Zeelicious food, I don't know how to thank you enough. I'm a lover of yogurt and I'm also a biology teacher.
There's this aspect of biology where we have to teach our students CULTURE and it's industrial importance. I've always skipped this aspect because I can only make yogurt with the already made culture.
This time, I made the yogurt from scratch!
Thanks so much.... plus you look beautiful.

TIP: i have always made yogurt by buying store bought and using powdered milk its what's available to me.
The best trick i learned to keep it warm is to put it in the oven ( if it has a pilot light great, if not ) in a jar with a candle close by but not touching... but also leave the oven open a crack so the candle stays lit. Within 5hrs i have thick fully made yogurt.
I have never made my own starter and because of covid yogurt has been scarce. I don't have chilli peppers or lemon..
Will have to try with limes!

@@enduranceamachree308 I actually use the Peak UHT 1 liter pack, I bought my starter and incubate mine in a cooler with warm a towel (it came out well set) cos leaving it out and just covering it didn't work for me. It just needs a warm place. I keep it in the fridge for about 2hrs for it to set even better before use.
I take out about 4tbs to make my next batch.
I think this pattern in the video is easier cos you literally find all the ingredients at home.

Starter is a concentrated fermented youghurt & u need little of it to make youghurt just to give it that catchy taste. So in summary u need a youghurt to make youghurt, that's why she said we should not forget to keep some of the youghurt to make another one so that we don't have to go through the starter process. It's just like we need beans to plant beans😂😂🤣🤣🤣😄😄

I use powdered peak milk and lime for my starter then I used skimmed milk for the main yogurt
It got a little burnt but I only poured out the side that didn't burn because I didn't stir well when on fire
But one good thing it didn't boil for too long
Then I allowed it to be warm before I poured my mixed milk starter (i.e takin a little starter and a little warm milk in a separate bowl mixing it very well before pouring into the entire warm milk)
So I left it for 8hours I checked it only one side formed yoghurt so I tied it back with a towel and doubled the poly bag and covered it in a warm place and I left it over night for additional 15-16hrs and it formed the yogurt very thick and hard a little water under
    I drained the water under
So now my question is this
It has a smell not pleasant but not rotten
Its smells somehow but taste swore
    And it formed very well
Please what can I do to it?
Can I use it to make another batch of yoghurt or I just eat it like that?
Please help me what should I do?
    Should I throw it away?
    Please help me.
