His deep, calm, mysterious, charming yet terrifying at times voice, the scenes where he plays with his victims before showing them what real hell and pain actually is, the tonality and the colors of the show are much darker compared to the other seasons. This shows his indifference towards others and his actions, his rebellious attitude, and most importantly, his narcissistic behavior. With each season, he becomes less of that and starts to care about his actions and the consequences of them. From season 1 devil Lucifer to season 6 Angel Samael. The show itself is a representation of the redemption arc. Lucifer went s through trials and tribulations to become what he once was, the angel Samael. A very good show.

I gave the show a miss when it came out, because I was pissed with how they changed it so drastically from the original. The graphic novel was one of the most brilliant works of fiction I've ever read. But last month I got bored and gave it a try- I absolutely loved every minute of it. They perfectly nailed the existential angst of our relationship with a silent creator, and yhe questions about life, death, the problem of evil, redemption. And I'll just admit it- I'm a jaded, desensitized, scruffy 40 year old guy who cried like a baby at every other scene. This show's an unexpected treasure- it really makes you care about the characters. If anybody hasn't seen it, I couldn't recommend it enough.

That was the 1st time we saw a emotional Lucifer. Every other time we see the real him, is because "work is calling". That was something more. As much as he says he doesn't like the "offspring" - I would be terrified to see what would happen if someone hurt her.
When Lucifer gets all devilly, I always get hyped asf. He plays it so perfectly. Seriously, they couldn't have cast anyone better than Tom Ellis to play Lucifer. He's perfect for the part! I love how the show can be light hearted and funny in one scene, but then completely turn dark and gritty in the next scene.
The fact that this series gives us a different perspective on satan is what makes this so unique, and tbh there is a chance that he really does only punish bad people or in other words its just he's job since we do not fully know the story of Lucifer
Hopefully when Lucifer season 4 comes on Netflix we will get more cool devil powers and punishing moments now that we can probably get more graphic content on this show next season
