Watching all your videos now that I've found your channel.....Love the attitude and humor in your videos...Plus your skill is off the chain...😂😂😂😂😂 Pun intended 😅
Good work brother! I understand why some things were skipped on video because obviously Job to do. However I'd have been interested to see the complete welding and sleve process. Either way good job. I hope they are paying you very well. I've seen you putting in some serious work.
With all the bending and twisting I'd seen the ? of all the "do not weld" stickers did Persist , this repair will survive Collision and subsequent straightening efforts . Sharp .
I do fiberglass repairs and because it flexes so much when I do a patch I have to be careful not to make it too strong and as you will get a hard spot with no flex to it and quite often get cracks 😊at either end of the “stronger than when it was new” repair. Are there times when a sleeve is not allowed because you need to maintain the flex ?
To get the frame back in square. One rail was shorter that replaced a bad one. The length difference was between the axles and steers. Drilling new holes really wouldn't work in this case because that would leave the new holes right next to the old so either you do a ton of work filling and repairing-reinforcing those or just stretch the frame rail.
in nc l want to build a house car, 25' box w/liftgate. No-go in N.C., single axle only and it has to come from factory like that. Even California did not care about twin or single rear axles.
45 degree cuts are a myth, straight cuts are stronger by far. I’ve rebuilt approximately 90 bridges since 1971 and we X-ray every joint rebuild and stress test and a 45 is a weak point.
Brother you know what you are doing is a dying art. Much respect to you for all the hard work and dedication. From the south Georgia boy.
Awesome work, 👍
Good video! Not many people take the time to show details of their craft. Great job Brother man!

Scarf Joint, it's called a Scarf Joint. GM sells extended cab trucks all year long with scarf jointed frame rails.

Is there a certain reason for a forward angle on the left side vs a backward. If you are doing a cutoff do you use opposite angles on each side?
Why is the strip welded in instead of welding the two frame rail sections together ?
Wow!
How long did it take to do all of this?
Great Job!
Thank You :)
Where do you purchase your frame rail from or do you have it broke
Hi, where is the shop located never seen an angle cut like that great job... Thanks
Thank you for you comment. We are located in Houston Tx
Love watching your videos, but I can’t take anymore of that dum di di dedum dum dim. Music!
I would like to know how can I reach you about stretching my truck?
Holy crap! How long of measuring did it take just to figure out ya had two different frame rails?
What was the purpose for stretching the frame only couple inches ?
Great work 👏 👍
Different length frame rails. One was 1.75 inches long than the other.

🥴 I’m dizzy from being dropped. 😝
Why just 2 inches
Yeah, they didn't order the frame rail by the vin number. 😂
What scared of showing your welds (just kidding)? As tight of a fit the sleve is, how do you pull it out ?
But what about bob ? 😆
