What person who watches this show thought that A-Train came straight from murdering Robin, the next scene we see Hughie in after she explodes is when Hughie and his Dad get home from her Funeral, not to mention its perfectly clear and obvious that its all in Hughies mind as he has a flash in front of the lawyer. Nobody Is ,Was or ever will think that A-Train came straight to the Apology meeting from Robins death

I did always wonder why Maeve never seemed to be in the show as consistently as some of the others. Makes sense now because she was ... her stuff just got cut sadly. Which does sort of take away from some of her scenes later just a bit. Definitely would have helped make her even more of a sympathetic character . She still is and shes still great. But man I wish they would've left some of those scenes in.
Scenes, no matter how great, are often chopped simply for pacing or are redundant. There's been cases of scenes quite pivotal or explain a lot that can change the direction of an entire episode/movie are also deleted unintentionally or on purpose.
Thing is though that this show might be the first example I can find of most deleted scenes actually adding to the show. They were only removed for time but they all made the show better if in.

The A-Train money scene also reminds you how rich these people are, the show doesn’t really explore that side of the 7 so it’s easy to forget that Vought is basically like if Disney, McDonald’s, big pharma, big tabaco, ESPN, FOX News, and Amazon had a baby.
I'm really glad they didn't include the deleted exposition scene with Butcher. It was so much better not really knowing who he was at all at first, thinking that he _might_ be an FBI agent but watching his first scene play out without the context. Too much backstory and exposition from the drop is a show killer. The Boys S1 did it right.
So, if Homelander can fly into space that means he doesn't need air and coldness of space doesn,t hurt him. If he actually blown up the planet - where would he go? Fly trough space searching for other worlds? Does he need food? We know he can eat, but does he need it? So many questions :) I love "what if" scenarios and to talk about them :)
He cannot bust a planet with his power though. He can only wipe cities and countries. Homelander have superhuman lungs so iam assuming he can probably stay alive for 2 weeks without breathing(like omniman) but his travel speed is recorded at mach 30 currently so he won't even reach mars before running out of oxygen and i don't think he needs food to survive. Soldier-boy was tortured for 40 years and i don't think Russians gave him anything to eat.
In cinema i get it why movies need to be cut in time. But in a series on a streaming service we are not really limited to a view minutes. Would be great if they just added a view scenes and made it like 8h10 instead of 8h on the clock.
I would like to see the entire fight scene between Butcher and the guy he went to after Tony Ciscero's. Where they were wrestling over the gun and all that.
to my knowledge Butcher was MI-6 and i can see why they cut the intro with bitcher and the box out, that alone seperates it from like 20 different movies and shows that introduce common character types into the story
I actually really like Queen Maves' character a lot. This is truly one of those shows where the managed some of the most unlikable characters are likable. Especially Homelander, that is definitely a sign of great and acting and great writing.
1:40 seconds of fluff before getting into the actual topic at hand is a travesty. You should have left a minute and ten seconds of that on the cutting room floor.
Sometimes being late the party has its advantages. Get to binge watch at your own pace and not wait a week or months in anticipation for the next episode or season.

The boys was originally published by Dynamite comics, so yea not within the same universe, and up until recently Watchmen wasn't either. And to address the original comment, it's not the same plot as Watchmen at all, similar in a way yes, the story is very different. It's like saying the X-Men are a rip off of the Avengers because they have superpowers and fight supervillains.
Well in the comics literally everyone on the Seven could fly. The show having it so that only Homelander and Stormfront could fly is more original. That being said though in the show it seems she can maybe do long jumps. She can't literally fly but there are numerous instances in the show of her appearing jumping down from somewhere offscreen or suddenly appearing.
last episode of season 3, after Maeve saved them all & lost her powers. When her & Annie are saying goodbye, she specifically says "I could jump, you can fly"

The one problem with the boys and really any live-action show that becomes successful, is time, Maeve's actress from season 1 to season 3 looks very noticeably older, and it's no fault of her own, biology waits for no one, but I can see why they wrought her out of the show, and unfortunately, it means the show can't go on to much longer, Homelander and Butcher are both likely aging out, and the show just can't exist without them.
This is hardly ever a problem for any show and definitely is not a problem for this show. As long as the actor is physically fit to act which obviously everyone in this cast is for years to come, then they can perform. If Anthony Star hair somehow suddenly all turned grey they’d just make it blonde. If Maeve’s actress has so many wrinkles on her face that the producers couldn’t stand it and it somehow magically can’t get covered by makeup then they’ll literally edit it out. I like the show, but they definitely went way outside of the source material. Homelander would beat the dust out of Mave no effort, the boys all had powers, the sups are way worse then the show, and the depravity is higher in the comics.

@@Naptosis Let me get this right, you and presumably, those that disagree that the show is winding down and coming up on its last season or two, think the show will continue to have at least 3 or more seasons, despite Homelander in continuity being 40 years old, and is actively being hunted in terms of at least one man wanting to kill him, that same man has less than a year to do it before his own body dies.
The story isn't meant to go on forever. It has a clearly defined arc and there is an end in sight.

I like the show, but they definitely went way outside of the source material. Homelander would beat the dust out of Mave no effort, the boys all had powers, the sups are way worse then the show, and the depravity is higher in the comics.

No, they say MM because it’s easier and less weird to say. Believe it or not, even in the show, people don’t want to say Mothers Milk all the time. They say things like “Mr. Milk” and “your mom really named you Mothers Milk?”
