The character Lucifer is actually from the graphic novel series The Sandman written by Neil Gaiman. There is actually a very brief crossover with the Arrowverse (specifically Legends of Tomorrow)
Chloe's appearance and words made Lucifer reflect on what he had done and that is what made him want to stop the guy from killing Josh. And to do this he called his brother ONLY to slow down time so he could remove the bullet, so basically he used him.

Lots of cool stuff to explore. Look into Lucifer (The Sun of the Morning) folklore. He was God's top Angel according mythology. The Bible & other religious lore use allegories & metaphors to aid understanding. Therefore, Lucifer has many names depending on religious culture. All Angels, dark & light, above & below are bros & sis. They have typical sibling issues & fight a lot. They all have the same father (God) & both must adhere to his rules. Obviously Lucifer isn't interested & is a bit restless. So, he challenged and/or questioned his father. He was cast out of heaven as a result. Have fun😁😁

This was a comic book series made by Vertigo comics, which has now been bought and absorbed by DC both as a company but canonically as well, with Vertigo publishing comics such as the Watchmen, Hellboy, Lucifer and my personal favorite, Constantine. Lucifer is also technically a part of the Arrowverse's multiverse, living on Earth-666. In the comics he was meant to be almost indistinguishable from David Bowie, but they couldn't find anyone else who could pull off that kind of charm so they changed him to a more Keith Richards-esque character for the series.

Carly Carly Carly Just when I forgot about you and missed you too I remember saying react to the boys and you did and now you are reacting to Lucifer 💕💜💓 💗 I'm so happy today 😊
Lucifer, Stay. Good Devil.- Thank you so much for another fantastic reaction for Lucifer, my friends!!! I really enjoyed watching this episode again with you, and I'm so happy you're continuing to love Lucifer so far. I can't wait for more! :) I enjoy this second episode a lot. And I like that the idea for their case throughout the overall storyline, was taken from a movie with a similar storyline titled, Nightcrawler... about a reporter who creates chaos and destruction in order to be first on the scene for the big story. I agree with you, that it's really good. But back to Lucifer... I love how Chloe and Lucifer work together to find out the truth behind who killed the son of the famous actor, and who's been killing the other innocent people beforehand. I also love how Lucifer manages to insert himself into the case when he walks upon the crime scene after he becomes interested in what made Chloe upset during the phone call she took while talking with him at his club. And I love that Chloe is first seen at LUX initially so she can begin investigating Lucifer upon being suspicious by the strange occurrences with him that she just can't explain. It's also great that he knows that she's begun investigating him too, and has right from the start. Now... I love the beginning when Lucifer comes over to Chloe's house to speak with her, and seeing Trixie hug him while Lucifer immediately becomes uncomfortable around her, then how he throws the doll to try to get her to get away from him. I really like his and Trixie's dynamic, almost as much as I love Lucifer's partnership and dynamic with Chloe too. Trixie is adorable. :) However, outside of the case going on throughout this episode, more so... I love the storyline regarding Lucifer and his change he's struggling to understand, yet is fascinated by, and how he comes to learn from and to correct his mistakes thanks to Chloe. Now... my favorite scene throughout this episode is the ending, when Lucifer calls on his brother, Amenadiel in order to right his wrong upon pitting the two reporters against one another in a twisted form of punishment. The humor Lucifer brings to this scene is phenomenal and simply hilarious, in spite of what he's about to do being very wrong. But most of all... I love how it's because of Chloe's words to the more innocent reporter, that makes Lucifer understand that he is in the wrong and allows him to change his mind, then even to go as far as calling on his brother for help thanks to Amenadiel's power to be able to slow down time. This is one of the many things I love about this show. That while Lucifer is selfish because of him having been forced to become a punisher and cast down into Hell by his father, and because he struggles to understand human emotions, Lucifer manages to learn from his mistakes with each case and works out his own personal dilemmas throughout every case with help from Chloe. And this adds so much more to their relationship that I love so much! One bit of the storyline you both seem to have missed... Chloe didn't punch the lens of Nick's camera when he took a compromising photo of her during her time filming her movie. Chloe was angry with Nick for the longest time, because her father had died about two weeks after the premiere of her movie, and Nick had crashed her father's funeral in order to get a photo of her grieving his death for the papers. So he could be the first to do so. And this is so wrong, and why he feels so guilty. As for Chloe going to see Jimmy... the killer now locked up in the looney bin because he's absolutely terrified of Lucifer upon having seen his Devil face... I really appreciate this scene because for one... we learn that Lucifer didn't actually kill him like we were led to believe he had in order to punish him for having Delilah killed and for nearly killing Chloe, which I absolutely love about Lucifer and his character. I love that he isn't an outright killer like Lucifer in other shows and movies has been portrayed to be. And two... because we see just how frightened everyone really is of the Devil truly walking among them on Earth, just as the street preacher was terrified of him in the beginning of this episode as well, even though we can see that Lucifer isn't all evil like we humans believe him to be. I love this... because it adds so much to Lucifer's character in way that while he isn't evil, the humans' belief in thinking he is adds to the belief and stories we've all come to learn about the Devil from the Bible, stories, movies, and other TV shows ever since the beginning of time. Also... I suspect that while Lucifer didn't kill Jimmy, he must have also really messed him up and forced him to see just how dark he can really be, or perhaps even the worst version of himself in order to for Jimmy to wind up so, so terrified of him. Lucifer has shown that he truly cared about Delilah, and he's come to care about Chloe already as well, so of course them both getting hurt because of Jimmy is more personal for him. It would make sense he would make Jimmy suffer more so than most others he's punished over the years since he's been on Earth. Perhaps even more so than those in Hell as well. And lastly... Linda is a bit unprofessional, because she is sleeping with Lucifer, who has now become one of her patients. And yet she is very insightful. She has the ability to see more into Lucifer's thoughts and feelings than anyone has ever been, and he's clearly grateful to her for it, which is why he comes to see her to talk about all that's vexing him so much about his changes. And Linda is very quirky and funny too, which I really love about her character. She's actually one of my favorite characters throughout this show outside of Lucifer and Chloe. I hope you will continue to love this show and its characters, including Trixie, Dan, and Dr. Linda, who are all amazing in their own ways as well. So thank you very much! I will see you in your next reaction. Until then, my friends... Sincerely, Heidi
The IDEA is of this series is based on a comic book by DC comics known as Lucifer. The basic plot is the same..but the series is loosely based around the comic. In actual comic Lucifer is more powerful and intelligent than its shown in the series and not a flirt or a playboy.
For info, Lucifer come from a comic Book of Vertigo a group of DC Comic so i don't know if you have seen the cross over of all the DC series "Infinte Crisis" , in case not , go watch to see a good cameo.

Yes, the show Lucifer is technically based off of a comic book, but it's DRAMATICALLY different from what you see here. The comic that this show was supposedly "based on" was actually a spin-off of Sandman. So the Lucifer in this show is supposed to be the same Lucifer as the one in the Sandman Netflix series. Which... if you've seen any of that at all, you'll know they have absolutely nothing in common whatsoever, lmao.
Yes, this is based on the Lucifer comics, which are a spin-off of the Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman. It's technically a DC comic. But the show is only very loosely based on it: some of the characters and the very general concept of Lucifer having a piano bar in LA are from the comics, but the whole detective/crime solving thing is not. Chloe doesn't exist in the comics, for instance. "What is 5 years to Satan? It's probably like a second".... well, about that.... 😂 (You'll understand the emoji after you binge some more :) ) "He can predict human behavior" -- wait, what? Whatever gave you that idea? 🤨

Yes, this is based on a comic book from DC Comics. But the story is quite different from each other, all the way from the characters looking completely different to the powers and story being different aswell. If I'm being honest I find the series to be quite more interesting than the comic but the comic is still pretty fun.

Just when I forgot about you and missed you too
I remember saying react to the boys and you did and now you are reacting to Lucifer 💕💜💓 💗 I'm so happy today 😊
Lucifer, Stay. Good Devil.- Thank you so much for another fantastic reaction for Lucifer, my friends!!! I really enjoyed watching this episode again with you, and I'm so happy you're continuing to love Lucifer so far. I can't wait for more! :)
I enjoy this second episode a lot.
However, outside of the case going on throughout this episode, more so...
Sincerely,
Heidi
it is! but in the comic Lucifer was blonde and he appears to be David Bowie!
The IDEA is of this series is based on a comic book by DC comics known as Lucifer. The basic plot is the same..but the series is loosely based around the comic. In actual comic Lucifer is more powerful and intelligent than its shown in the series and not a flirt or a playboy.
You guys are on a show that is, well it is, what it is to different people, it really has everything, keep going it only gets better.
He was even in the crossover crisis on infinite earths
It is indeed based off of comics.
For info, Lucifer come from a comic Book of Vertigo a group of DC Comic so i don't know if you have seen the cross over of all the DC series "Infinte Crisis" , in case not , go watch to see a good cameo.
Fun fact: The title of the episodes is also in each episode's script (most of the time, Lucifer says it). Try spotting it ✌️
I like to think that the girl in the bit life ads truly has no idea what relationships are also nice video
Love Lucifer hope you guys binge and post so I can catch up
The only television shows I've ever watched live as they came out each week were Lucifer and Gotham. If you ever need anything to watch, Gotham is like Lucifer but with young Batman villains.
In the last episode 5x16 there will be so much lesbian tea. It's my fave episode lmaooa
If you didn't know, this is actually a DC comics property and he's one of the most powerful DC characters
The guy from heaven is Amen from the prayers
😂 (You'll understand the emoji after you binge some more :) )
"He can predict human behavior" -- wait, what? Whatever gave you that idea? 🤨
Fun Fact: Every episode title is said out loud at some point during the episode.
Jeremy Davies is good in everything he's in.
he is baldur in god of war
I'm terrible with faces, but the kid actress playing Trixie is Latino like her dad, and I'd say she kinda looks like a mix of the two of them.
Nice reactions! Keep the Lucifer reactions coming!!
100th comment! Also, loving your reactions to this show! You just gained a subscriber!
Nice video! I actually enjoyed this. I'll wait for the next Lucifer's reaction upload.
Trixie is so cute omg
The original dad for Trixie had brown eyes and brown hair. They recast the dad Dan.
to answer your question, that is based on comic book, but they're very different
15:00 "I seen it before, I have the internet"
Lmfao well ain't that a bitch😂😂 *this isn't even in HD* was the best part.
Love your reaction to Lucifer please continue
Technically he is based on the DC Comics Lucifer, a small crossover with the CW Flash and Green Arrow show.
You guys should watch The 100!! It’s so so good, I think y’all would have such good reactions
The series Lúcifer is based in a spin off of Sandman when Lucifer be tired of hell and go to human word and open a bar
Their was a different dad that was casted as Dan, unless it was in another universe I watch it in lol
Another actor played dan in first version of pilot
@@cernik9 good I'm not too crazy
Note: each episodes name is an actual line in the episode.
18:05 to hear an atheist say, "Oh, my God!" It's mind blowing. as an atheist I can enjoy such moments without religious fanaticism.
and.... oh, my god, it's so, so funny! :))))
Bruh he literally invented teenage rebellion
0:41 Trixie is the best character on the show. Also Lucy doesn't lie. He jokes tells half truths or omits certain things, but he doesn't outright lie. And maze? Well she has 3 best friends, and no one calls Her skank a skank. Her words not mine
All I will say is wait until season 1 episode 9. I believe that is where the series really took off.
Yes, it is based off a comic book.
This series is loosely based on the DC/Vertigo comic book.
More lucifer reactions!! You guys are doing great. Nicole I only watched Boys reactions on this channel, I am first time seeing your girlfriend in reactions she is so pretty, so awesome in insights. Great one for Lucifer reactions.
that's his punishment!
This is loosely based on the DC/ Neil Gaimen comic by the same name, with some of the characters being reimagined for this show. The comic was not a procedural.
Double upload! =O
The tv show is actually based on the comic book sandman.
Yes, this is based on a comic book from DC Comics. But the story is quite different from each other, all the way from the characters looking completely different to the powers and story being different aswell. If I'm being honest I find the series to be quite more interesting than the comic but the comic is still pretty fun.
By the end of many seasons, you guys will definitely like Dan. 😉
