You definitely scored on this one. Hayabusas are legendary and their motors are one of the best ever made. however, a known issue for the 1st gen is 2nd gear. bring it up to 6-7-8k rpm and try to shift. that's one of the first things I look for, otherwise you will need to undercut 1st gear

You should definitely get a Hayabusa it will be the best purchase in your life. I've done a lot of research on the hayabusa and there is plenty of owners with over 200,000 miles on there stock motor that's insane the Hayabusa is a Tank crazy reliable

Nice Busa. My biggest suggestion is to tune the ECU with the Moore Mafia setup. Gen 1 busa’s have notorious overheating problems cause the fans come on at too high of temp. This is fixed with the ECU flash. Also, front brakes on them are terrible.
Straight come up! I make crazy Facebook come ups all the time maybe I outta start filming it. I just traded two kayaks for a clean title 92 cbr600 f2 with tons of race parts and spare parts
Been having a hard time getting a 1st gen busa to start cause it has a c41 code. Changed the relay and pump and it still won’t start. Taking off the bad pc3 and hopefully it works
Love my 2019 hayabusa, best bike ever, reliable as hell, and comfortable, If you need new fairings ABS Farings is made in the USA with Japanese virgin ABS plastic with amazing reviews. Can’t speak for them personally but from what I found they are the best
Happened to me a few yrs back i rolled into a gas station with my honda 2001 f4i and had a 70yr old man with a 2010 hyabusa who walked up to me and said that my bike was the greatest bike he ever he owned back in his younger days and kindly asked me if i would ever consider a trade so we made a deal there and then!!

You probably already know about this, but some years of the Hayabusa had issues with the subframe cracking, so make sure you check for that while going over everything.

@@2wheelfamily493 I took a look online and it looks like the aluminum subframe had the issue for 1999 and 2000, then Suzuki changed it to steel.
