His interaction with Blindspot left me speechless and chilled to the bone just realizing he turned someone with incredible promise and strength, into someone damn near worthless.
True, and equally tragic is, if BlindSpot *had* gotten on to the team how many assignments would he accomplish before someone figured out his weakness and how many, near-misses, would occur before BlindSpot *had* to recieve medical treatment to prevent him from going deaf? Homelander's standards, which I'm explaining not endorsing, are no less cruel than the realities that BlindSpot would've to inevitably confront *had* he gotten on the Seven.
You know we still have yet to see how formidably strong he is in the show. The fear of his powers is what gives him power more than anything. Gets thrown by Stormfront and a bloody nose from Maive. It’d be major plot twist if they revealed that he was just a bit better than the average Supe but not the almighty one. He isn’t Vought’s most valuable asset after all, there’s gotta be some form of power/or person they use to make Compound V with that could be the real deal and could possibly explain why Edgar is so unphased by him, as he knows the bigger picture which Homelander is just a small part of.

I was so hopeful that Brightburn was going to be an epic beginning of an evil psycho Superman. Instead, it was just an average low budget horror movie. Such a missed opportunity.
I don't know why but his willingness to kill people or dismember them instead of restraining them without harm makes him seem weaker than super man. Homelander was completely right during plane situation. There was nothing he could do. The passengers could have easily warned him there was another terrorist in the cockpit. They chose not to. It's their fault things went down as they did.
@@hs5312 If he knew he could he definitely would have. He wants to look like the big hero . He didn't think he could and didn't want to take the chance and fail so would rather pretend he was never there. If he just saved that one girl everyone would known he failed.
Seeing how starlight looked in season one she was almost perfect.i have no idea why she decided to have multiple plastic surgery. She now looks twice her age and starting to look like those women who have a serious addiction with surgery. She ruined her natural beauty
I feel like Homelander could have stopped the plane from falling. I'm 99.9% sure he's strong and fast enough to either lift the plane or carry people on-board safely down. I think Homelander was just so lazy, he didn't want to save those people. Why try to save everyone where he can easily get PR from not saving them either? He had no reason to save these people in his head.
He couldn't save it. Like he said, he's so strong and fast he would tear the plane instead. The difference between his flight and Superman's is that Superman is basically floating in the sky, whereas Homelander is doing something along the lines of moon gravity.
@@PurooRoy Homelander says a lot of things that either stretch the truth or are just straight-up lies. I'm sure if Homelander strained himself enough, he could've saved everyone on-board. Or heck, given how he's faster than sound, I'm sure him and Maeve could've went back and forth bringing the passengers down to land safely. Homelander's just been shown to be very lazy, and saving those people wouldn't havr gained him anything.
@@diamondsanchez224 the back and forth part was the only solution. Maeve even said that, to which he said he doesn't want to do it. Because if he fails the survivors will tell everyone that he failed.

Or the times he was on stage and would float like a wannabe-Jesus figure. How about when he was fighting Billy Butcher in Season 3 and he floated upward to shoot lasers?
@@PurooRoy I dunno, he could have matched the speed of the plane and gently slowed it down. He was lazy and thought it was beneath him… plus he could exploit the tragedy
about flight 37, homelander isnt really a carbon copy of superman as he has some of superman's powers but extremely toned down versions of them, he also abides by the laws of physics meaning he literally couldnt hold the plane without the plane snapping in half
Homelander is All Braun no brains. Then he suffers when he screws up because he has a conscience and it drives him insane with suppressed guilt. It's very sad. He creates such great suffering and is suffering for it.
People who take their suffering out on people who have nothing to do with it are weak. Just some truth that has nothing to do with the show, except Homelander.
So here is my question or questions, 1. Why would they create a being that has no weaknesses to exploit, 2. If nothing can stop him, what do the boys expect to do? It’s game over for them and the world in general.
@@truthlamon Well, after this season finale, it appears so. At first though, nothing anyone did hurt him; so it looked like it was impossible. It wasn't until Solider Boy laid hands on him, causing him to bruise, did it look like he could be hurt.
@@Mzlanders Huh? I asked two questions and made a statement and all of a sudden, I'm unhinged by fake characters?! Reaching much, are we?! I asked the questions because most literature has a beginning, build up and then climax (end). If the whole point of the Boys is to stop superheroes from doing whatever they want and bring down the company that creates them, then it would stand to reason that the superheroes can be beat. Until the most reason episodes, they made it look as if HL could not be harmed. Thus my question. Also, a reasonable question, why would anyone create something they have no way to end or take down, knowing that thing could and would possibly turn on you in the future.

I wonder if starlight could be a huge assist and blind homelander long enough for someone more capable to eff him up. Issue is he has laser eyes but he also has heightened visual prowess. I mean maybe. Another serious issue is starlight uses her powers less than like a dozen times probably lmao. For some reason she just uses her somewhat mediocre super strength to punch and kick. Dont get me wrong she shoulder presses the back of a car in her video to try to join to seven but im pretty sure black noir is better in those regards and even more durable... She should play to her true strengths more. That blinding powers kinda super useful seeming to cripple people. Season 3 spoiler ahead- And black noir still gets fully donut holed by homelander. I mean homelander almost donut holes starlight in an elevator threat he really dug his hand into her abdomen.

As smart guy once said, "You put force, you get exact amount back at you. Thiccer the booty, greater the attraction".

The Boys perfectly mix hero's with the actors who play them. Ezra could lose a place on JL for what has happened. Amber Heard is out for private matters becoming public dropping Amber's ratings
Amber Heard is out because she's a human turd. And Ezra has always been a weirdo but the rainbow alphabet gang always had his back.

Can he ever play something else from now on? :D

I was so hopeful that Brightburn was going to be an epic beginning of an evil psycho Superman. Instead, it was just an average low budget horror movie. Such a missed opportunity.
That movie was good tho
@kainlives7958 yep
I don't know why but his willingness to kill people or dismember them instead of restraining them without harm makes him seem weaker than super man. I don't know if he was that strong he should have no problem stopping people without going all out. It's like a guy who's extremely strong tackling you vs a guy with a gun shooting u
Like Diabolical showed, he decided to stop them first but then chose to kill them instead when the situation went out of hand, and also because he found it more convenient and also found out he could get away with it. But yes, he's weaker than Superman.
So you agree with the current justice system. I rape and murder your love ones I get out in 20 years 15 with good time? Bad people or undesirables in society should be killed period no questions

Homelander: nah cant do it fam to hard to do
Mr. Starr has no idea how much his fans love his character!!!
His smile is fucking terrifying.
Homelander was completely right during plane situation. There was nothing he could do. The passengers could have easily warned him there was another terrorist in the cockpit. They chose not to. It's their fault things went down as they did.
So he couldn’t have carried the plane?
@@hs5312 If he knew he could he definitely would have. He wants to look like the big hero . He didn't think he could and didn't want to take the chance and fail so would rather pretend he was never there. If he just saved that one girl everyone would known he failed.
@@matthieuheahmund850 seems pretty dumb he couldn’t even think of just going under the plane and carrying it

I swear everytime I see a homelander clip I think, " OH American ideals"
Actually, he isn't. Black Noir makes Homelander look normal.
Only in the comics.
@@Johnny3Batony Absolutely right. The Black Noir on TV is not the same character at all. He's his own person who was manipulated by Voight.
Seeing how starlight looked in season one she was almost perfect.i have no idea why she decided to have multiple plastic surgery. She now looks twice her age and starting to look like those women who have a serious addiction with surgery. She ruined her natural beauty
a-train is not a "fledgling" speedster
he killed the fuck out of blackhawk or whatever
@@PurooRoy @Puroo Roy And the fact that he's lazy and he really wouldn't have benefitted from saving them compared to lying about them.
Also, Homelander's flight isn't much different from Superman's. If he was careful (Which he wouldn't be, of course) he could've lifted the plane easily. Homelander has floated before, such as right after him and Maeve left the plane to float and watch it crash.
Anthony Starr is terrifically terrifying.
Hughie should def take permanent V and just say he was never strong enough to be a real supe for the next season

@Garmon I must have missed it. Enlighten me.
Homelander can definitely be stopped
@@vr4892 , you’re oddly irritated with the character of Homelander, who’s from a parody show about comic book superheroes. You okay?
These Videos are actually very well written
Its something with his stare, his blue eyes just make you uncomfortable. I have the same colored eyes and so many friends of mine say my stare is unsettling when I’m not even mad. Idk why some people get creeped out by blue eyes.
Losers, because not everyone cares about blue eyes.
Season 3 spoiler ahead-
And black noir still gets fully donut holed by homelander. I mean homelander almost donut holes starlight in an elevator threat he really dug his hand into her abdomen.
Personally I find Homelander and Omni Man very interesting characters because they're basically Superman but they are not exactly good guys compared to their original inspiration well Omni Man did change along the way in the comics.
Pfft. He's America's greatest hero.
There are many people like him, they just don't have his power.

Omni-Man is a Viltrumite. That didn't stop him from, well, anything.
Just a tragically flawed individual
With great power goes great oversight of your actions and responsibilities
It's the fault of the people who created him for not giving him a weakness or fatal flaw as a Fail-Safe. Humans have Kryptonite if Superman goes rogue
