Why Omni-Man VS Homelander Isn't Even Close!

- For a few years now, we’ve been blessed with some of the greatest on-screen super villains we’ve ever seen. And no, I’m not talking bout Thanos or Joker, even though they are great. I’m talking bout the two twisted versions of Superman himself - Homelander and Omni-Man. But, for as similar as these two villains are, it isn’t really fair to compare them when it comes to a fight. One of these villains is much, much more powerful than the other. Sure, people try and do it now and then, but today, I’m gonna prove once and for all why Omni-Man vs Homelander isn’t even close

Home lander is a kid in a mans body that can't fight
heard this on deathbattle the other day not wrong
I haven't even watch both show and even I know it a fact 💀
hey, that's from Death Battle.
Don't forget that Nolan has centuries of hand to hand combat experience as well, for he was coaching Mark on many occasions of using various techniques. Remember he also had to defeat many of his own kind in order to survive the great Viltramite purge.
He was born after the purge
Omniman didn't have to survive the purge. It came before him.
thousands.
thousands of years.
You forgot Nolan has conquered hundreds if not thousands of planets throughout his roughly thousand year lifespan. Homelander has never left Earth's orbit.
I think Homelander actually couldn’t save the plane full of people because they applied realistic physics to the situation. If he applied the force to support the plane into a landing, it would probably come apart as the small contact points of his body against the plane pushed through it.
Omniman explains that they dont have to push off from the ground to fly because they can interact with air the way they can the ground and can basically walk in a straight line while flying I think thats why they can lift stuff in air
@@Zylloz Right, that works for Omniman, but that doesn’t mean Homelanders powers work the same.
@@curseoffenrir Oh I thought you meant that if Omni man was subject to more realistic physics like homelander he also wouldn’t be able to lift a plane that’s why I said he could cuz it’s part of his power.
@@Zylloz oh right, for sure. I’m not even sure what my point was, it was awhile ago, but Omniman would for sure wreck Homelander.
yeah but the thing is the bus knocked him on his ass when he was flying which would suggest that flying takes away his strength mid air and I seem to recall somewhere that omni man explained that physics didn't apply to the viltrumites because of there abilities which just makes homelanders day that much worse
Homelander is a national threat whereas OmniMan is a *planetary* threat. Homelander is to OmniMan what a baseline human is to Homelander.
Omniman wins this fight so hard that it is insulting. It is like comparing a PS5 to a Gameboy color just because they both play games

Also another note that I rarely see people point out, Viltrumites are accustomed to pain. Battles that actually challenge them will cause blood, guts and bones to splatter all over the place and they would still carry on fighting. Whereas Homelander who's never experienced any physical challenge, save from Soldier Boy and Butcher, would just writhe in agony over a battle with Omni-Man. Dude would probably cry for mercy the moment Omni-Man rips out his arm lol.

@@abdouaboud7490 "Remember what I promised you"
Youre not wrong, Homelander reminds me of a kid that just always got his way because.. Well he's got fucking superhuman powers in a world of a bunch of regulars, aaaand definitely has mommy issues.
Yeah, even if you said "okay these 2 superman expies must be equal in actual powers", Homelander's temperament and experience is basically a child with little to no actual combat experience throwing around toys, vs a (however many) years veteran of interplanetary and interdimensional wars with beings of somewhat equal power
So they're souped up saiyans?
One other thing to point out about omniman's power is that, as he described, he can "move himself freely through space," and thus can access his full strength using aerial leverage. He also has like 100's of years of combat experience from a planet whose entire purpose is war. Homelander is strong for his verse, but he's literally not even close to omniman.
100s? the guy is like 4500 yrs old,and has been conquering and Genociding Planets for thousands of years.
i even kinda thought before watching "oh but he's only bled a couple times in the whole show, he's clearly way more durable than Viltrumites who bleed and get injured all the time"
then i realized it's because they hit so much harder. Homelander is paste before it's even began
@@TarsilyWasTakenespecially becahse when viltrumites bleed it’s mostly from very strong beings or entities
They would literally be close to each other if the fought though.
@@1Shithawk I'm sorry but even highballing Homelander that's not possible. Let's assume JUST for argument's sake that homelander and omni-man have equal stats, even though omni-man has solo'd entire planets with futuristic technology whose vanguard alone was giving the other heroes trouble and tanks orbital lasers meant to obliterate whatever they hit.
Even IF you give homelander that, combat experience is a thing, and we're still talking about a 30-something celebrity manchild vs a 1000 year old warrior who has fought in numerous wars and fought thousands, if not millions of super-powered beings.
What you're suggesting is that a weight-lifter with Floyd Mayweather's build could have a "Close Fight" with Mayweather in a boxing match. That simply isn't gonna happen. He will weave obvious and unpolished attacks, then land counter after counter. What I mean to say is, even at equal strength homelander's not touching this dude.
Edit: I realize now you literally meant literally now I'm just like 🤦♀️
Homelander didn't state he couldn't lift the plane, he just explained a clear physics problem is all.
That's cause in Homelander universe, Physics Actually apply like they would in the real world. In most fictional universes, That isnt the case. Most fictional Universes Throw the laws of Physics out the window.

So when are we going to see them fight ?
Seems like a very odd oversight to think Homelander couldn't carry a plane because he was in the air. He clearly explained that no matter where he grabbed the plane, it would instantly tare apart, poking fun at superheroes of the past who handled planes as if they were cars.
its because a live action series has limits compared to animation

Homelander explained the plane thing. He said he would just punch right through it cause of his strength...I don't get people saying he couldn't do it
Yeah, if you gave him a plane of the same size on the ground he could easily pick it up and throw it, it’s just the physics involved that stop him.
@@Th1sIsMyLegacy yeah, I went back and watched it. He does say he needs to be on the ground to do it
Yeah, while I agree Omni-man is stronger, the plane example is more along the lines of The Boys adhering more to physics than Invincible does.
It's because his flight "muscle" isn't that strong. It can maybe lift 1000lbs. He said he would punch through it if he accelerated himself enough to knock it up into the air. His physical strength is much stronger, but his flight "muscle" is not that strong.
It has nothing to do with "flight muscles". You can't push a plane that weighs tons with an area the size of your hands and not expect to puncture it. He could be infinitely strong, but a plane is designed to withstand pressures from certain angles. It isn't designed to take the full weight of the plane in an area the size of your hands anywhere on the hull.
I think Homelander vs. Immortal would be a closer fight, and immortal is the example what would happen to Homelander if he went 1v1 with Omni-Man.
Nah immortal would beat him too
Not if Homelander uses his eye lasers. Immortal gets sliced up.@@zurielthompson5715
Immortal, while not able to beat Omni-man, actually gave him a good run for his money. I think hands down Homelander would lose to Immortal.
Even that isn’t close. Immortal has thousands of years of experience, drew blood from Omni-man, which the hammer struggled to do, took hits from Omni-man, and outright won a direct punch clash between the two of them. It’s just not fair
Immortal can easily beat homelander too😂
Yup. The way they're portrayed in _Invincible,_ I think that _any_ Viltrumate would twist Homelander's head off his shoulders in about half a second.
Death Battle but it perfectly with Omni Man’s opening words to Homelander. “I’m going to feed you your own heart.”
One of the biggest things against Homelander is that he has never faced another individual of the same strength, other characters like Omni-Man & Superman have not only fought other similar level heroes/villains but have also faced people of their own races. Additionally Omni-Man is also trained in combat tactics which is somewhere I think Soldier-Boy and especially Butcher should have had an edge up on Homelander so Omni-Man would as well. Homelander is really just the biggest fish is his pond, most other characters he gets compared to not only have other big fish in their pond they also have been to other ponds.
Even in the comics, when he fought an identical clone of himself, he got absolutely obliterated. Even Maeve and her “prop sword” were able to leave a mark on him. Homelander is only really dangerous because he’s more or less propagandised to be the perfect hero and everyone else are just knockoffs to his perfection.
@@evanlight2550comicnewbies.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/black-noir-kills-homelander-5.jpg
does this look like absolutely obliterated? He lost but it didn't look like a stomp
For real for all we know he’s been holding back his entire life because no one around him is strong enough for him to try… yet people love putting him down
@@evanlight2550 I wouldnt say "completely obliterated", yh he got destroyed, but he also literally destroyed BN lol, Noir was also a walking corpse after the fight against HL, so given that he never fought a character on his level before, he did pretty good.
At least in show, he fought Soldier Boy pretty decently
The reason Homelander says he couldn’t carry the plane isn’t that he isn’t strong enough it’s that because it would all be concentrated in such a small area (him comparative to the size of a plane) he’d just punch clean through trying which makes perfect sense. He gets stomped by omniman don’t get me wrong just clarifying that bit of info, we have no clue how much strength he has while flying
Edit: just a note for the comments of “he said there’s nothing to push off” he did you’re right but he then also had the rest of the conversation about how he can’t fly at it without punching clean through or flipping it meaning he can still output force when flying we just don’t know how much or if it’s all from his acceleration and mass etc. And about the bus scene personally I don’t think it’s a good source just because he’s surprised by it we have no idea if he could lift it while flying, shit you’re very able to lift being thrown at you as a surprise could absolutely still knock you about irl and the boys is meant to be a more realistic take so I’m going with that logic. End of the day none of it matters when comparing the two because it’s basically a tank vs a toddler with a rubber hammer levels of unmatched XD
True. It's not about his strength. It's about the plane's structural integrity not being able to handle all of its weight being supported on a single stress point.
Conversely, Omni-Man has indicated that Viltrumites are able to consciously control their position in space with the same amount of force they can generate physically, allowing them to provide full leverage to every blow they throw.
Yeah I always saw that as the boys recognizing how Superman catching a plane just makes no sense from a physics standpoint
i was about to comment this, but you beat me too it, haha, thank you
@@nolan8226They even sorta retconned this in the future by giving Kryptonians “tactile telekinesis”, which basically means you can lift anything as long as you’re strong enough and it won’t break from it’s own weight.
This is correct. The best Homelander could’ve done was guide the plane into the water by gently applying force to certain parts of the fuselage. Not enough that it’d break, but enough to hit the water without everyone dying.
This would be incredibly difficult and require an inordinate level of delicacy, something I don’t think Homelander is remotely capable of.
It's not just Omni-Man. I can't think of a single Superman type character out there that Homelander is capable of defeating (he would not even survive against some of them).
wonder woman, and batman
@@kareklasgr2207definitely not batman, did you see Batman V Superman
I agree. Homelander is a genetically engineered human. Omni-man is from an other -world DNA line. Stronger, faster.
@@XDR_GooseOkay but Batman beats/kills the justice league basically by himself including Superman lmao. @@TheDustinW i never said that
The greatest feet of speed that homelander has ever shown us was slightly over Mach 5 whereas Omni man has been shown to move at the very minimum Lightspeed and at his maximum significantly faster than light multiple times. Not only in the comics but for people who don't read the comics in his most recent episodes in the Invincible series season 2 he was shown to travel to a completely different galaxies in less than 2 weeks... for reference the nearest galaxy to us is roughly 25,000 light years away(Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy) he was also shown to have the strength ability and flying ability to resist being pulled into the gravity of a black hole
I thought Andromeda was the closest galaxy to ours.
Yeah Omni-Man is a planetary powerhouse with hundreds of years of combat experience, an insanely high pain tolerance and - patience, a concept Homelander can't seem to grasp.

homelander was able to carry over 200+ pounds miles away before a bomg went off and bombs go off extremwly fast
Just so you know the biggest asteroid known is Ceres. It is slightly smaller than Texas (584 miles wide compared to 773), and is estimated to weigh somewhere around 1 quintillion tons (1,000,000,000,000,000,000). The average asteroid is moving between 40,000-55,000mph. Stopping an asteroid like this is magnitudes more impressive than any feat homelander has ever had. Easily trillions of times harder than stopping a flying bus(which homelander couldn't even do). Comparing homelander to Omniman is like comparing black widow to Thanos, they arent even on the same metric, let alone level.
I agree with all of this, but Omni-man diverted it, which requires a lot less force. Still way more impressive then homelander, but it's not the same as straight up stopping it
@@LordChaiinsawhe deflected it
I was going to write something similar. People don't have a concept how BIG things are in space. To even deflect an asteroid is amazing.
Being able to stop such asteroid is not about sheer strength, it's about applying force on the edge of structural strength of asteroid for a very very very long time. Instant hit would just crack asteroid with close to zero impact on asteroid's momentum.
It's a moot point in light of all of that, but Omni-man also has centuries of intense training and combat experience. Before facing Soldier Boy, Homelander had basically never been in a serious fight with anyone of comparable power to himself. So even if their powers were equal (which as this video shows, they are not), I have no doubt that it would still be a curbstomp in Omni-man's favour just because he's so much more experienced. It's like a trained elite soldier going up against someone who's never even taken a self-defense class.
IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!
Homelander also never trains. Maybe if he trained he could be that much stronger
Heavy Weight champion vs. Average bodybuilder.
The plane issue was a displacement of weight issue that gets glossed over by super hero comics.
It is posited that he trying to fly under and counter the weight of the plane and carry it to safety would not displace the weight and stress of distributive force evenly, but would creating a single point of force unto one point wherever he'd be pressing to hold up the plane and the areas where plane isn't getting an equal amount of carry would split the plane, assuming he's carrying the plane from the central underbelly of the plane.
There's a nuance here (I'm at 9:27 so maybe you bring this up) that shows a hacks reason why Omniman 100% beats Homelander even if they were closer in strength and durability. Homelander's inability to access his full strength while flying is a matter of leverage. This is actually the key to Viltrumite powers - they can create leverage at any point in space around their bodies (not sure what the spatial limits are). All other things being equal, Omniman would still have physics on his side.
i read that Omni-man actually creates negative mass on the opposite end of his body in which he is exerting strength allowing him to massively increase his power which is why his punches are so devastating
@@modjoe4107 doesn't that amount to the same thing though?
“Not to mention that Omni-Man can fight, Homelander can not fight. That is legit the end of the argument”
*Classicmand 2022*
For real. Even if for whatever reason omniman was i'd dare say even slightly weaker than HL I think he'd still have a pretty good chance of coming out on top. A bigger stick doesn't count for much if you don't know how to swing it.
Omniman doesn't have to fight Homelander just like a Tiger doesn't have to fight a squirrel.
goddamn you did your best to make this video as long as possible
Just randomly came across your channel with the Batman Spider-Man video. You have some great content!
As death battle put it , “one is a bully, and the other is a soldier.”
I just want to protest that Omni-man isn't actually a dark take on Superman. That's a red herring of the creators. The reality is Mark is the Superman and a fairly straight example except for basically finding himself in the Superhero-verse equivalent of a From Software setting. Omni-man is actually a GOOD ZOD. Well, a nicer Zod.
Given his place in the beginning of the show, he is clearly the equivalent to superman there. He is the one who descended to earth, and he's helping out the guardians of the globe, that are basically the justice league ripoff of this universe. Mark is a "what if Superman had a son?" kinda deal. It's a dark superman with a son that is more like good superman. Nothing else.
The BEST take I've heard for Omni-Man is that "He's not evil. He's a soldier"
He's kind of more like a mixture of Zod and Vegeta
Zod is still an evil Superman, so the analogy holds.
I love how when Omni man flies fast enough, he creates a literal nuclear level explosion when he collides with anything.
OmniMan folds Homelander not 2, not 4, but 128 times at least. End of debate.
Homelander might be the strongest Supe on Earth, but Omni-Man is a Viltrumite, making him *much* more powerful. I think Superman vs Omni-Man would be a more interesting fight.
Overall I think Superman would win but omniman hoes for the kill giving him the edge in a few fights

He wouldn't have to lift it. If he matches the speed of the plane he could've slowed it down to the point that he could have saved the people but he doesn't have the finesse or confidence

Great video bro 👍
Also, unlike Homelander, Nolan knows how to actually fight properly. He's got a few hundred years of practical combat experience fighting other super-powered beings.
And remember, Nolan is a survivor of the original Viltrimite culling. That alone should say it all.
Quick reminder that Nolan was born after the Viltrimite Purge.
Nolan is on the whole another level - he is too strong even among his own race. For example - he fought against 3 viltrumites saving Mark occasionally. Not to mention others Omni-man battles. He's too strong and experienced comparing to Homelander. Homelander vs 1 weak viltrumite or maybe Immortal would be more fair fight. And I'm not sure about Immortal here - he's way more experienced than Homelander. He could defeat him.
nah immortal would rip him apart just as easily. immortal's physical strength is somewhat similar to omniman's strength but he is nowhere near as durable as him, so his body falters in such a fight. he was as physically tough as a vitrumite he'd probably be omniman's equal.
Add that Omni-Man is MUCH older and more experienced in combat on top of his mental toughness and martial prowess.
Sure it looks like Nolan doesn't have any special fighting skills but that's because half the time, he has no need for any fancier than a simple straight efficient punch. He often shows is pure strength Nolan has centuries of combat experience due to his insane Vitrumite lifespan. Plus, his physiology means that even if he was injured by Homelander... his body would adapt quickly and also his healing factor is something Homelander definitely doesn't have.
They did try to nuke Nolan and it did absolutely nothing... Vought did have a backup plan to nuke Homelander if he truly got out of hand. If a metal object can be shoved into Homelander's ear and cause injury, it would be child's play for Omni-Man shove his finger through the entire skull.
Honestly, even a young Mark could probably beat Homelander eventually. The advantages of the Vitrumite heritage are too much. The main characters in Invincible would pretty much all be able to beat Homelander.
But on the evil Superman archetype front, it would be much more interesting to see Sentry or Ultraman go up against Nolan.
Sentry will wreck Nolan...easy
Well mark is the most powerful viltrumite im pretty sure eventually

There's also the fact that as you mentioned Homelander was said to be unstoppable from any of Earth's Arsenal. Last I checked, Omni-Man isn't from Earth, so...

I wanted to expand on strength and durability of Omniman. Omniman was conditioned by a superpowered race. Like Spartans, he is the best of the best, because he caught off the rest.
I think strength and durability aren't the best attributes to look at though. Omniman has a purpose that has guided him for thousands of years. Homelander doesn't have shit for purpose. Even if Omniman was in the same universe as Homelander, Homelander would be fighting for Earth's independence, but his purpose would only to have humans love him. So, for example, most Supes in the Boys universe have SOME kind of extra durability, compared to humans. This durability often appears to be particularly resistant to blunt forces, such as that from punches or falls, rather than blades or bullets. So when it comes to super strength and durability, Soldier Boy seems to be one of the strongest Supes out there; those are pretty much his two main powers. But for those two powers, Homelander still appears to have the edge; it's why, after getting over the initial challenge, he was able to get Soldier Boy in a chokehold. Adding on his lasers, flight, and speed, Homelander beats Soldier Boy 90% of the time.
Omni-Man has mostly the same power set as Homelander (with the exception of eye lasers, as far as I know), but everything is scaled up to eleven.
Something to note regarding Homelander and the plane; it's not clear if Homelander was refusing to carry the plane out of laziness/ulterior motive (using the deaths of the passengers as political leverage), OR if he correctly concluded the grim reality that it's not an issue of strength. Assuming Homelander had infinite strength, and didn't need to stand on a solid surface, it still may not matter in an effort to carry a falling plane. Homelander's strength, as the ability to exert massive force on an object without his own body structure crumbling or snapping, may not make a difference in carrying a falling plane, because it's like trying to carry a large sheet with the point of a pin; no matter how sturdy the pin is, it's just going to punch through the sheet. Homelander's strength and durability would keep himself from getting crushed or pushed out of the sky by the plane, but he would likely just break a hole through the plane, as he stated.
Definitely not 90% of the time. The last fight needed Homelander and Butcher to unite to defeat Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy is basically Homelander - ( heat vision + flight ) + Depowering blast + better combat experience. It'd be more akin to 60-40.
Yea omniman is just from a more powerful universe, I don’t think there’s much in invincible that homelander would actually be able to handle
Yeah that's about what I was expecting to hear
Homelander grew up never having a fair fight his entire life. Omni-Man had to survive other Viltrumites to earn the right to live and killed many more to earn his rank. This is like comparing a war vet to a gym bro
That's a retarded argument. Anyway it has nothing to do with experience. Omni man would literally one shot homelander. Even if homelander had "experience" he is only city level. Omni man one shots him with a finger
Homelander - *exists*
A metal straw - *I'm about to end this mans entire career*
Make a KRATOS vs OMNI-MAN video that would be crazy
If you follow the comic books, Nolan was one of the survivors when the Viltrumites killed their own to weed out the weakest. He also survived the virus that killed most of their species. He survived the alien race (I can't remember their name) where the race was more powerful than Viltrumites. Nolan is also thousands of years old with that many years of fighting experience. Homelanders fighting tactics are very limited because he doesn't fight anyone as powerful as him.
If Homelander learned of the Nolans power prior to meeting him, he would do everything he could to befriend Omniman. Homelander is a timid bitch when faced with problems he can't solve. Out of his own survival, Homlander would kiss Nolans ass offering to assist in the Viltrimite takeover of Earth. Chances are Nolan would refuse and kill Homelander anyway.
Homelander would have a lot to worry about than just Omniman. More Viltrumites are coming and Homelander would likley already be dead before they even arrive.
chances are Omni-Man would of killed Homelander as he is technically a threat to his Planetary Take over as he is the Only person on the planet with powers similar to his own. Although, Not equal, He is still strong in his own right, and thus a threat. Homelander would likely be the very first person he kills before taking over earth.
I thought Omniman said the purge happened before he was born?
@@aernlor no he was one of its survivors. His identity was left secret about his father so he wouldnt be instantly killed.
I think Deathbattle actually did a pretty solid job with this matchup.
Home lander did too much damage for it to be accurate that battle was more akin to a blood lusted invincible vs homelander
Yeah, i dont know why this is even a debate Omni-Man would wipe the floor with Homelander and Soldier-Boy at the same time.
Where are you ma boy ?
I gave you SOOOO MUCH ideas danco......c'mooooon man !!!
The riding in this vid is wild
the fact that more often than not, viltrumites are compared more with SAIYANS than homelander, should already be more than enough evidence as to why it isn't even close.
In my opinion, Omni-man Vs Bardock and Homelander Vs Brightburn are much better match-ups for both characters
Bardock smacks Omni man lmao
@@glidergoku He has the speed advantage though. Chuck made a video on it. Still a better fight than Omnilander
@@lolstalgic9602 bardock has a speed and ap and durability advantage
@@glidergoku Durability yes, but Chuck made a video on Gohan Vs Invincible, and while Gohan still stomped, the speed calcs for Mark had him faster.
Given Bardock is leagues below Gohan, Nolan would still scale to Mark and thus have the speed advantage
@@lolstalgic9602 danco steals and appealing to a RUclips to prove your point is fallacious asf
3:12, In comparison to the comic, Homelander’s attempt to stop a crashing plane ended it it breaking apart anyway (although he was stupidly ramming into the plane to stop it), but there is still the possibility that attempting to resist the forces pulling the plane out of the sky would also be enough to cause the plane to collapse, send him bursting through the hull like with Superman Returns’ version of Clark repeatedly damaging and losing his grip on the plane he attempted to save until it slowed down enough that he could fully steady it and put it on the ground (not that Homelander would be willing to risk failing to repeat Clark’s success to even try, as manipulating the ensuing tragedy to his and Vought’s advantage would seem far more profitable to someone like him)
4:43, As for durability, even if nukes were used against him and he wasn’t able to survive them, his advanced senses and ability to move and fly at supersonic speeds would theoretically allow him to avoid them, meaning he’d survive either way and civilians would be the only real casualties (if they targeted him while he was in a populated area).
I never see people asking who wins, I only see people making video essays saying it isn't close

Good to have you back Danco. Who wins these fights and why do they win?
Homelander just bullies normal people
While omni man bullies other superheroes
Next Video Idea : Insomniac Kraven The Hunter vs Arkham Ra's Al Ghul
Literally no one thought you were clever enough to make all these vids bro. No worries.
Bro steal people hard work
Regarding soldier boy he’s the closest to homelander is strength. If Homelander is a 10 on a scale soldier boy is an 8.5. Homelander got the best of him in the first encounter and soldier did the same to him in the second encounter but homelander was conflicted with emotion. On top of that homelander is created to be the soldier boy ugrade.
I would love to see a video on who would win between superman 1million & omniman
The primary difference is that Nolan has lived thousands of years as a warrior. Just to survive you needed to be strong. Homelander was born strong, and he'd never been tested. This one fact guarantees that Homelander would never beat Omni-Man.
Is it plagiarized or plagiarised?
Did you plagiarize this video too?
Everything that you explained you’re absolutely right
Damm good ! You have a sub from me just from this vid
A video was already made on this in animation Omni man wins no diff nearly homelander nearly lost to Maeve.
One thing I will say is that Omni man probably wasn't that close to killing Mark like it looked like that but their species can bounce back from a lot more spoilers but in the comics they get their spines ripped out heads cut off hearts toren out thrown into suns. Like this was def Omni man trying to frighten mark. You can even see in season 2 which is only like 3 weeks after how like not damaged mark is.
Most of the things you just listed are all things that killed Viltrumites in the comics. Decapitations and destruction of their hearts are some of the only things explicitly stated to be able to consistently kill them. And the very strongest of them was killed by being dragged into a star. They're absurdly tough no doubt, but they still have limits. And those durability limits tend to scale to their overall level of power. And simply put, Mark really wasn't anything special by Viltrumite standards at that point. He was able to recover so fast not because the damage wasn't serious, but because that's just how absurd Viltrumite healing factors are.
@commanderclown8620 your partly right bro. The can survive decapitation and hearts being torn out as long as they are not to badly damaged and are reconnected to the body fairly quickly. Conquest came back because Mark didn't know that decapitation was sometime not enough to kill viltrumites
you should try a supergirl vs Omni man
Jango fett vs riddick please do a video on this
I think a closer fight would be Invincible vs. Homelander
I think invincible still wins but we all knew Homelander vs Omni Man wouldn’t even be close
Agreed
I asked that above. Invincible also got horribly beaten by his father. I agree that he would still win.
Actually in the comics, mark surpasses his dad
Invincible from the first episode beats HL lol
Comic or show? Show wise homelander might win. Comic wise homelander losing hard. Harder than omniman vs homelander
I’m hoping for a live action fight between Omniman vs Homelander. Hopefully it happens before both shows end one day.
I think the closest we will get to that is mk 1
Yall forgot the death battle?
What about 'Saitama vs Rune King Thor' anyway, very good video, very good work 💙🏔️
I read that plane thing very differently, I always thought it was more because the boys has more realistic physics than most superhero stuff and that therefore if he tried to carry the plane it would just break apart anyways.
Red rush isn’t flash. Flash would’ve never gotten caught, and even if he did, he would’ve phased through Omni-man’s hands and could’ve phased through his brain or heart to end the fight right there. But yes Omni man stomps homelander. Just sick of the flash disrespect.
i think you’re forgetting flashes (or any other speedster for that matter) greatest weakness is the person writing him 😞. super speed is by far one of the most *broken* super powers of all time.
OmniMan literally has the ability to make interplanetary journeys while holding his breath. Thats light speed or better for weeks at a time w/o breathing. While according to some iterations of Flash, he can travel as tachyonic matter and move backwards through time, I dont think its something he can do while trying to fight. Furthermore if OmniMan hits flash even once its game over. Im not even a Flash fan, but Ill give him a "possible not probable" vs OmniMan which isnt something Id give to 99.99% of fictional super-beings.
@@nathancawley8759 Viltrumite speed gradually builds; they're not fast at accelerating in the same way speedsters are.
@@nathancawley8759 flash is 13 trillion times faster than the speed of light.
@@jordangipson3361 At that speed he would function as a cloud of sterile neutrinos and be unable to interact with baryonic matter at all. Im not saying that Flash couldn't get away, he absolutely could with very little effort, I just dont think he would win a *fight*, which isnt saying he couldn't. Thats just my opinion.
The distance in power levels from Homelander to Omni-man is massive. Leagues and leagues. But it's smaller than the distance from Omni-Man to Superman.
Superman is boring character
@@dragonman1871agreed
Dan, please make a versus between Loki ( MCU Season 2) and Infinity Ultron
Please do Why Green Lantern vs Iron Man is not even close. 🙏🏿😎💯
Omni Man: you don’t seem to understand, you will never defeat me no matter what you do
That's just on their powers. Omniman is a disciplined and expertful fighter who has faced many enemies and knows how to fight effeciently and quickly. Whereas Homelander never learned how to properly fight and just one hits his enemies because he never expects to fight anyone equal or greater than him.
So theoretically if Homelander suddenly gained Omniman's strength he would still lose because of their experience.
Can you do Yuga Kham vs Uranos?
