    It’s only level within the square. If you place a 6’ level on that frame then set the digital protractor on the level and see if you are level.

    Hey John I'm not going to pretend like I'm a professional at stretching frames but for the most part when I've seen people do this they do something I think it's called a z cut and from what they say that should be superior to some sort of straight cut and straight weld I would look that up and check on that if I were you love the content keep it going bud

      @jkfonyi 11 месяцев назад +1

      He has addressed this so many times that your either trolling or this is first time you watched this channel . For the 50th time he knows about z cut he doesn’t care he is putting 6 foot liner in on the cut . So it’s gonna be double c channel for 3 foot in front of and behind the cut .

      Yeah that’s for sure u always gotta do an z cut I do frame stretching too

    • @angelo2k474
      @angelo2k474 11 месяцев назад

      @@jkfonyiI don’t matter actually if u put a 6ft or or 5ft u always gotta do the z cut cause is it’s a straight line it has more percentages for the frame to crack

      @@angelo2k474 that is just not true but you do it that way on yours .

      Bcuz it's John's truck and John wants to learn and the only way u learn welding and doing most of this type of shit is to do it over and over and over again John's lucky to have guys le Mason around working for him that are willing to teach and help him Mason may come off to some ppl as a dumb redneck but the guys got some knowledge and know how and balls to do it.

    When I do lots of grinding like that I prefer my 6” metabo with the side handle on it. Faster and easier to me

  • @monkipooman
    @monkipooman 11 месяцев назад

    For heavy steel like that, you want to be doing your vertical welds uphill. Too much of a risk of cold lap and or lack of fusion for something that needs to be structural
