angels that choose a horrific form to scare humans, it was a fucking celestial war, when Lucifer was kicked out, so were his followers, multitude of them
He's a fallen angel. He's not something to be praised in a tv show. He wants to destroy this world. He doesn't represent angels he represents darkness, deceit, suffering.
In the show, Lucifer isn’t much of a bad person. He punishes evil but people confuse him as being the definition of evil or the Prince of Lies yada yada. Obviously he isn’t considered a good person in the Bible or in religion but he’s just a tv show character.
The show works because of the chemistry between the cast and the dialogue between them. The police procedural parts can be a bit lame but the longer background arcs are solid.
The police parts is the clever parts though. Cuz it always match whatever issue Lucifer is having. Also love the way they always say the title of the episode. I’m rewatching all seasons and back on episode 3 of season 1
Your theories are so close yet so far... They refer to themselves as Celestial beings. The ins and outs of this interpretation of this theology are quite fun so stay tuned a lot of your questions do have answers.
This show is based on the DC comic version of Lucifer, which was originally "created" by Neil Gaiman for his Sandman comics and often (always?) drawn as David Bowie, hence the use of Bowie songs.
This is, as the credits mention, based (very loosely) on a comic book. The comic Lucifer was deliberately designed to look like David Bowie, so the Bowie song was a bit of a shout-out to that. (The music, throughout the show, is first-rate! Don't think I didn't see you singing along at one point!) ☺
As for a little background on Lucifer... Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and forced into Hell for his rebellion in Heaven, and then vilified so that everyone in the world would forever see him as the Devil, and as evil. And this is how Amenadiel sees him as well, as do all of his family, which is why Lucifer struggles so much with understanding human emotion and familial relationships. It's very sad really. But from this episode, you've already come to see that Lucifer isn't the Devil we've read about, or seen established in movies or other shows. He's very misunderstood, and we learn that while he is selfish in a lot of ways, there is also a lot of good in him as well. And he only punishes the lost and evil souls who he had come to be guardian over while living in Hell, and now the humans who are truly deserving of being punished for hurting innocent the people he and Chloe come across in their cases. People like Delilah. He isn't a killer like devils are portrayed in many other shows and movies. I love this episode's overall storyline and seeing Lucifer become involved in Detective Decker's case that he strongly forces his way into so he can bring justice to Delilah. I love the character development, and the characters are really why this show is so good. You will come to love and learn more about what makes them who they are, and you will hopefully come to love the relationships established among them all. And lastly... LUX is the name of Lucifer's nightclub that he now owns and has since he decided to stay in Los Angeles permanently. LUX is Latin for the word, light... and is a reference to Lucifer, which in Latin means Light-bringer. Overall... I love this show and I really, really enjoy this Pilot episode very much. So, thank you once again for your reaction for it, ladies! I really had a lot of fun watching this episode again with you. And I'm so happy that you're excited for more to come!!! I can't wait!! Until your next reaction for Lucifer, my friends... Be happy and stay healthy. :) Sincerely, Heidi
Actually no that's only that Lucifer in the DC universe hes more of a gray character in the comics. The devil is actually considered evil in religion and it says the evil he literally did, it's not sad at all from other medias. Only sad when it's the DC version which isn't a true accurate devil. People seriously dont know much hes not in hell punishing others hes literally the one in hell being punished hes literally evil that's the point
@@Dr.HooWhoFirst, this is a tv show, not a religious lecture. There is no such thing as a factual Devil, so he cannot be deemed “inaccurate.” There are only different degrees of fiction involved. And no, Lucifer is still a fallen angel, even in religion. It’s too simplistic to declare him “evil.” The notion that there is only good and evil is immature anyway. That’s not how people work. One needs to ask Evil to who? There are DEEDS that are evil. Not beings.
I think they don't adress it until season 2 but yes you're right : he has no gender preferences, although you see him more with women in the show, he is into both. I'm so happy that you're reacting to this ! It's great ! As it was said : once you realize the show is really not about the cases (there are a lot of inconstencies but they don't care it's really not about it) but truly about the characters and Lucifer's existencial crisis, it's so much fun and reflection too !
People already told you, just a bit of potential extra info: Lucifer is his angel name, means "bringer of light". Satan is his fallen name, derived from, or basically being a synonym for "adversary", basically. There's a huge body of mythological tradition of many religions which analyze and explain this relationship, that the one bringing knowledge (light==knowledge-bringer) is also the rebel, the adversary to the system, the destroyer/deconstructor... Jordan Peterson would be able to do a whole series of lectures just about that relationship. Edit: Oh, also, yeah Morningstar belongs to the whole (real-world, btw, all of it) bundle.
Just an FYI, Lucifer is based on a DC comics character and has a cameo in the CW's superhero crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths. The heroes traveled to a bunch of parallel Earths and Lucifer's world (Earth-666) was one of them.
This is actually based off a Comic series, for DC's mature line: Vertigo. Lucifer was inspired by David Bowie, so the song playing in his club, is a nice little nod. As the series wore on, it kind of departed from it's comic book roots, and added in a bit more biblical fantasy.
It's funny that you mentioned David Bowie. Lucifer's comic version, from DC, is inspired by David Bowie. Also, Lucifer despises Hell, but he hates people that do evil even more. That's why he said he would've had fun torturing him.
The First Celestial War was when Lucifer revolted against God, was defeated, fell, and became a fallen angel. He was actually God's favorite before he fell. One reason for his revolution was he became envious of humans for having souls, because angels don't have souls.
@@eatsmylifeYT Get what shit straight? This is not the Biblical version, the show Lucifer is based of the Dc Comic with the same name.. This show is very loosely based of the Fallen Angel Lucifer.. So, no need to be rude about something that does not apply for the show...

A simply fantastic show. It gets better the further you go and the more is explained. What's even funnier though is that it is confirmed to take place in the DC Multiverse, so Lucifer is technically the most powerful DC character put to screen (yes, even more powered than Superman, or Darkseid, or any other character besides his brother Michael and his dad, God). (Also, you're spot on- Lucifer will sleep with everyone and anyone!)
One of the craziest things about this show is that it's D.C. as in batman, the green arrow and the flash are all in the the same universe. In fact in one episode of Green arrow, some of Oliver queens friends talk to him so they can save their friends soul.

It came out in 2016. You won't be able to Binge it in time to see 5B . Season 6 is coming out next year, now that they've finished filming it last month.

Okay forget all the stereotypes about Lucifer for this show and take things how they come. Ah-men-a-deal is how you pronounce the name and he slows time when he shows up so humans can't notice him. And that's about all I can say without spoilers because your only on episode one.
Sort of fun fact: The show almost got cancelled at S3. The fans showed their support with a hashtag (I think it was #savelucifer) and when netflix took the show they save it.
Lucifer tells everyone that he's not evil he punishes the evil. One thing he said about why he chose L.A. was the weather, the women, and of course Mexican food.
In case anyone cares, Lucifer is Latin for "light-bringer." That and Morning Star both refer to the planet Venus, which is the last "star" to disappear from sight in the morning and the first "star" you can see at night. Many earlier gods who "flew too high" (Venus rising) and "fell from heaven" (Venus descending) were associated with Venus. Christians just kinda stole it and ascribed it to Lucifer, who would later be lumped together with Satan of the New Testament.
Just spent the last week watching the first series. Only ever caught bits when channel hopping. Was 18 minutes in when I said to myself in going to enjoy this. Always good T to see a well known British actor make a name for themselves in Hollywood, especially another Welsh actor

The most important thing to know about this show is that its based on the version of Lucifer that was created by award-winning fantasy author Neil Gaiman. In Gaiman's stories, Lucifer did not fall so much as he was pushed. By which I mean, yes, he did rebel against God, but Lucifer's rebellion was always in the Divine Plan, and the reasons for Lucifer's rebellion were contrived by God himself. The reason Lucifer left Hell was because one day he realized that God had used Lucifer as his stooge, was tired of being blamed for everything evil that ever happened when the truth is, he's not that evil a being, and quit. As he said to the angel sent to retrieve him in the story, "What's God going to do, send me to Hell?" Eventually god appointed two new angels to rule over Hell, but they were never as good at the job as Lucifer was.
Pilot- Thank you both very much for your reactions for this Pilot episode of Lucifer! I've only recently come into this show myself early on last year when I saw it on Netflix, and thought I would give it a shot. And I have to say that I was shocked by how quickly I became so drawn into this show and its characters, especially into Lucifer himself. So much so, that I wound up binge watching all four seasons, and even more recently season five now that it's dropped as well, within only a few days. I have immediately fallen in love with Tom Ellis as Lucifer, as well as with this show, so I am really excited that you are happy to watch it through reactions for us as well. This show is absolutely all about its characters, while the cases are more in the background. And this show is phenomenal for structuring it this way. These characters are all sensational! :) Now... Lucifer is played by Welsh actor, Tom Ellis and he's absolutely phenomenal in this role! Not to mention hot! :) I absolutely love just how charismatic and charming he is, as well as bluntly honest to a fault and naïve about human emotions. In some ways, he's much like a child in how he acts towards the humans because he struggles to understand them. And I believe this is partly the reason why one of his superpowers, or "gift from God" as he calls it, is the ability to draw out people's forbidden desires when he draws people in to look into his eyes. In doing so, it allows for Lucifer to learn what they truly want, whether they want their secret revealed or not. I love how incredibly open he is with everyone because he believes in complete honesty. And I especially love how open he is with Chloe about who he really is, and how he is never surprised or angry when no one ever believes him about being the Devil. It's hilarious. I love that he holds nothing back. After the tragic death of someone he cares about, Lucifer comes to meet Detective Chloe Decker, played by actress Lauren German, who I also really love in this show as well. And much to Lucifer's surprise, Chloe is completely immune to his charms and he's absolutely fascinated by her, which I love. Because this new partnership established within this first episode is absolutely brilliant. I love that Chloe is ice to Lucifer's fire. A perfect way to explain their partnership. Also... I really love their banter back and forth. They just have fantastic chemistry with one another. As for the rest of the established characters... I really love Chloe's daughter Trixie, and the dynamic established between her and Lucifer as well. She's sweet, funny, and just adorable. And I love how uncomfortable she makes Lucifer in the moment she hugs him in the end, since Lucifer is very uncomfortable around children. I suspect it's mostly because he's not used to being around them, since children never wind up in Hell after they die. And while Lucifer claims to hate children, he still helps Trixie at school when he deals with her bully for her. I love it! In regards to Trixie not looking like either of her parents in this show... when this show first started filming, Dan... Chloe's ex, was originally played by another actor, Nicholas Gonzalez, until he wound up getting replaced for unknown reasons by Kevin Alejandro, who plays Dan all throughout the show. Scarlett Estevez who plays Trixie, looks a lot like the original actor, which is why she was initially cast to play Chloe's and Dan's daughter. But when they recast Dan and brought aboard Kevin Alejandro to play Dan instead, either it was too late to recast the actress chosen to play the daughter too, or they came to love this adorable little actress as Trixie so much... they chose not to recast her as well. And while she might not look like either of her parents in the show, she is absolutely adorable and no one lets this little nitpick bother them. We all absolutely love Trixie. :) Next... Amenadiel is an angel, and one of Lucifer's brothers. And needless to say... they don't get along. There are reasons why yet to be explained. But Amenadiel has been tasked by God to come down to convince his brother to return to Hell, and by this point, in spite of Lucifer having claimed to be on vacation, Lucifer has decided he has no intention of ever returning to Hell. And his brother is angry with him because he believes Lucifer doesn't belong on Earth. He believes they all have a balance to maintain. Good and evil. In Amenadiel's eyes, angels are good and the Devil is evil, so of course Amenadiel is angry with Lucifer for not acting all evil as the world and all the angels believe him to be, when he's not. He has now begun to show mercy and restraint when interacting with the humans, which is most definitely unusual for someone who claims to be the Devil. :) And yet the angels and all the world only sees him as such. Lucifer doesn't appear to be evil such as the world and the stories about the Devil told in the Bible and throughout all of history believe him to be, and he most certainly hates being seen as such. He makes a point to say more than once throughout this episode that he gets a bad rap for everyone's sins and that people's sins are completely on them, as they should be. And I absolutely love this twist on his character. It's one of the many reasons why I feel so drawn to watching this show, because this version of Lucifer isn't at all like the others shown in other shows like Supernatural, Touched By an Angel, or in the movies. :) Lucifer's bartender and protector is Maze, or Mazikeen. And she's a demon Lucifer brought to Earth with him. I love her fierceness and how devoted she is to protecting Lucifer. Even though she too is now worried about him because she sees he's begun to change in a strange way as well. Maze has also established she's very promiscuous in her sexual life, and she's grown concerned that Lucifer is changing for the worst. And she doesn't like it. You can see the worry about his changes on her face in the ending of this episode. There's more to come for her character, like all other characters as well. Dan Espinoza is another detective who is one of Chloe's superiors, and he's also her soon to be ex husband and Trixie's father. Chloe and Dan aren't divorced yet, just separated. From this episode, I don't really care for him much and it's pretty clear Lucifer doesn't like him much either. However, Dan certainly is a character I can see who has great potential to become a character that grows on me. And Dan certainly doesn't like Lucifer either. And while Dan and Chloe aren't together any longer, they still have somewhat of a civil, if not platonic relationship for the most part, which is nice. Especially for Trixie's sake. And then there's Dr. Linda Martin... the therapist Chloe and Lucifer come to see while on their case. However, by the end of this episode, Lucifer comes to realize he needs help so he can try to understand human behavior and more, so he comes back to Linda and establishes a deal with her. Her help and someone to talk to about any personal dilemmas that might arise, in exchange for sex. She is clearly drawn to Lucifer just as most women are because of another of his superpowers that cause most woman to feel attracted to him. However, Linda also has more strength within her to be able to see in him what's troubling him, and has no qualms with calling him out on it. And I love her!! Lucifer is also known for making deals as is established when we meet Delilah... a woman who used to work for Lucifer at his nightclub, whom he accompanied her singing on the piano. And she's someone whom he made a deal with years earlier. Lucifer had gotten her into the music business and introduced her to the right people so she could become a rising star. In exchange for his help, she owes him a favor, which Lucifer cashes in when she comes back into his life. Like I mentioned above, I really love, love, love that this moment shows us that Lucifer isn't the all powerful, evil monster or devil that the world has believed him to be from the beginning of time, as Lucifer simply asks Delilah to pull her life back together. We see that he genuinely appears to care for this woman who has unfortunately become lost in life due to drugs and alcohol, and the wrong men who treat her badly. And Lucifer genuinely appears to want to help her pull her life back together. After all... he tells Delilah as such and like we know... he doesn't lie. Sadly, Delilah is killed thanks to who we later learn to be her music producer, who had her killed for the royalties that would come to him upon her death. I love seeing Lucifer work with Chloe to bring justice for Delilah and so he can punish the guilty. But more so, I deeply love how Lucifer feels guilty for setting Delilah up with Jimmy, because it shows a much deeper side to his character that we wouldn't expect to see from the Devil. And I love how he doesn't fully understand why too.
This show is amazing and my absolute favourite, especially season 2 and 4. Keep with it because the first 5-6 episodes are setting the scene and developing the characters and their relationships before the season’s main story arc begins. Just to clarify: the show is based on a DC comic of the same name, not the bible, though there’s a few references thrown in for fun, but you don’t need to look too closely at scripture for clues/info. Lucifer is the Devil aka Satan, Prince of Darkness etc. Lucifer was known as the Lightbringer, hence his surname being Morningstar and his club being named Lux (Latin for light). He is an angel and was cast out of Heaven by his father, God, and forced to rule Hell as a torturer of damned mortal souls after he lead a rebellion against God that failed. Lucifer has the power to draw out people’s hidden/forbidden desires, he doesn’t create them, only draws them out, but people assume he’s responsible for people’s sins as well as evil in general - a misconception he hates. That’s why he asked his older brother, Amenadiel (Ah-men-ah-deal) “do you think I’m inherently evil or because dear ol’ dad decided I was?” Amenadiel is his older brother and an angel who is not banned from Heaven (like Lucifer is) and his ability is to slow time. His and Lucifer’s angel powers do no work on other angels or demons. Maze, short for Mazikeen, is a demon who used to serve Lucifer in Hell as his chief torturer. Oh and most people find Lucifer insanely attractive, hence Dr Linda’s response to him, but as you saw in the episode, Lucifer’s powers don’t work on Chloe, something that fascinates him. Chloe is straight I believe, she’s married to Dan, though currently separated and they had Trixie together. Lucifer (and Maze) is pansexual and is often depicted with both women and men.
Lucifer uses the name Morningstar as his last name because they both mean the same thing. Morning Star is another name for the planet Venus when it is visible in the sky before the sun is rising. It is also known as the Evening Star when visible after the sun sets in the evening. In ancient Rome, the name of the morning star was Lucifer that literally is"Light-Bringer". If visible in the evening it was called Vesper. The name gets into Christianity in the Kings James Bible where Lucifer has used instead the Hebrew name in the single location it is used in the bible. In modern translation "morning star" tend to be use
You're on solid gold by taking on Lucifer. He will evolve and you'll have a seat on this emotional rollercoaster. So Amenadiel mentioned that where do you think all those souls go to... have you wondered who put those evil souls there -- Dexter. Yup, a plug for your inquisitive minds to explore the man who like Lucifer is searching.
The Detective doesn't believe Lucifer is THE Devil till near the end of the series. And he's in love with her, and not bulletproof when she is with him.
Lucifer is the fallen angel and the first son of God who rebelled and was punished by being cast down to hell to become the devil. This show is loosely based on the DC comics character of Lucifer who originated in the sandman comics, in the comics he is essentially all powerful, is the second strongest dc character behind God himself (called the presence in comics) and looks alot like David bowie. The show changed it a good bit but kept some things
Don't forget that the reason why Bible proclaimed him to be fallen and evil is that he disobeyed god. That's all. He disobeyed god and led a war for control of heaven. That's why bible put him as symbol of all evil. Not because he actually did any torturing or evil things. His evil act was disobeying god, you don't have to be a psychopathic sadistic monster to do that. This is what i loved about the show when i found it back in the day, that it actually depicts the original character of Lucifer (the myth), untainted by the christian propaganda of him as evil psychopathic sadist since he doesn't like serving god. Also, his job is punishing bad people on god's orders: so punishing bad people is evil? ;)
They announced the last season and then they said "the last last season and then the last last last season I swear the devil made me do it." So I don't know if season 5 is really the last season. XD
At first season 5 was the last season, but later on, they came out and said that they will do a season 6 which will be the very last one.. And because of the world being shut down for some time, they had to stop the filming for season 5 and split it in two parts, Season 5 A and Season B with 8 episode on each...
Lucifer is the fallen angel, he is gods son but was banished from heaven to hell to rule because he pissed off god big time basically (Samael, Samuel, Devil, Lucifer, falling angel, Morning star, light holder, the one who brings the light, are some of the names people refere him as) Dad is god cause he created Lucifer as one of his sons/angel Ps: I don’t read the Bible myself nor go to church, if I said something wrong pls let me know, all of this comes from curiosity, context and research of many years
"Satan" is not a name. It is a title. It means "The Accuser". Lucifer was given the title of satan, to accuse souls of sins so they could determine whether the soul is worthy to go to heaven. Like a prosecutor. It's where the term "Devil's Advocate" comes from

Glad to see you two are enjoying LUCIFER. Such a fun show. Lucifer and Amenadiel are brothers - God is their Dad.
I love it when someone starts watching this show
Common misconception a'lot of people think lucifer is a demon.
When he's actually an angel
He was an angel
@@callmemartian8955 He is a angel or Archangel if you want to be technical about it.
And how they sneak in little one off lines that come up in later episodes.
The police parts is the clever parts though. Cuz it always match whatever issue Lucifer is having. Also love the way they always say the title of the episode. I’m rewatching all seasons and back on episode 3 of season 1
@@sandywolfr26 I always thought it would be revealed that they were all part of God's plan.
@@DaveH82 nah cuz free will and all that. Only thing god did is put Chloe on earth and might did something to make them run into each other.
As Lucifer always says of 'Bones', "It's the perfect combination of procedure and banter."
Your theories are so close yet so far... They refer to themselves as Celestial beings. The ins and outs of this interpretation of this theology are quite fun so stay tuned a lot of your questions do have answers.
Bible stuff basically.
This show is based on the DC comic version of Lucifer, which was originally "created" by Neil Gaiman for his Sandman comics and often (always?) drawn as David Bowie, hence the use of Bowie songs.
"You want to keep the devil, way down in the hole". Well, in this case, the devil's above ground.
The character of Dan was recast before the pilot. Trixie was cast to look more like her dad, the first actor.
Oh, I didn't know that!
This is a surprise!!
Don't binge it, you'll never catch up in time, S2 alone has 18 episodes. Just enjoy it at your own pace
Haha, yeah that's definetely the best plan, not what I did though, I watched the whole series in 1 week lol
@@thimo-louisdeleur2796 sameee
Umm why not? I binged it in 2 weeks 😂
I rewatched all 4 seasons in 9 days so yeah…
@@thimo-louisdeleur2796 this is what i did
This is, as the credits mention, based (very loosely) on a comic book. The comic Lucifer was deliberately designed to look like David Bowie, so the Bowie song was a bit of a shout-out to that. (The music, throughout the show, is first-rate! Don't think I didn't see you singing along at one point!) ☺
Specifically, “Fame” is playing because David Bowie passed not long before they filmed the pilot. They said that at a con.
Sincerely,
Heidi
Not all of his siblings in the Silver City see him as evil. In particular, there is one angel that pretends to be a ghost that doesn't.
@@dalesplitstone6276 I mean... as far as Lucifer believes at this point in the show, none of his siblings like him.
Heidi
Not beings.
It's a brilliant show! Hope you two enjoy it!
Welcome to Team Lucifer!
He left Hell to spite his father - God.
Amenadiel: _"I would love a war."_
Hold that thought for a few seasons...
His "Angel name" as you put it in this tv series is "Samael".
Just an FYI, Lucifer is based on a DC comics character and has a cameo in the CW's superhero crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The heroes traveled to a bunch of parallel Earths and Lucifer's world (Earth-666) was one of them.
so much chemistry between you two the way you bounce ideas off each other earned a sub from me looking forward to following the reactions
This is actually based off a Comic series, for DC's mature line: Vertigo.
Lucifer was inspired by David Bowie, so the song playing in his club, is a nice little nod.
As the series wore on, it kind of departed from it's comic book roots, and added in a bit more biblical fantasy.
Lucifer Morningstar is a comic book character designed by Neil Gaiman, and the character was inspired by David Bowie.
Amenadiel is an angel who can manipulate time.
It's funny that you mentioned David Bowie.
Lucifer's comic version, from DC, is inspired by David Bowie.
Also, Lucifer despises Hell, but he hates people that do evil even more. That's why he said he would've had fun torturing him.
5:21 That's simultaneous "Oh." was adorable.
So Carly Nicole...What do you desire 😈
Ah yes what a devilishly delicious little tale you've begun 🙏
The First Celestial War was when Lucifer revolted against God, was defeated, fell, and became a fallen angel. He was actually God's favorite before he fell. One reason for his revolution was he became envious of humans for having souls, because angels don't have souls.
Angels do have souls tho, demons don't.
@@greeneyes-_- No, they don't. Get your shit straight.
@@eatsmylifeYT Get what shit straight? This is not the Biblical version, the show Lucifer is based of the Dc Comic with the same name.. This show is very loosely based of the Fallen Angel Lucifer.. So, no need to be rude about something that does not apply for the show...

Love how people think Lucifer is the "Bad guy" we are the bad guys he just punishes us lol
I love this show so incredibly much. Hope you love it too
"I don't know how lighthearted a show called Lucifer is going to be."
This tickled my funny bone.
I love their thoughts. They seem to be trying to figure out a lot of religious topics on their own. Its interesting to see how they work it out.
Lucifer retired because he was bored of being in hell
Man said let me spoil it episode 1 lmao
One of the craziest things about this show is that it's D.C. as in batman, the green arrow and the flash are all in the the same universe. In fact in one episode of Green arrow, some of Oliver queens friends talk to him so they can save their friends soul.
I love your reactions and I love Lucifer, so the confluence of that is awesome! Excited to see the rest of the episodes. There's a million possible spoilers but I'm going to give none. All I can say is that every puzzle piece you are currently missing will be given to you in later episodes/seasons.
It came out in 2016. You won't be able to Binge it in time to see 5B . Season 6 is coming out next year, now that they've finished filming it last month.
OMG, Lucifer now and Killing Eve next? Patreon here we come !!!
The word Morningstar is another name for Lucifer, used in other texts and folklore
You ask some really good questions for the first time watching this! Don’t worry, most if not all get answered.
I’m so envious that you’ve just started Lucifer, I would love to erase it from my head and start from the beginning every time I finish a rewatch! It’s my all time favourite show, you may end up being so invested in these characters! It’s got funny moments but it’s also got loads of emotions, so buckle up!
Last part of season 5 comes out May 28th. Season 6 comes out next year or soo
last seasons coming up me and my moms show we watch together
I have already watched Lucifer multiple times and seeing you actually predict a lot of the plot from the pilot alone is fascinating 😱
Lucifer tells everyone that he's not evil he punishes the evil. One thing he said about why he chose L.A. was the weather, the women, and of course Mexican food.
The actor of Lucifer also plays Gary in a show called Miranda. Starring Miranda Hart.
Lucy would be real bummed with all the questions lol.
Lucifer is one of my favorite shows. You are going to definitely enjoy this. If you’re looking for light hearted and a feel good show I would suggest The Good Place. The episodes are only about 22 minutes each and there are only four seasons. Avoid all spoilers if you do watch it because there are so many twists and turns you want to be surprised
I live for the serie because of Sr. Tom Ellis.Just adore Sr. Ellis's sarcasm.
and so british, actually he's welsh!
As the opening scene begins...there’s a few lines posted...which more or less stated that Lucifer, The Devil..Lord of Hell..got sick of being there..& wantd to go “take a vacation”..& ended up in modern day LA (Los Angeles - City Of Angels) of all places..of anywher he couldve went on Earth or in the universe...Such a good show thou..He is friggn hilarious..wth his brilliant one-liners in the British accent of his..& Im a guy..So Im also a big fan of “Maze, the Bartenderette”/Lucifer’s on-Earth demon companion..I just love dam cute girls, who can also kick som ass 🤜💥
Once I started watching Lucifer I couldn't stop I binge watched all the way to the left show
Pilot- Thank you both very much for your reactions for this Pilot episode of Lucifer! :)
Now...
Next...
Lucifer's bartender and protector is Maze, or Mazikeen.
Amenadiel has the ability to slow down time
she wasn't sent from Heaven but she was part of a miracle that God sent to her parents!
Check out the six episode show Good Omens! It's light-hearted for sure!
Omg one of my favourite reactors reacting to one of my favourite shows. This is a welcome surprise.
There was another actor that played Trixies dad but they changed him to the current one and reshot the episode. The previous one looked more like her.
Just hilarious how the "devil eyes," frightened you.
Loved your reaction to Haunting Of Bly Manor. Looking forward to these.
Luci didn’t bring him back to life. He just held his soul from leaving his body for a few seconds before he died but he couldn’t hold it too long.
In this show, Lucifer is not inherently evil. He just rebelled against God ... And God has a better marketing team. XD
Lol, “definitely gay”
Oh you sweet summer child.

This is a welcome surprise! Love this show!
6:00 “I just pulled the trigger “ so did the gestapo.
10:31, Lucifer is a pansexual king and Maze a pansexual queen!
Also, his job is punishing bad people on god's orders: so punishing bad people is evil? ;)
Oh my I just started lucifer as well
They announced the last season and then they said "the last last season and then the last last last season I swear the devil made me do it." So I don't know if season 5 is really the last season. XD
At first season 5 was the last season, but later on, they came out and said that they will do a season 6 which will be the very last one.. And because of the world being shut down for some time, they had to stop the filming for season 5 and split it in two parts, Season 5 A and Season B with 8 episode on each...
I loved yalls reaction! subscribed!!! Keep up the great work
Lucifer is the fallen angel, he is gods son but was banished from heaven to hell to rule because he pissed off god big time basically (Samael, Samuel, Devil, Lucifer, falling angel, Morning star, light holder, the one who brings the light, are some of the names people refere him as) Dad is god cause he created Lucifer as one of his sons/angel
Ps: I don’t read the Bible myself nor go to church, if I said something wrong pls let me know, all of this comes from curiosity, context and research of many years
it may only be 5 seasons so far, but it’s the best 5 seasons we could’ve asked for!
Feel free to finish binging Lucifer before 28th May because S5 b releases then. Y'all are in for a freaking treat! 🔥💯
Ohooo I love this show hope you react together to all of it
I wish I could just answer every questions or theories that you guys have because I literally just say it in my head lmao
4.5 seasons are out now, the 2nd half of season 5 drops 5/28. Season 6 is confirmed and season 7 is either confirmed or probable.
"Satan" is not a name. It is a title. It means "The Accuser". Lucifer was given the title of satan, to accuse souls of sins so they could determine whether the soul is worthy to go to heaven. Like a prosecutor. It's where the term "Devil's Advocate" comes from
Great series. Think you both will enjoy it. You both bail it that Lucifer is attracted to all humans regardless of gender. I think you both will really enjoy the growth of Maz as she goes from soulless Demi was to so much more.
Detective: doesn't like lucifer
Them: she's gay
